"You alright there?"

Xion perked her gaze up upon hearing the voice which had spoken to her. She turned around to see she was no longer alone at the station clock tower. A certain someone had arrived to join her - and she immediately felt better for seeing him.

"Hi, Roxas," she murmured, smiling softly.

Roxas made his way over to where Xion was sitting. He sat beside her on the edge that overlooked the entirety of Twilight Town in its never-ending sunset atmosphere. The blonde boy shuffled across until he was right beside the dark-haired girl.

"You feeling okay?" he asked.

Xion nodded silently.

"Are you sure, Xion?" Roxas raised an eyebrow. "You seem a bit quieter than usual. What's on your mind?"

Xion directed her gaze towards Roxas, her blue eyes shining at him.

"It's just that I missed you today."

"Missed me?" Roxas uttered with a blink.

"Uh huh. I didn't get to see you this morning, and the Organization sent me to do a mission without you. I was all on my own today - which made me feel so lonely without you."

Roxas stared in bewilderment. He was astonished to hear that Xion valued his company. He had no idea his absence affected her so much.

"That's why as soon as I completed my assignment, I came straight here. I knew that if I found you anywhere, it would be here." Xion's smiled softened. "Looks like I was right."

Roxas chuckled. It was moments like this when Xion proved herself to be smarter than she gave herself credit for. He was astonished that she had come to the spot where they usually hung out - just to see him.

"Well that's funny," he laughed. "Because you're the very person I was hoping to find up here."

"I am?" Xion asked, humbled.

"Uh huh. Otherwise what would I do with this?"

Roxas' hand appeared from behind his back, resulting, resulting in a soft gasp escaping from Xion when she saw what he was holding out towards her.

The boy grinned at the girl's reaction. "No visit up this tower of ours would be complete without this, would it?"

Xion smiled as she took the object Roxas was giving her. She held it by the wooden stick before nibbling it softly. A contented drifted out of her over the sweet taste of sea salt ice cream filled her mouth.

"Thank you, Roxas," she whispered gratefully.

"No need to thank me. Who else will I have ice cream with?" Roxas lifted a hand to place it onto Xion's shoulder. "Apart from my little sister?!"

Xion froze, her hand halting on its way to take the ice cream to her lips. Her eyes widening with astonishment. What Roxas had said about wanting to share ice cream with no one but her was something he had told her in the past.

He had never before, however, addressed her how he had just done so - which managed to have an intense impact on the small girl.

Forgetting her ice cream for the moment, Xion stared towards Roxas. Her mouth hung open at him as the last three words he'd said echoed in her head.

"My little sister… My little sister… My little sister…"

The more it replayed in her mind, the more Xion realised what Roxas had called her made sense. Aside from Axel, there was no one else in Organization XIII who she was so close to. The pair of them were inseparable, going on assignments together and spending their free time in one another's company. They were always looking out for each other, sharing secrets and always laughing. The bond between them was more than just being members of the Organization. It was something very special shared between only the two of them.

Xion's lips curled back up into a smile. She very much liked the idea of having a big brother - and she couldn't ask for a better one than the very person by her side.

"Xion?" Roxas exclaimed, not hiding how quiet the girl was going once again. "You okay?"

As she sent the smile on her face towards him, Xion leaned over towards Roxas - to wrap her arms around him and pull him into a tight hug.

"Hey!" Roxas cried in surprise. "What's this for?"

"This is just to show you…that I love you…" Xion closed her eyes, still smiling as she happily rested her head onto Roxas' chest. "Big brother…"

Roxas blinked and smiled. He was very happy to hear Xion had accepted the idea of the two of them being siblings. He wound his own arms around her, holding her closely in his protective embrace.

"I love you too," he said sincerely, running his gloved hand through her black hair. "Little sister…"

Xion sighed at the feeling of her hair being stroked. She felt so warm and safe in the boy's arms. She knew nothing terrible would ever happen to her as long as he was around. She knew she could depend on him … as he had proven time and time again.

How happy and grateful Xion felt to have Roxas as her big brother.
