Gordie got home earlier than Chris did that Friday.
He sat on the couch watching the monster picture of the day. "Godzilla vs. the Thing." He was supposed to see it with Lilly back in school, but it never panned out. He wished he saw it at the theater, it was a neat movie. He would have liked it. Chris would like it.
30 minutes into it, Chris walked through the door. Holding bags of groceries and a Pizza.
"Little help here?"
Gordie got up and put the pizza on the table and Chris ran with the bags to the room. "What ya doin, kid?" Chris said from his room. Gordie knew he wasnt mad, he was calling him things like kid, and brought home dinner.
"Watching a Godzilla picture. Wanna watch with me?" Gordie said as he sat down on the couch. "Is it the one where he fights the three headed dragon?" Chris said as he walked out into the main room.
"No, it's the one with the tiny women who pray to Mothra, it's pretty good."
Gordie then asked. "He fights a three headed dragon in one?"
—
It was late and the pizza was cold. Chris woke up. He fell asleep with Gordie in his lap. They talked about the monster pictures, and how there were new ones, such as a flying turtle monster, and one about a giant who fought a dragon with the guy from the Rebel/Johnny Yuma TV show. They fell asleep during the movie.
Chris gently nudged Gordie.
"Mmm." He said, waking up.
"Babe, its time for bed." Chris gently prodded him.
Gordie walked toward his room and then stopped.
Chris was walking to his own room and felt Gordie's hand pull his arm.
"What's wrong honey?" Chris asked him in a dulcet tone. And before he knew what happened, Gordie reached up and kissed him.
Chris picked him up high and kissed him back. Both were awake for the most part.
Gordie was high in the air. "Put me down, Chris" giggling all the while.
Chris did that and felt Gordie tug on him. Chris followed him into his room.
Gordie pulled off his own shirt and pants, Chris was surprised that Gordie did that so fast, then again, Gordie wasn't in the clothes he left the house in either. Chris threw the jacket in the corner, but didn't quite notice. Gordie unbuckled his pants and unbuttoned them. Gordie notice something dark on his left hip, but he could admire it later. When Chris became aware of it, Gordie took him in his mouth.
Chris tried not to stumble. "Whoa. Oh…" the tongue made his toes curl, he looked down, and Gordie was completely naked. "Holy shit…babe…"
Gordie was still busy with his mouth, but with his hands, undid Chris' shoelaces. Chris pulled off his shirt, kicked off his shoes once untied, and squirmed out of his tight blue jeans.
Gordie stopped and hopped on his bed. He sat in the corner and with his finger, beckoning him to come to him.
Chris said with a smile, "is it what you want?"
Gordie gave a look to him that answered the question.
Chris came to him, over him. His breath, that familiar smell of cigarette and mint gum perfumed Gordie's skin warmly. Gordie shuddered in a familiar pleasure, causing his skin to be prickly and hot. Gordie still smelled like lavender, to Chris the smell was like pure sugary bliss. Chris couldn't wait. He spit in his hand and in one swift motion, entered his lover. It was unusually easy, but Chris easily guessed that Gordie couldn't help but want it so bad that it became easy. Gordie resisted a little, naturally, but the noises coming out of Gordie made his body feel really warm.
He looked down. Gordie's eyes were in the back of his head. He moaned loudly. Chris put a hand over Gordie's mouth. He was loud, he forgot that. Everytime they did anything, Gordie would howl almost. Chris loved the feeling knowing he could do that to him.
All the pain, the hurt, the sadness…it melted away. All that was there was a fiery desire for each other.
One. Two. Three minutes passed. It was all they needed for both to finish. Gordie went first, a little on Chris, mostly on him. Chris, seeing all of this, feeling every thrust and pulse from Gordie, the scents of sweat, sex, and secretions, the taste of Gordie's skin as he licked him, and the moans of his lover, he couldn't anymore, and exploded, in a way he hadn't in a long time. Fifteen minutes was all it took for them to remember each other. Two and a half years since they last did this. It was still as good as it was then for both of them. Moonlit nights. Flowers, a lake or a bed, it didn't matter as long as he was there.
Gordie and Chris both slept so well that night. In each other's arms.
