(We're on break from class we just stopped by to visit. We're on our way to lunch.) Nathan explained.
(You make these months miserable or you can give her a chance.) Haley said. Before joining hands with Nathan and leaving the home through the back door again.
Lucas knew Haley was right. And he hadn't really given Brooke a chance.
He turned around. And made his way upstairs.
Lorenzo was in his bedroom building with blocks.
When Lucas soon located Brooke. She had her luggage in her arms.
(I'm leaving. I'll get a room at a hotel.) Brooke announced.
(Is that what you really want.?) Lucas asked.
(No not at all. But I'm clearly in the way here.) Brooke replied.
(Brooke don't go you're mom clearly sent you here for a reason. And you like it here.)
(You leaving because of me wouldn't be right or fair.)
(I was an ass. I can admit it.) Lucas said.
(I won't disagree. I saw accidentally that you. Searched me up online.)
(Everything you found out about me is true. But there is more to then that.)
Brooke sighed deeply. ( I used to have a brother. He was 2 years younger than me.)
(Barney Marshall Davis. He was 17 when he just started acting out and stoped going to school.)
(He went from being towards a bright future to flunking out of high school.)
(Got involved with these kids he shouldn't have ever spoken too.)
(He slowly and eventually became a stranger.)
(I don't know where he is now. I haven't seen him in a year.)
(I miss and worry about him. That explains why I got kicked out.)
(I didn't handle Barney's absence well. I got involved with my professor was failing offered sex for higher grades. I look back on that time.)
(And I'm humiliated and ashamed.) Brooke admitted.
The expression on Lucas's face softened.
He had mis judged her.
Brooke clutched the necklace around her neck.
(The double B's stand for Barney and Brooke.)
(He gave that to me for my last birthday.) Brooke explained.
(Daddy come on. Build a fort with me!( Lorenzo insisted. As he entered the room. Taking a hold of his father's hand.
(I'll go unpack.) Brooke said.
(Maybe we can talk more later.?) Lucas suggested.
Brooke nodded her head in agreement.
Watching as the two soon left the room.
