Gus was sitting around in his room, recording himself.
"Hello, fellow Hatetubers! I'm Gus Monkey, you're favorite monkey to hate." Gus smirked.
"Hey Gus." Wally smiled.
"Wally!" Gus shoved Wally aside.
"Hey, what gives?!" Wally asked.
"I'm the biggest sensation, if I keep this up I could get cash for being the most unlikable monkey on this website." Gus fluttered his eyes at the camera then purposefully picked his nose in front of it.
"Ooh, can I join your video? I can be hateable too." Wally asked.
"No, let the professional handle this." Gus shook his head.
"Maybe I can get my own account." Wally smiled. Gus grimaced and glared at Wally hard.
"Don't you DARE take this away from me!" Gus shook Wally a bit.
"Okay, okay, sheesh!" Wally groaned.
Wally tip-toed over to his computer to see a note taped above his computer. He ignored it and went to join Hatetube. He frowned when he noticed it was blocked. He looked at the slip of paper.
"I put a safety lock on your computer and changed your password. Thought you could pull a fast one on Gus, eh? You have the most predictable passwords. Love Gus." Wally's face turned red and he rushed towards Gus.
"Gus, you broke your promise!" Wally shouted.
"What promise?" Gus asked.
"That you would never be mean again, but you're not letting me join just because you want glory?!" Wally growled.
"Please don't be mad at me again." Gus sweated a little. "There's a different reason I swear!"
"I'm not mad at you… I'm DONE with you! Wally hissed, and then scampered away.
"You don't understand, I just…" Gus then remembered he still had the camera on. "Well… Thank goodness he's gone. But that's all for today, see you tomorrow!"
Gus turned off the camera and immediately sobbed.
"What's the matter?" YAY OK, his robot caretaker asked.
"I thought I could be rich and famous for being unlikable, but it got to Wally… I didn't mean for this to happen…" Gus teared up.
"Then why did you ask me to disable Hatetube for him?" YAY OK asked.
"Because, Hatetube may be great for my ticket to success… But it can be ruthless too. I didn't want Wally to get hurt…" Gus's lip quivered.
"Looks like you hurt him anyway." YAY OK sighed.
"You're right. I need to make this right." Gus vowed.
"Good luck. Wally is a stubborn monkey." YAY OK responded.
"Yeah…" Gus frowned.
In another part of the town, Wally hung his head as he walked.
"So, one little monkey all alone." Wally's head perked up as he saw Lord Peel, his arch nemesis.
"What do you want?" Wally spat.
"I just wanted to… Destroy you and everything." Lord Peel smirked.
"I'm not scared of you." Wally scowled. "I eat bananas for breakfast!"
"I'm not a banana!" Lord Peel growled. Wally was about to take a big bite out of him. Lord Peel cowered and put his hands in the way. "Don't eat me!!!"
Wally looked at the banana tearing up a little, Wally's heart sank when his dense mind finally realized, Lord Peel was this way because of him and Gus. They tormented this innocent man since they were young, just because they couldn't resist bananas or anything like a banana.
"Peel…" Wally sighed. "I… I'm sorry…"
"Why? Why should I forgive you? Or even trust you?" Lord Peel asked.
"I just want to make it up to you." Wally offered.
"Only revenge can satisfy me." Lord Peel argued, crossing his arms.
"I'm angry too." Wally narrowed his eyes. "Gus is the worst brother in the world, he apologizes and says he can be trusted, but he goes back to being rotten. I asked YAY-OK to do something about it but he won't listen. So how about a deal? We can get revenge on Gus together, and afterwards you can exact your revenge on me."
"That… That's the deal of a lifetime." Lord Peel grinned.
"Ooh! Maybe I can be your sidekick!" Wally's eyes sparkled. He took some random cloth and quickly made them into a costume that he quickly put on. A red and yellow costume. "I'll be… Lad Primate!"
"Perfect, that's… Almost impressive." Lord Peel admitted. "Now plan our revenge on Gus and his ridiculous friends!"
"You got it, boss!" Wally saluted, then both laughed out in a cliche evil tone.
"You may not be the worst sidekick ever." Lord Peel grinned. "Even if you try to lick or nibble me again."
"Same with you, boss." Wally nodded. "And I'll try to fight my monkey instincts for real this time."
"Doubt it, but it's a start." Lord Peel sighed.
