TRUST IS FRAGILE
WOW: early and trust. Trust is fragile; Dean's trust issues especially so. Sam's not helping ...
Disclaimer: I don't own them

It had been very early in his life that Dean had lost his ability to trust.
For many well-documented reasons there were very few people in his life that he'd ever trusted implicitly. He'd even experienced trust issues with Sam from time to time, although he'd believed those were in the past now. He and Sam had been rubbing along nicely for years, bonding and growing closer and closer as time went on.
But this? This was as low as you can go; this was the ultimate betrayal. Unforgivable, in fact. Dean wasn't sure there would be any coming back from this.
Sam had got back from yesterday's supply run and carelessly dumped his gluten-free, vegan, high-fibre, low-salt, low-carb cookies in Dean's cookie jar without telling him. And Dean, thinking they were his, had accidentally bitten into one.
And now he was standing in the middle of the kitchen with a bulging mouthful of something that tasted like sawdust and rabbit turds.
Sam was going to have to work damn hard to make up for this one.
And Dean was going to have to work damn hard to try to swallow this garbage without choking.
