A/N: I've been having lots of ideas lately, too many that ideas for a new story that I can't focus on updating without creating them to life. I've got no excuses for my tardiness in creating story, as I do have a work which start from six in the morning till eight in the evening.

Anyway, this will be the third Kid Gintoki fanfiction setting, to which he will depart into the world where the Gods descended for enterntainment: Danmachi.

Now, Gintoki have bluish silver hair, which can be seen as white in real life, and that can comes to play to how I will have the characters react later. Same crimson eyes, only that Gintoki is slightly more dead in terms of emotion.

Anyhow, without further ado, let's enjoy the wild ride.

-Chapter Start-

In a country where the sun rises, a wasteland could be seen in the view of the screen. What littered among them were the corpses of Amantos and humans alike. What are Amantos, you ask? My, my… Basically, they're Aliens who invaded Earth and have gained a huge liking to this country, and the planet as a whole.

Aliens want the country, Shogun do not want to give, and so a war broke out.

It has been going on for years, showing no sign of stopping just yet as the carnage kept carrying on throughout the years. A decade or so later, this war would encounter four legendary figures, which brought and instilled a huge amount of terror within the enemy ranks, something awe and respect for their allies.

Alas, but not in this timeline, as one of them is brought to another whole country, nay, a whole new world for this boy to live in. In another, he would have been brought into a world where Demons walk amongst mankind, and another where he helped mankind survive against a dark threat.

In this one, he is brought into a world where the Gods have descended to the Lower World, to seek entertainment, to bring chaos, or perhaps for a change of scenery.

All three timelines have one similar outcomes, however,

He is brought before he could become the White Demon, he is brought to these worlds when he is known as The Corpse Eating Child just at the age of 12.

-Line Break-

Here, we enter a different view, a different world of the one we've spoken just now. The centre of the world, the city where Gods walked, Orario.

Also known as home to the two strongest Familias existence.

Familias? Well, we will have to go into further explanation for how things work. In this world, particularly in Orario, there is a place called the Dungeon, a place where the monsters never stop respawning. This Dungeon is a huge threat for Mankind, so the Gods who descended sealed it with the Tower of Babel, and Adventurers went down there to seek glory, fortune, or both.

Adventurers are humans blessed by the power of Falna, a God's gift to their children. Those who have been mark by a God's Falna will become their children, and will be bound to them. There's a rule however that should you decide not to follow your God anymore, you could convert to a new Familia though there's a time limit before you could do so.

Now, how do these Falna works and why only Adventurers blessed with one can go to the Dungeon? The monsters inside are dangerous and can cost you your life, your teammates, or both for the worst case scenario. Though there are monsters of the same breed from the Dungeon found outside, it's considerably weaker than the ones from said place.

As for a bonus information, the Dungeon is a living entity. The moment it could sense a God entering its domain, the place will be reek of hatred, for It hates no other than the Gods that descended the world. Monsters inside will be enhanced, strengthened just to kill these higher beings. What makes it worse for the Gods are that they cannot, under any circumstances, use their power lest they wish to return back to Tenkai, the world of the Gods.

The only power they're allowed to use is the power to grace their Falna onto a human, or other races.

Yes, there are different races, such as Dwarf, Elf, Cat person, etc.

And so, under no circumstances should a God enter the Dungeon, infact, it is banned and prohibited to do so.

Now, the difference between a blessed human and a non-blessed one. The difference is huge, considerably so, one would even struggle to even fight a Level 1 much less a Level 2 or higher.

For those with Falna, they can gather excelia (if you're gamer, experience points) through performing actions such as training, lifting, running, working out, but killing monsters from the Dungeon? It's more prolific to do so, as they made you to struggle. In a sense, the more you struggle, the more points you gained.

In the city of Orario, the strongest at the moment is a Level 7, an Adventurer that is under the banner of Freya Familia, one of the strongest, if not the strongest Familia.

Though in the past, Level 7 is a common occurrence, with Level 8 and even Level 9 roaming around, but we shall not transverse that path for now.

And so, our story start, when the main character successfully escaped from a Minotaur, considered a Level 2 Monster in strength.

-Line Break-

"WHAT IS A MINOTAUR DOING IN THE FIFTH FLOOR?!" Screamed a young boy at the age of 14, sprinting for his life as he chased by the very monster he mentioned. He have no time to look back if he wanted to live. He could only run, run, and run, for he is a measly weak Level 1 Adventurer who have only started about two weeks ago.

And even at that, no one was willing to take him, except a poor Goddess by the name of Hestia, who blessed him with her Falna so he is able to chase his dreams. At this very situation, he could see his life flashing before his eyes from the day he was a young boy, inspired by the heroic stories told by his grandfather, his dream to become a Hero, and his dream to perhaps save a girl from the Dungeon?

Those dreams could end and perhaps not even fulfilled, as he ran into a dead end. Despair took over his body, as he slowly turned around to see the raging Bull just arriving at him. His face turned pale, sweating hard as he could feel Death looming over him to take his life, and as if to diminish his spirit further, the fine axe in its grasp gleaming sharply.

One strike, one strike is all it takes and he will have to endure a Goddess crying over her first Child's death.

However, Fate have other plans for the young boy that is Bell Cranel.

Suddenly, a sword, which looks like a rapier, pierced through its thick hide, before it is cleaved entire in half, showering the white haired boy in its blood. However, despite the traumatic event, his eyes could see the beauty that saved him from Death's grasp.

A young woman, with blonde hair, graceful as the wind, her golden orbs contain a piercing stare as she looked over at him. With the boy saved, she sheathed her rapier, before trying to enquire about his wellbeing.

Unfortunately, before she could do such thing, a young boy who struggled with puberty did what boys his age have done.

His face blossom in red, embarrassment colouring his expression, before he turned away and sprinted, if one was imagining, even faster than when the dead Minotaur chased him few moments ago. As he escaped from her, he did not notice the crestfallen expression she had on her as he ran away.

-Line Break-

"That was close! Who is that girl anyway? She's so pretty…" Bell muttered as he kept on running through the Dungeon to the upper floors, to get back to the surface, currently on the third floor, which showcase his speed to cover that distance in such a short time (for a Level 1).

However, he ran into a peculiar sight, as if he encountered a deadly past.

Right in front of him, he noticed a young boy, perhaps his age if not younger. That didn't really catch him off guard as there are Adventurers even younger than he is, just to make a living. What catch his eyes however, is how similar they looked in a way. While his hair is white as the now, the boy in front of him is a bluish silver, marred with dust and soil. Their eyes are of similar colour, yet he could not imagine what the boy have endured to have those eyes.

Instead of the bright shining colour, his seem to be dead, no emotions visible for him to discern what he is feeling. One could say the eyes are window to the soul, so if someone could have eyes as dead as his, could he be dead inside?

"A-Are you alright?" As he asked those, he stopped before he could approach further as the boy pointed his sword straight at him. Bell glanced around to see if there's monsters around him, and confirmed that the sword is pointed right at him. He then gulped his nervousness away, before his eyes widened as he finally took notice of their surroundings.

It seems he had tunnel vision as he was sprinting from the Fifth Floor.

Surrounding him were mountains of corpses. Goblins, and Kobolds, monsters commonly spawned from the first floor and beyond, littered among them. Bell could only gape in shock at some of the state the corpses were in, as some were missing their head, limbs, and even cleaved in two.

'And he did that with that dull sword?!'

Indeed, the sword in the boy's hand is dulled, jagged and worn out from its use. Yet, somehow he managed to slaughter the monsters that were in this room using that very same sword. Bell took notice that the sword is the same design most Adventurers that hail from the Far East commonly used. If he remembered correctly, they called it katana though there are other varieties of it.

"GRAAAAA!" A scream of a monster caught Bell's attention as two green figures behind the boy lunged at the latter.

"LOOK OUT!" Bell was ready to help him out, yet before he could, the boy reacted faster than he could. Seconds ago, that sword was pointed at him with the aim to prevent him from coming closer, now, it was aimed to kill.

Suddenly, the eyes that were so dead, shone to life, his instincts to survive immediately flaring up, showing his will to live on. Side stepping the attack from the two small creatures, the young boy immediately launched himself straight to the monsters. As they were still caught off guard by his fast reflexes, he grabbed one by its throat, choking the life out of it before throwing him aside. The other growled at seeing its brethren cast away so carelessly, pouncing at him with its claws. He immediately narrowed his eyes, completely focused in the battle lest he want to lose his life. He deflected the strike, sparks erupted as the jagged steel met against the sharp claws of the Goblin. Showcasing a strength no normal boy his age should have, he parried it away before moving to its side, and swung downward on the creature's back. Crimson liquid painted the air, as its blood was shed from the strike he caused. The Goblin could only scream out in pain, before eternally silenced as its throat was pierced through the back of its nape, choking on its own blood before the life escaped its eyes.

Not forgetting for the one he casted aside earlier, he turned around just in time to see it is already right in front of him, claws poised to strike him. He realized he could guard in time, and so, carelessly even, he brought his arm up, sharp pain erupted straight away from his veins, tearing the flesh yet not enough to cut it off. But the pain is good, it told him that he is still alive.

And he can make the bastard pay for it.

"NO!" Before he could have his revenge, Bell struck forward, killing the Goblin instantly by a stab through its heart, destroying the Magic Stones inside them in the process. The boy was shocked to see him move to defend him, as usually, they would strike at him, aiming to kill him just to get an expired if not spoiled food.

And yet, he saw Bell cried out in concern as the Goblin struck his forearm, now bleeding heavily, as also his body that was hit earlier before the older boy arrived. He was so shocked that he didn't even realize the injured hand was grabbed by him,

"Are you alright? Don't worry, I will carry you back to your Familia." Unfortunately, Bell didn't have any Potions left to cure the younger boy. He looked through his injuries, checking if he is bleeding heavily, and was relieved to see that there's no deep wounds that can cause immediate blood loss from moving. Nodding to his head, he immediately turned his back to young boy, before crouching down to his knees.

"….." Safe to say, he is speechless to see what Bell is doing at the moment. Is he offering him a ride?

"Hop up, um… what's your name?" He chuckled sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head as he never knew what the name of this skilled boy at all.

"G-Gintoki… Sakata Gintoki…" The boy, now known as Gintoki, muttered quietly before reluctantly accept the hug offered by Bell. The latter visibly glow with relief as Gintoki get on his back, with Bell wrapping his arms around his legs to his waist securely so he will not fall.

"Nice to meet you, Sakata-san. Though I hope it's not under this circumstances.." Bell muttered the later part quietly, before beginning to run through once again, careful not to worsen the injuries that were marring Gintoki's body.

As for the younger boy, he could only nod dumbly, oddly finding comfort in how the older boy scooped him up on his back, just because he is injured. What's even stranger, is the fact that he could walk properly, even keeping up with him perhaps, injured as he is. Yet, he merely accepted the offered ride, hesitating as he may have been.

Perhaps, it's his eyes? Throughout his life, Gintoki never seen someone's eyes glowing those kind of light before. It made him warm, and somehow… comfortable.

"Idiot…" He muttered quietly, though he is sure Bell could hear him anyway, not that he knew his name, snuggling his head on the crook of the older boy's head.

Another sheepish chuckle was the only answer he received from him.

-Line Break-

While the two boys were having their time going back to the surface, at the same time, or perhaps, a little later, groups of Adventurers were standing in shock of the area they were in. Among these Adventurers, a familiar one is seen, being the blonde girl that saved Bell just moments ago.

Standing ahead of them however, is a short man, though he have the appearance of a young boy. This man is a demi human of short people, called the Pallums. They're considered the weakest race among humans, but they have excellent sight for night time. This particular Pallum however, is perhaps one of the, if not the strongest Pallum, a high Level 6 Adventurer under the banner of Loki Familia. He observed the surroundings, the exact area where two white haired boys were in earlier.

"Captain, who would killed all these Monsters without destroying the Magic Stone?" a feminine voice spoke out, as she get into view alongside the Captain of Loki Familia. She bears a tanned skin, showing her race that is the Amazoness, a race that is only women, considerably stronger than the other races.

Four more figures entered the fray alongside their Captain. One is a short middle aged man yet not a Pallum, this one is a Dwarf. A race of short people, though there can be exception, powerful enough that they can take out the monsters from the floor they're in even without Falna. Most people would stereotype them as miners, or even blacksmiths due to how proficient they are in those arts.

The next is the same figure as the Amazoness as earlier, having the same face, and showing that they're twins, though there are a big difference especially in the chest area. The next one is a tall girl with regal and graceful air around her. A hair of jade which elongates till her mid back, and long pointy ears. A High Elf, a race that is very proficient in the art of Magics. And of course, the blonde who saved Bell earlier.

With the exception of the Dwarf and the High Elf, the rest are all level 5, while the two formers are Level 6, the same as their Captain.

"Hard to say, what's even interesting is the way they killed the Goblins and Kobolds…" Their Captain, Level 6, Finn Deime muttered.

"It's a little brutal for monsters that hail from the upper floors… And the wounds on the Goblins…" The High Elf trailed off her words, a Level 6 name Riveria Ljos Alf.

"It's like they killed the Goblins like they're fighting a human. Makes sense considering they're one of the most humanoid monsters in the dungeon." The Dwarf continued her thoughts for her, as Gareth Landrock stroked his beard.

"Though it's a little too brutal, at least it works right?" The younger twin of the Amazoness nonchalantly spoke, shrugging her shoulders to prove her point further, while her twin could only sighed in exasperation. "Though, what's not efficient is to kill them without taking the Magic Stones or destroying them."

As she said that, the corps that littered amongst them then dissipates, as their Magic Stones were finally destroyed. To explain one of the rules when travelling in the Dungeon, and it's one of the important ones too.

When killing a monster, make sure to take the Magic Stone or destroy it. If other monsters were to eat it, they could become stronger and even achieved an enhanced state.

The blonde girl remained silent throughout their discussion about the way the monsters were murdered, as she kept pondering about the boy she have saved and whether he have made it safely to the surface.

And before the author forgot, to introduce the figures. Except the already introduced one, the twins (from older to younger), Tione and Tiona, and of course, Ais Wallenstein.

She immediately looked up, before muttering a quick prayer for the boy.

She got a job to do with her Familia regarding this mess.

-Line Break-

Two boys were sitting on a stool while facing an enraged woman. One is a total wreck of emotions, while the other is a complete poker face. In front of them, is a Half-Elf girl, who is currently glaring at them with a furious gaze. Crossing her arms under her moderate bust, she then spoke out, emphasizing each point.

"So, let's get this straight starting with you, Bell."

"Yes, Miss Eina."

"You were on the Fifth Floor, on your second week of adventuring nonetheless, which I specifically told you not to do so, and encountered a Minotaur on the same floor?"

"Yes, Miss Eina."

"And you, Sakata, were on the third floor, without any memories of how and why were there, without a Falna, and slaughtered the monsters that spawned there?"

"Mhm…"

Safe to say, after making it out of the Dungeon, they were getting quite the stares. With Bell soaking red from the Minotaur blood, while giving a boy his age (at least to the bystanders) if not younger a piggyback ride, with injuries. It scared the life out of Eina Tulle, the Half-Elf who's currently giving them a good solid one hour of scolding of what an Adventurer should not do.

Particularly, an Adventurer should not go to an adventure.

And perhaps the most important, do NOT enter the Dungeon without a Falna. Though they're allowed to enter without it, it is common sense to at least have the blessings of a God. Traversing the Dungeon without a Falna is like going to a public place naked as the day they were born.

After the scolding she's been giving them, she finally relented and let out a long sigh. "So, do you have a place to stay at, Sakata?"

Gintoki shook his head before replying, "No, and my name is not Sakata, its Gintoki."

"Ah, right. Far Eastern always introduce themselves by their last name first."

"Even though our Church is pretty run down, I'm sure that one more person should not be a problem." Bell added his own cents to their current dilemma, that being Gintoki without having a place to stay.

Unknown to them, however, he's pretty much used to sleep on the wild, uneven grounds, a place littered with corpses, you name it.

"Oh, and Gintoki, if you plan to go down the Dungeon, you will need a new weapon." The sudden call of his name brought the fore mentioned boy to her, before tilting his head in confusion. "According to what Bell have told me, your blade is pretty much worn out and jagged."

"But, I've killed those uglies.."

"It doesn't matter, you will need a new one regardless."

The younger boy in the room looked a little dejected from the truth. To be honest, it's not even his sword, so he shouldn't be worrying about losing it. It was a blade he stole off a dead man, anyway.

In a way, he supposed it's the fact that it is was one of the reason that kept him alive all this time, and he felt indebted to it.

"Your needs for a new blade aside, I think it is time for you to return to your Goddess, Bell. I'm sure she's very worried about you."

With her dismissal, Bell immediately stood up and Gintoki like a lost puppy, did the same before copying what the older boy is doing. As Bell bowed to the Half-Elf, he did the same as well, though without the words that came out to the former's mouth. "We're sorry to worry you so much, Miss Eina."

"I will accept that apology if you learn from your mistake and stop before going beyond what your level can handle." Eina sighed, though there's an affectionate smile gracing her lips.

Truth be told, an Advisor like Eina, who worked for The Guild, should not involve themselves with the Adventurers they're tasked to, but the Half-Elf had an Adventurer once, before it multiplies, that did not come back out alive. So from then on, she swore to teach any Adventurers that came under her watch as best as she could.

Bell could only sheepishly laughed to her words, rubbing the back of his head before leading Gintoki out of the room. Now, he just needed to endure the overprotective nature of his Goddess.

The Goddess of Hearth and Family always care for her child after all.

As they said, out of the frying pan and straight into the fire.

-Line Break-

The walk from The Guild to the church where he is staying isn't that far out, to be fair. Though it took them a solid ten to fifteen minutes due to Gintoki suddenly staying still one he took notice of the demi humans. Bell at the time, start to panic as the younger boy's hand would clenched tightly on the hilt of his sword, as if to strike any of the non-human races should they come any closer to him.

A good solid moment where Bell would hug Gintoki, whispering comforting words, and once the later calmed down, he told them that they're just people with bonus appendages such as tail, horns, etc. The way he act, looked as if Gintoki never met any demi humans, or rather, demi humans that he met before appearing on the Dungeon seek to harm him, and seeing them triggered some sort of trauma the younger boy may carried.

Regardless, after all that happened, they finally got to their location. Bell is rather worried for how his Goddess may reacted, while Gintoki remained impassive from the outside. His eyes however, focus on what's behind the door and what will greet them. He waited and waited for anything to come out, but it was for nothing, as Bell barged inside without a care.

"Goddess, I'm home!"

With a declaration of his return, he gave Gintoki a smile, before motioning him to come inside, to which the latter nodded his head and followed in. He's not one to judge of one's own home, considering he never had one to begin with. So for him, staying under a roof of a rundown church is way better than not being under one.

Suddenly, the sound of footsteps entered his hearing, his hand immediately reaching for his blade, but Bell stopped him with a shake of his head, muttering that it will be fine. As the sounds went into silence, the cause of it have appeared in their view.

Standing at a height that is shorter than Bell, but barely equal to Gintoki, was the Goddess of the Hestia Familia. Her blue sapphire eyes gleaming with relief, a wide smile gracing her lips as she immediately lunged to engulf Bell in a tight hug. Knowing it is personal, the younger boy stepped away to make room for the two, his eyes uncertain of what to do, especially after the sound of Hestia's quiet sobbing.

"It's fine, Goddess. I promised that I will always come back, didn't I?" Bell comforted the crying Goddess, his hand rubbing a soothing circle on her back, and it is effective, as she started to calm down slightly. After a good moment, she finally relented, her tears no longer falling, yet it's visible on her eyes as she looked over to him. "All better?"

"Y-Yeah… Can you tell me what happened, Bell?" She then glanced and noticed the extra presence within their abode. Realizing that he bore witnessed to the embarrassing moments earlier, Hestia's cheeks flushed a crimson shade. "A-And who is this?"

"Of course I will! And this is Sakata Gintoki!" Bell introduced the aforementioned young boy to his Goddess, which he only nodded his head reluctantly. However, Hestia remained silent for a moment after the introduction, as she took a good look at Gintoki. "Goddess?"

"Is he your brother, Bell?"

"No, Goddess. Besides, his hair is more of a bluish silver than white like mine."

"He really looked like you…" She trailed off for a bit, as her attention is focused solely on Gintoki, which her eyes then looked a little sympathizing. She could see the loneliness, the pain and hardship he went through just from his eyes. Shaking her head out of her thoughts, she kneeled in front of him, a gentle smile on her face as she brought her hand out to him, "My name is Hestia, a Goddess. Nice to meet you, Gintoki!"

The Corpse Eating Demon looked rather distraught, but after noticing an encouraging smile from Bell, he took the hand of the Goddess, shaking it. He nodded his head to her, as if saying it is also a pleasure to meet her, which the Goddess merely giggled before something he did not expected to happen. She brought her hand to his head, rubbing it as her soft fingers are running through his dirty yet soft silver hair. Instead of feeling alarmed, which he did at first as she approached, the touch of her hand made him felt at peace, his eyes closing as he never have someone interacted with him in this sort of way.

"Gintoki," Now that he realized it, ever since arriving here, she's the first one not to mistake using Sakata as his given name. "Would you like to join my Familia?"

"Familia?" The term was unfamiliar to him, as indicated by the tilt of his head as he is rather confused.

"It's a band of Adventurers, where the humans are blessed by the Falna of a God. Blessed humans are exceptionally stronger than those without it. Though it doesn't look comfortable living here, I will make sure to properly take care of you."

To be honest, the offer is rather tempting. What she said is true, their current home is rather uncomfortable and unsafe, yet it's probably the most comfy place he would ever sleep in. Deciding to trust her words, as she is trusted by Bell, he nodded his head.

"Then it's settled, we're having a new member, Bell!"

"Hooooorayyyyy!" The two of them immediately started to jump up and down, looking rather excited by the prospect of having a new member.

"What do I need to do?"

"That's quite simple, Gintoki." Hestia answered. "As I need to drop the Falna on your back, you will have to be shirtless for me to do it." Hesitantly, Gintoki stripped his upper fabric off his body, revealing his rather unhealthy physicality. He is lacking in nourishment, and not to mentioned covered in bruises and fading scars.

"What's next?"

Deciding it to be the best, Hestia remained silent about the state of his body, particularly where did he get those scars from. She motioned him to come with him, Bell following along as they went inside to the room where they would recover their strength through sleep. She pointed her finger to the bed, which Gintoki nodded his head, taking a seat on it. Grabbing a knife, Hestia then went her way over his back, taking a seat before slicing her finger for her blood to leak out.

"This will feel weird for a moment." Even with the warning, Gintoki nodded his head and with that, Hestia dropped her blood to bless him with her Falna. The room straight away glowing with a bright light from the blessing, as ancient markings spread around his back. Taking a piece of paper, the Goddess of Hearth and Family applied it on his back, copying the stats on his back before taking it off. As she flipped it over, she began to read, and as she did so, her eyes widened considerably, while her hands are shaking.

"Goddess?" Bell asked out, concern for how she suddenly acted.

-End-

A/N: No references so far. Anyway, I forgot if Hestia cried when Bell returned after the Minotaur incident, but due to being caught with witnessing Gintoki slaughtering the goblins, and reprimanded by Eina, he is away for quite some time.

As for making Gintoki too op, no, he is only able to fight Goblins and Kobolds without Falna because of his willpower to survive. But if he was to fight something like War Shadow, Killer Ant, etc, he would struggle because of his lack of Falna and his dull sword.

I'm not sure its rushed or not, I've been out of the writing game for so long, and I'm not sure if this is just a last hurrah or an attempt to return.

I hope ya all safe and if someone from Turkey is reading this, please be safe!
