Ceci Masters/Ceci Spirit and her world are the creative property of Specter14. I've permission to use them.
Danny was exhausted beyond belief. His brain hurt from all the last-minute cramming they'd done after his older sister had returned the witch ghost, Twiggy, back to Peace Valley. Danny knew even though he wanted to drop dead; he wouldn't unless he wrote down his thoughts. He'd found it exceptionally beneficial to keep a journal. But, again, he didn't want anyone to know he'd been keeping a journal.
He quickly extracted his journal from its hiding place before rapidly starting to write his racing thoughts."Well, neither I nor my older sister Ceci can catch a break. I never expect Clockwork or the rest of the Ancients to charge six teenagers with the responsibility of keeping the multiverse intact.
I wish I knew who decided to screw my sister and me over. We've had it hard enough between family, friends, school, and regular ghost-hunting duties! We didn't sign up for this, yet we got saddled with this.
I've been thinking about what Desiree said after Ceci took Twiggy back home, that I'm fortunate to have my sister in my life. Although we're literally worlds apart, we've forged a strong bond. I also can't help but feel empathy for Desiree and Boxy. All they needed to make their lives complete was a friend. Is that what all ghosts desire? Just a friend? Do they have desires beyond their obsessions?
I never considered how much spirits had in common with humans. We might not harbor the same capabilities. However, we have identical necessities. We desire family, friendship, attention, and praise. In short? We all wanted to be loved and cared about. So it's safe to say ghosts are social creatures like humans.
Jazz would have field day psychoanalyzing the whole thing. I'm positive she'd diagnose Twiggy with bipolar. Although, to be fair, from what Ceci said, I firmly believe Twiggy is bipolar. Additionally, we'd all do better if we all got the mental health we needed. Or if we had better opportunities to make friends. However, can individuals like my parents overcome their blind racism and treat them as equals? After all, we all deserve to be treated with intelligence and dignity.
Both my sister and I need to have a serious discussion with our parents and the Ancients if things are ultimately going to improve. Even after we fix this multiverse crisis, we have far more critical issues to address. Everything will stay the same unless Ceci and I start being the bridge between the worlds—both our worlds and the Ghost Zone, for we alone can bring about a new age of peace and help everyone co-exist.
Still, that will have to wait for another day. I can't fail another quiz! With the fate of the multiverse on my shoulders, I can't serve a week's detention! So need to get some shuteye." with that, he concealed his journal again. Then he, too, started sleeping like a newly buried corpse!
