Kaladin gathered some supplies, and took a sand seal to the outpost south of town. Shield surfing behind a sand seal was definitely one of his new favorite modes of transportation. Never mind the fact that getting kicked off would probably kill him. He loved it.

Riju was waiting for him, and they checked over their supplies. Before they left, Kaladin heard Riju offer a prayer to Lady Urbosa. After a few minutes of riding, they found Naboris, and Riju activated the helm. There were massive dust clouds surrounding the area, and the noise from Naboris's stomping was deafening.

"Is it working?" Kaladin had to shout to hear himself.

Riju shouted back,"Yes, the magic field is hard to make out in all of this dust. Do you have the bomb arrows?"

"Yes."

"Stay close then."

After twenty minutes of firing at, and usually missing, Naboris's feet, Kaladin finally took the thing down. Vah Naboris sank to the ground, and opened up an entrance ramp for some reason.

"I'd like to see this inability for others to enter the beast for myself. I'm coming."

"I think I saw the ramp this way." Kaladin pulled in front of Riju's seal, and led the way. After dismounting they walked up the ramp together. Kaladin entered the doorway, but turned around when he heard Riju hit something.

There was some sort of invisible force field surrounding the entrance to the beast, but it only affected Riju. Kaladin wouldn't have known it was there unless Riju had tried to enter.

Riju dusted herself off and said,"How odd. I guess this is where I leave you then. But before you go, I have something to give you. I brought Lady Urbosa's scimitar and shield, thinking I could help defeat whatever beast trapped her, one hundred years ago, but I can't enter."

Riju pulled out a short sword and brightly painted shield. They were beautiful, like the other champion's weapons.

"I can't take them."

"You'll make far better use of them than I will. They were sitting in storage before. But, even more than that, you saved Barta, someone that you didn't even know, and are working to save Hyrule, a land that must mean very little to you. It takes a special person to do those things. Someone like Lady Urbosa. Take them. I think she would have wanted you to have them."

Kaladin accepted the gifts. The sword was well weighted, though with an odd design. "Thank you. If all goes well, I'll be back before sundown. Wish me luck."

He could feel Riju watching him as he entered the beast.

Vah Naboris was mostly the same as the other divine beasts. Lady Urbosa appeared and explained the terminals again, and also how to rotate Naboris's inner rings. She wasn't very surprised at Kaladin's appearance, almost as if she had expected it. He found all the terminals pretty quickly. While Thunderblight was a challenge, he had full spheres, so he defeated the monster eventually.

"That was…impressive. I don't know who you are but I bet you could've given Link a run for his rupees. The name's Urbosa.

"I'm Kaladin. Nice to meet you."

Without even thinking, Kaladin held out his hand for a hand shake. It sort of felt right. Urbosa reached out and her hand passed right through his. She didn't seem to notice, and shook her hand anyway.

"I used to be able to form a dome of electricity around myself with a snap. Since I'm dead, I have no use for my ability now. I grant this power to you."

An orange orb passed into Kaladin. He snapped and indeed, a dome similar to the one that the thunder helm made appeared. Later, when he checked his spheres, they were less full than he expected. Somehow Urbosa's power used stormlight.

"Thank you."

Urbosa looked down and finally noticed the sword and shield that Kaladin had been holding.

"I'm glad to see that somebody finally found a use for those old things. Though I'm surprised that Riju didn't take them up. I've got one last final stand to make. They say that Ganon was a Gerudo once. I'm going to make him pay for that. Naboris and I will be waiting for your signal, Kaladin."

Kaladin nodded, and started to pull out his slate.

"And tell Riju that she's doing great. She has my blessing."

With that, Urbosa finally faded, and Kaladin teleported off the divine beast. As beautiful as the short sword and shield were, they belonged with one of Urbosa's kin. So Kaladin walked into Gerudo town one last time. Riju was waiting for him in the throne room.

"So, how did it go?"

"Naboris won't give you any more trouble. Lady Urbosa said to tell you that you have her blessing. She's proud of you."

Riju started to lose her composure but nodded. Kaladin pulled Urbosa's shield off of his back.

"And here are Lady Urbosa's sword and shield. They've killed a blight ganon, but I think they're still in good shape. They were on loan after all." Kaladin winked. Riju seemed to catch on. "They belong with your people."

Riju reclaimed the sword and shield, and looked surprised, thankfully not offended, that Kaladin had just handed them back. Baliara looked shocked to see the weapons out of storage, much less in a voe's hands.

Riju said,"You have done the Gerudo people a great service today, Kaladin. Know that my people and I owe you a favor. You will always be welcome within our walls."

Kaladin bowed, and left. Ganon had no idea what was coming.
