James dad was passed out on the couch. He oddly looked somewhat like Toby's dad, maybe they could have even been brothers
Toby stood there, in shock of the similarities between the two men. He had stood there long enough for James to come back downstairs and look over his shoulder.

Toby sighs and unholsters one of his axes. I'm going to get in so much trouble for this he thinks, raising it up and bringing the blade down on the father's head. In stant kill. He didn't feel anything. Now that that's done, we need to go he thinks, pulling his mask back down and walking out the back door.

There was a small red rose bush right outside of the house that James had been taking care of. James was kneeled down looking over the roses, making sure none were dead or wilting.

Toby looked at James's sad posture, and felt a small surge of remorse. "We gotta go, but you know what? I'll find you some more roses myself. We'll have plenty of room for them where we're going.

Toby smiled. He couldn't help himself. It wasn't every day he saw someone get so excited about flowers. "Go ahead and pick some more. It'll be a couple of weeks, so you'll need something to keep you occupied."

James nodded. He sat his book bag down before grabbing out a pair of scissors and beginning to cut them. He was a bit slowly, but then again he could feel pain and these roses had thorns, "Your really something. I've never met someone who tried to kill me and then befriended me"

Toby grabbed James's hands and ran his thumbs across his wrists. "Thanks, kid. It means alot to me. You almost done getting those flowers?"
