Chapter 4
Authors Note : Thank you for the support. Lucas and Nathan are brothers. Karen and Dan didn't break up in high school they actually broke up for a few months back in college and that is when Dan and Deb hooked up and created Nathan. Eventually Dan and Karen got back together and ended up married. Lucas and Nathan are a year apart.
(So how do you think this whole situation is going so far.? I talked you into letting Brooke stay here. Which I'm glad I did. She needs structure and rules.)
(And the love and understanding of parental figures. I love Vicki but they have only ever thrown money or a nanny or a trip Brooke's way to make up for being hands off.)
(I want this to be a positive life changing experience for her.) Karen explained!
(We've done all we can to parent Lucas. We can only have impact and influence over Brooke to a certain extent. She is an adult after all.) Dan replied!
Karen looked at and husband. (She's 19 she's been lacking in everything but money her whole life. Her and Lucas aren't the same.) Karen stated matter of fact.

Lucas had graduated high school and planned to take a gap year. This was his time to plan and focus towards his future.
The last thing he wanted or needed was Brooke Davis as a distraction.
Brooke wanted to confront Lucas. Make him understand and see her side of things.
So when she went to look for him outside and saw his car gone.
She decided to give herself a more in depth tour of the house.
She went upstairs. Bypassed Dan and Karen's room. Along with Lucas 's.
She got to the end of the hall and found a room she hadn't seen.
It was clearly a child's bedroom.
The walls were painted in Raven colors. There was choice closet toys. A bookshelf. A nightlight plugged into the wall.
No one had mentioned a child living here.
On the wall spelled out in colored letters was a first and last name.
But it was the picture of a younger Lucas cradling the then baby that told her all she needed to know. He was a father.
