Chapter 1: The boy from another world. The start of an incredible journey.

A boy in his early teens was walking through a dense forest. He wore blue jeans and a white shirt. And wore black sneakers. The boy in question had a confused look as he took in his surroundings.

"Where the heck am I? I know I went to sleep last night."

Did someone kidnap him from his home and drop him off in some random forest?

The teen sighed. "Just my luck. Of all the places I get stranded, it had to be a dense forest. Why not the beach or a luxurious hotel."

The boy sighed again. "And what's worse. I don't recognize anything familiar about this forest. Am I still in Tervuren? Or am I somewhere else?"

The boy took his Cellphone and frowned. "Damm, no signal whatsoever. This sucks." The boy shrugged his shoulders. "Oh well. The only thing I can do for now is to keep walking. I have to reach civilization or at least an area where my phone will work."

The boy kept walking.

Suddenly, the boy heard a rustle in the bushes.

The young teen swallowed nervously. "Oh crap, maybe it's those people who kidnapped him. Or worse, a wild animal."

When the culprit revealed himself from his hiding place. The young boy known as Wouter widened his eyes in shock. His mouth was wide open in amazement.

"What the hell...? Is that a tiger?"

Normally, any normal person would run away in fright when they see a tiger. Especially a young teen like him. But the reason why Wouter was so amazed at the creature that stood before him. It was no normal-looking tiger. The beast had yellow fur and stood like any normal-looking tiger on four legs. But what really caught Wouter's eyes were the large teeth of the creature. They were abnormally large. This was no normal tiger. No, it was a Sabertooth tiger. But that wasn't possible. They have gone extinct around... Well, a long time ago. Was this a dream?

The teen pinched his cheek. "Auw. Ok, so I'm still awake. Then, how is this possible?"

The teen was interrupted from his daydreaming when he heard the tiger growl at him.

Wouter swallowed nervously. "Oh man, dream or no dream. I have to get out of here."

Easier said than done. The young teen was terrified of the creature. And his body wouldn't respond.

"C'mon body, move," thought the young teen.

The tiger suddenly let out a different kind of noise. Wouter came out of his scared emotional state. It sounded like the creature before him was in a lot of pain. His dog did the same thing whenever he got hurt. Wouter looked at the Sabercat with great detail. The creature was licking his paw. Animals did that to soften their pain. Well, that's what he heard, at least.

Wouter took one step forward. "Hey? Are you hurt? If you want, I can maybe help you."

The tiger gave the boy his full attention. After gazing at the teen with a hesitant look, it nodded.

Amazing, the creature understood him.

Wouter slowly walked towards the tiger. He crouched in front the creature.

"Can I look at your paw, please?"

The creature, after a bit of thinking. Decided to allow it. Wouter took the Saber cat's paw in his hand. The creature flinched in pain. The teen immediately saw the problem. A large splinter was stuck between two claws. Must have been when he rustled through those bushes. His dog did the same thing. It was her favorite thing to do. As long as she could find bushes, Obi was one happy dog. Though, just like the tiger before him. Obi always seemed to acquire some kind of injury. Sometimes a wound, a splinter like the sabercat that stood in front of him. And sometimes even a tick. Those were a real pain to deal with. But a splinter was easy enough to remove.

"Don't worry, buddy. I'll take care of it."

With ease, the boy removed the splinter from the creature.

"There, that should do it."

The tiger was happy beyond belief. And to show his appreciation, the creature began to lick the teen's face.

Wouter laughed. "Hey, easy boy. I'm glad you're happy. But you're getting drool all over my face."

The tiger understood the teen's words and stopped slobbering his face.

The boy stood up. "Say, do you happen to know where the closest city is located? I'm kinda lost."

The saber cat nodded in agreement. And showed Wouter the way. After a few minutes of traveling, they finally reached a small town.

Wouter was confused. "What the? I never saw houses built like that before. In what kind of village did I end up? I have a feeling I'm not in Tervuren anymore. Heck, I may not be in Belgium altogether."

Where the hell was he?

Wouter saw an elderly woman walking towards him. Maybe I can ask her?

("Excuseer mevrouw. Ik ben verdwaald. Zou u me vriendelijk kunnen zeggen waar ik ben?")

The woman looked confused at the young teen. "Sorry young man. I can't understand a thing you're saying."

Wouter chuckled. Whoops. Looks like this woman spoke English.

"Sorry about that. I didn't know you spoke English. I seem to have lost my way. Do you perhaps know where I am?"

The woman chuckled. "What other language is there than English sonny. And as for your other question..."

the woman stopped suddenly and gained a scared look.

Wouter was confused. "Uh, mam. Are you okay?"

The woman pointed behind the teen. "Be careful, boy. There's a Sabertooth tiger behind you."

The teen looked behind him. "Oh, I know. Don't worry about him. I befriended him, and he was kind enough to show me the way here."

The woman let out a breath of relief. "Oh, is that right? That's something else. Most people I know are too terrified to approach a SaberTooth tiger. Let alone befriend them."

Wouter chuckled. "Yeah, I was terrified of him too at first. But he was hurt, and after I fixed him up. He and I became good friends."

The tiger was purring as the teen stroked his head.

"I see," said the woman with a smile.

There was a short moment of silence as the woman marveled at the rare sight before her. Until she remembered the question the boy had asked her.

"Oh, right. You wanted to know where you are, right?"

Wouter nodded.

"You're currently in Gyackio Village. About 500 miles NorthWest of East City."

Wouter looked confused at the woman's words. "Gyackio City? East City? I have never heard of those places before. Is it anywhere close to a city called Tervuren?"

Now the woman was looking at the boy with a confused look. Uh", sonny. I'm sorry. But I never have heard about a City with that name before."

"What! But Tervuren is a very well-known place. At least in Vlaams-Brabant."

The woman tried to pronounce the foreign word.

"Vlems, what now?"

The boy was shocked beyond belief. Not knowing about Tervuren was one thing. But not knowing Vlaams-Brabant? Even little kids knew that. Well, kids who lived in the area of course.

"Please tell me you know about Belgium."

But the woman shook her head. "I'm afraid not, sonny."

"What about Europe," said the teen in fright. "Please tell me you know it."

But the woman shook her head again in a no gesture.

Wouter fell on his knees in despair. Not knowing about Tervuren, that he could understand. Not knowing about Vlaams-Brabant, was also understandable. Especially if you were from a different country. But not knowing what Belgium or Europe was? That was like saying... You do not know what the Sun is. Belgium may be a small country. But it was still very well known. Their health care was top-notch. Only outshined by 8 other countries. Their school education was also very well known. One of the most affordable countries to let your children have a good education.

The Capital of Belgium, Brussels, was also known around the world. It was the home of NATO headquarters, the EU commission, and The European Parliament. It had famous and historical sites. Like manneken pis, the grand place, the Atomium. Belgium was also known for its food. Like fries, chocolate, and not mention waffles. (And their beer, of course.)

Europe is known worldwide. It is described as a peninsula of peninsulas. A piece of land surrounded by water on three sides. It is bordered by the Arctic Ocean to the North. The Atlantic Ocean to the West. And the Mediterranean, Black, And Caspian seas to the South. Europe's main peninsulas are the Iberian, Italian, and Balkan, located in southern Europe, and the Scandinavian and Jutland, located in northern Europe. The link between these peninsulas has made Europe a dominant economic, social, and cultural force throughout recorded history. So yeah. If you don't know what Europe is. You're either a moron, or you didn't get the standard education that normal people get. But this woman before him looked to be a very knowledgeable person in his eyes. If this woman didn't know what Europe was. Then that means he either was still asleep. Or he somehow got transported to another world entirely. Or maybe he somehow managed to travel to the past? That would explain the Sabertooth cat.

Okay, now he started to sound like one of those crazy people he saw on Tv many years ago. About how the world was about to end in 2012. They talked about some prophecy from the Maya culture, whatever that meant. Luckily that never happened.

Wouter sighed. "Where the hell am I?"

The woman looked at the young teen with a sad look. "Do wish to see a map? Maybe you will be able to see where your home is."

The teen nodded.

"Follow me then."

Wouter stood up and followed the woman with his Sabertooth cat following behind him. He got friendly greetings from all the people who passed by them. It was a small and peaceful village. The scenery reminded him a lot of one of those villages from those tales games he always played. Tales of Vesperia was his favorite by far. The plot and character development of some personages were really amazing.

They arrived at the woman's house. A teenage girl who looked to be a few years older than him. Was sitting in a chair while reading a book.

The young woman looked up. "Oh, grandma. You're back quickly. You normally stay away a lot longer when you take your walks around the village."

The woman sighed. "Really, Anna. This is not how we raised you. Can't you see we have a guest?"

The 16-year-old girl looked in Wouter's direction. She blushed in embarrassment. "Oh, sorry. I didn't see you."

The girl stood up and bowed in greeting. "Hello there. My name is Anna. Nice to meet you."

The boy chuckled. "Nice to meet you too. My name is Wouter. But you don't have to bow. I'm not one for formalities."

The young girl grinned. "Oh, that's a relief. To be honest, it's not really my cup of tea too."

When the girl saw the boy's companion. She immediately fell in love with it.

"Oh, what a cute fellow. What's his name?"

Wouter chuckled at the girl's positive attitude. "Well, he doesn't have a name yet. We just met in the forest a while ago. Though, I did give it some thought. What about Saber?"(Don't judge me, people. I am very tired, and this was the easiest name I could come up with.)

The tiger in question wiggled his tail in happiness.

The girl chuckled. "Well, it seems he approves of the name."

"Yeah, seems like it," said Wouter with a grin.

The elderly woman smiled at the two teens. "They sure are getting along with each other." she thought.

"Now, let me get that map for you. I'll be back in a second, ok?"

Wouter nodded with a smile. "Thank you, mam."

Hey, he may not be a great example of manners and etiquette. But his parents always told him to respect his elders.

The woman smiled. "Anna, be a dear and make some tea for our guest."

The girl nodded. "Will do."

"You don't have to go through all that trouble, Miss."

Anna chuckled. "First of all, don't call me Miss. We're almost the same age. Just call me Anna, okay?"

The boy nodded with a chuckle.

"And second, it's no trouble at all. Besides, you're not from around here. So you have try the special blend of tea we make here. You won't find it anywhere else," said the girl with a smile.

Wouter blushed. "Uh, ok. I take your word for it."

The girl giggled and walked towards the kitchen to prepare some tea.

The boy shook his head from his thoughts. "Get it together, Wouter. She is just making some tea. Not asking you out."

"Hey, take a seat at the kitchen table. It will be a while before it's ready."

The boy nodded. And sat down.

"So, where are you from? You're not from these parts. So you must came from East City."

Wouter shook his head. "No, I'm from a town called Tervuren. It's located in the province of Vlaams-Brabant. In a country called Belgium."

The teenage girl gained a confused look. "I never heard of either of those places. Is it far away from here?"

Wouter sighed sadly. "I don't know. I remembered getting to bed last night. And when I woke up I found myself in this huge forest."

The girl gave Wouter a surprised look. "So, thus, that means you are lost?"

The teen nodded. "Yes, if it wasn't for Saber here. I may have never found this village."

Thé Sabertooth cat who was sitting next to him had a proud look on his face.

"I'm sorry that happened to you. Do you have any idea how it happened?"

Wouter frowned. "No, I don't. At first, I thought I was kidnapped. But why would someone kidnap me just to drop me off in some random forest? Without stealing any of my possessions. As a matter of fact, I still wore my nightwear. There is no way to explain why those people would kidnap me and then dress me up in my everyday clothes."

"Yeah, that really doesn't make any sense to me either. And what valuables did you have when you woke up?"

"My phone, my wallet, and some gum."

The girl giggled at the last part. "Did you try calling your parents?"

"Of course I did," said Wouter with a sigh. "But for some reason, my phone won't work. It has no signal whatsoever."

"That's certainly strange. May I see your phone for a bit?"

Wouter nodded and gave his cell phone to Anna.

The girl was confused. "I have never see this type of model before. From what brand is this?"

Wouter thought for a bit. "I believe it's a Poco M3."

The girl looked even more confused. "A what now? That's certainly not a brand I'm familiar with. Do you perhaps know somebody at Capsule Corp who gave that to you as a prototype?"

Wouter sweatdropped. "Capsule Corp? Is this girl serious," thought the teen?"Oh well. Might as well go along with this joke."

"Yeah, and I know Bulma Briefs personally," said Wouter with a joking tone.

Anna frowned. "Are you telling a joke? Or are you serious?"

Wouter gave the girl an are you kidding look. "Of course, I'm joking. You were, too, right? I mean, c'mon. I know we all want to meet our favorite dragon ball characters in real life. But unfortunately, that just isn't possible."

"What are you talking about," said the girl with a frown. "First of all, I don't know what you mean by dragon ball character. Second, I know for a fact that Capsule Corp does exist. And so does Bulma Briefs. She was born when I was nine."

Wouter frowned. "Listen, girl," said Wouter as he stood up. "I don't have the time to listen to some crazy dragon ball fangirl who believes that anime characters can come to life. I have more important things to do. Like finding my way home."

Anna glared at the boy. "Who are you calling a fangirl, shorty."

Wouter gained a tick mark on his forehead. "Don't call me short. I can't help it, okay? I'm only 14. I still have growing to do."

"Then stop calling me a fangirl."

"Then stop acting like one. Telling me that Capsule Corp exists. Not to mention Bulma Briefs too. You really need to know the difference between reality and fiction. People will call you crazy. Is that what you want?"

The girl glared. "The only one who's acting crazy is you. Everyone knows about Capsule Corporation. They are the most well-known family in the entire world. They invented the Dynocaps Capsules. And are probably the richest family in existence."

"Oh, and let me guess," said Wouter with a snort. "They all live in West City, right?"

The girl glared at the boy's mocking tone. "For your information, jerk. They do. We also used to live in West City around nine years ago."

The two teens kept glaring at each other. The glaring contest was brought to a hold when a familiar voice spoke up.

"What in heaven's name are you arguing about? I could hear you two bickering from upstairs."

The two teens looked up at the voice. And saw Anna's grandma looking at them with a frown on her face. The elderly woman held some kind of map in her hand.

"Grandma, this boy is being rude. He's telling lies that Capsule Corp doesn't exist. And Bulma briefs too. Not to mention he's calling me a fangirl."

Wouter frowned. "You really need to tell your grandchild the truth. Capsule Corp and Bulma Briefs are nothing but fictional characters from a manga and anime series. It's not healthy for her to have that kind of mindset."

The woman sighed. "First of all, Anna. Don't get so angry about what other people may think or say to you. And as for you, young man. Catch."

Wouter caught the map the woman threw at her. "I believe this will explain all your answers," said the woman with a frown. "It's a detailed map of the entire world. Brand new, in fact. You can keep this one since we have another one upstairs."

Wouter nodded in gratitude. "Thank you, mam."

"Oh, and another thing," said the woman sternly. "I don't appreciate you calling my granddaughter such names. Please apologize for your rude behavior."

Wouter frowned. "Why should I? She was acting like a crazy person."

The girl in question glared at the boy. "Why you..."

"Anna," said the elderly woman sternly. "Enough. This boy has probably been sheltered his whole life. Either that, or he has amnesia."

Wouter glared at the woman's words. "For your information, lady. My memory is just fine. The only ones who are sheltered are you two. You seemed to be a very knowledgeable woman to me at first. But you're just as crazy as your granddaughter."

The woman chuckled. "Am I now? Why don't you look at the map in your hands? There you will find all of the answers you seek."

Wouter frowned but looked at the map anyway. After a few seconds had passed, Wouter's eyes widened in shock.

"What, what is this? This can't be real?"

None of the landmasses he saw on the map were familiar. Where was Europe? Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, and Australia? None of the seven continents he knew of were on this map. But what he did see blew his mind. He recognized something on the map. How could he not? He played those games many times in his young life. He would always remember that place. Because it was his favorite area to explore. Wouter let his fingers run across the area he was so familiar with.

"Mount Paozu," said Wouter with a whisper.

He couldn't believe it. The home of his favorite anime character, Son Goku. Also named Kakarot. Was right here on this map. He also saw the familiar area of different islands grouped together. That must be where Roshi's Island is located. There were a lot of other places he recognized. Like the Northern mountains, the Gizard wastelands, and even Yunzabit heights.

Wouter smiled. Did he really somehow get transported to the Dragon ball world? Or was he still dreaming? Either way, he was overjoyed. He could finally explore his favorite anime world. He could become a martial artist and learn to fly into the air. He couldn't wait.

Suddenly, Wouter realized something. This was all great and all. Having the chance to explore your favorite anime world is every fan's dream. But at some point, he really needed to go home. His family must have noticed his absence by now. His parents, three older brothers, and twin sister must be worrying like crazy. Not to mention his dog, Obi. How was he supposed to get back home?

Wouter fell on his knees. "No, what am I supposed to do?" Tears began to fall from the young teen's eyes.

The woman called Greta looked with concern at the boy. "Are you Alright, Wouter?"

Anna looked confused. "Why are you crying?"

Saber tried to comfort his new friend.

"I-I can't find my homeland. It doesn't exist on this map. Not only that, but I don't recognize any of the landmarks."

"But you were smiling a minute ago," said Anna confused.

Wouter wiped away his tears. "Yeah, I did. I did recognize some places. But they were fiction in my world."

Anna was even more confused. But Greta understood the boy's words.

"You're not from this Earth, are you, sonny?"

Wouter nodded. "No, I'm not. I'm from a totally different world altogether."

Anna frowned. "How is that possible? Are you sure you don't have amnesia?"

Wouter shook his head. "Yeah, I'm positive."

The woman known as Greta sighed. "So the legend is true. I had my doubts at first. But nobody can fake such sad emotions. Especially someone as young as you."

Wouter and Anna were confused.

"Legend? What do you mean by that?"

"Let us take a seat, and we will continue this conversation."

They both nodded and sat down at the kitchen table. Greta took the tea that Anna had prepared and sat down with them.

"Now, this legend has been told by my grandfather. He said that in the ancient past, there lived a spirit in these woods."

"A spirit," said Anna with a scared look.

Greta nodded. "This spirit has been said to have the ability to travel to another world. Maybe during its travels to our world, you somehow manage to get caught during the process."

Wouter thought for a bit. "But that still doesn't explain why I was wearing my outdoor clothes and had all my valuables on me. I had already changed into my nightwear and went to bed."

Greta chuckled. "Well, the legend did say that the spirit was very kind in nature. It may have felt sorry for you that you ended up here in this world thanks to her, and used her powers to create similar clothes for you. She may have even used her powers to create those valuables you had on you."

Anna, who was still holding the phone Wouter gave her, blushed in embarrassment. She quickly gave it back.

Wouter nodded in thanks. He began to look through the photos. He smiled. They were all still there. All of the pictures he ever made when he bought his Cellphone around two years ago. He couldn't use it anymore to call anyone he knew. But at least he could scroll through his pictures whenever he would mis his home.

"Well, at least the pictures of my family and friends are still okay."

"Can I see a few," said Anna hesitantly.

Wouter nodded with a smile. "Sure."

"Oh, wow. Are those your parents?"

"Yep. They sure are. And these are my three older brothers and my twin sister."

"You're sister is gorgeous. I wish I had such long blond hair."

Wouter chuckled. "Ah, don't worry about it. Every person is unique in their own way. I think your hair is gorgeous too." Wouter suddenly blushed. "Oh, crap. I said that out loud, didn't I?"

Anna giggled. "Yes, you did. But that's ok. Thanks for the compliment."

Wouter nervously scratched his head. "You're welcome."

Suddenly, Anna looked saddened. "So, is it true that in your world, ours is just a fictional story?"

Wouter sighed. "Yes, it's true. But don't be so saddened about it. Your world is as real as my world is. Besides, the story that revolves in my world mostly follows the adventures of Son Goku and his friends. I haven't seen any episodes where you or your grandmother are seen."

"Oh, that's a relief then. But who is Son Goku," said Anna confused.

Wouter began to tell in long detail about Goku and his friends. And all the adventures he experienced.

"Wow, so does this Goku guy live in our world too?"

Wouter shrugged his shoulders. "I don't have a clue about that, I'm afraid."

Greta was in deep thought. "I have heard legends of mystical orbs that can grant wishes. But I never saw them myself. Do you think those Dragon balls exist in our world too?"

Wouter frowned. "I don't know about that either, unfortunately. I hope they do. It may be my only chance to get back home. That reminds me. What year is it?"

"Age 740, January 7," said Anna with a smile. "Why?"

"Mmm, if I remember correctly. Goku is supposed to be three years old at this time. And Bulma is seven. So I still have about nine years before they start their journey together."

"Are you planning to join them," asked Anna curiously.

Wouter shrugged his shoulders. "Don't know. Maybe someday. But if I really want to join them. I have to become a lot stronger first. Which is a problem. I don't have any fighting experience. I don't even know how to throw a punch. Where do I begin?"

Greta smiled. "I have an answer to that question. I know an old martial arts master named Shiro. He and I are old friends. I'm sure if you tell him I sent you, he will be more than happy to take you under his wing."

"Really," said Wouter with a smile. "That would really help me. Thank you so much, Greta."

"You're welcome. However, Shiro lives in a dangerous place, Wouter. Be sure to keep your wits about you."

"Oh? Where does he live exactly?"

"In a place called Yunzabit heights."

Anna was shocked. "Yunzabit heights! But that's on the other side of the Earth. How is he supposed to get there? No plane flies to that area because of the fearsome and dangerous winds that blow there. And it can get extremely cold."

Wouter sighed. "I hate the cold. But I have no choice. No one said it was going to be easy."

"Just be careful. And make sure your tail doesn't freeze off."

Wouter looked confused. "Tail? What are you talking about? I don't...have...a..."

Wouter was shocked as he felt something fuzzy connected to his butt.

"WHAT THE HELL!"

Wouter stood up from his seat and walked towards a mirror. And when he stood before it he finally saw his appearance for the first time since he arrived in this world. His features had changed a lot. Instead of his brown messy hair. He now had black spiked hair that defied gravity. He almost looked like Gohan when he left the hyperbolic time chamber. Except for not having the blond Super Saiyan hair and the cool outfit he got from Piccolo.

His frame was a lot more muscular than he remembered. He wasn't fat before. But he was still a bit on the heavy side. He was a bit taller, but not by a whole lot. And the final change he noticed was the whole reason why he stood up. A brown monkey tail was sticking out of his butt.

"I'm a... Saiyan?"

Wouter suddenly smirked. "Oh man, things just got a lot more interesting."

He couldn't believe it. Did that spirit change him somehow? Anyway, if he really was turned into a Saiyan. Then he could achieve the same transformations that Goku and Vegeta did. He could even learn to control his Oozaru state and obtain the most badass transformation that ever existed. Super Saiyan 4. He couldn't wait.

"So, you didn't notice you had a tail," said Anna with a giggle.

Wouter sweatdropped. "Well, no. I never felt anything abnormal about myself. I didn't consider myself having a tail as Goku has."

Greta chuckled. "I guess that must have been the work of the spirit. It may have searched your memories when you entered this world and found out about it."

Wouter nodded with a sweatdrop, "yeah, I figured that would be the case." The teen grinned. "Oh well, I won't complain about it. It's not often a guy wakes up in a different world and finds out he has become an alien with incredible fighting potential. It will certainly come in handy."

Anna frowned sadly. "I guess you're leaving."

Wouter nodded. "Yeah, I will. But not right away. I first need to find out what I'm capable of. The road to Yunzabit heights is long and treacherous. I need to be in top physical condition if I want to survive the journey."

Greta nodded. "Yes, that's a good idea. Better to be safe than sorry. You can stay as long as you like. I will prepare the guest room for you."

Wouter bowed in gratitude. "Thanks, I appreciate it."

Greta chuckled. "Ah, so polite. Yet your body was hesitating. Why is that?"

Wouter chuckled nervously. "Well, to be honest. In my country, it's not really something we do. When we thank someone or are grateful. We usually just say thank you while shaking their hands. Or when we know someone personally, and we are really grateful towards them we either hug them or, in some cases, kiss them on the cheek."

"What an interesting way to thank someone," said Greta with a smile. "And kissing too, you say."

Wouter shrugged. "It depends on the situation and the person in question, really. Some people don't like to kiss and just give a hug or a handshake instead."

"And how do you say hello and goodbye," asked Anna curiously.

Wouter smiled. "When we see someone on the street that we know, we usually wave hello. Or otherwise, shake their hands in greeting. And goodbye is the same principle."

"Oh, okay. Do you guys also say good morning, evening, or afternoon?"

Wouter sweatdropped. "Euh, yes. Isn't that usually the case, Anna."

The girl in question chuckled in embarrassment. "My bad."

Greta chuckled at her granddaughter's antics. "Say, that reminds me. When you first approached me earlier today. You spoke in a totally different language. One that I have never heard of before."

Wouter nodded. "Yes, that was Dutch or Flemish. It's the language we normally speak in Belgium. That or French. But I'm not particularly good at that," said Wouter with a chuckle.

"Different languages," said Anna, amazed. "Wow, that's incredible. How many languages are there in your world?"

Wouter thought for a bit. "Well, a lot. As I recall, there are more than over 7,100 languages in my world."

Anna and Greta's eyes widened at the amount.

"So many? And how many do you speak?"

Wouter held out three fingers. "Dutch, English, and a little bit of French."

Greta chuckled. "Well, I'm glad you speak English so well. Otherwise, we wouldn't be able to communicate with each other."

Wouter nodded in agreement. "Yeah, you're right about that. Though, I'm actually surprised that you guys speak English. Since the country that made Goku's story is called Japan. And not America, where they mostly speak English."

"Oh, and what do they speak in Japan?"

Wouter smiled. "Japanese. It's after Korean and Chinese one of the most difficult languages to learn in my world."

"I see," said Anna with a smile. "That sounds challenging."

Greta nodded in agreement. "Well, I think that's enough questions for today. It's getting late. Let's have a good meal and go to bed."

The two teens nodded in agreement.

And so, four weeks went by in a flash. During those four weeks, Wouter tested his strength, speed, and endurance. It was mindblowing. His strength was off the charts. He could easily lift up a pickup truck and throw it like it was just a tennis ball. His speed was as fast as a cheetah. Maybe even faster. The feeling of racing through the forest at more than 110km/hour was intoxicating. And his endurance was, well, pretty high.

Damm, Saiyan powers were OP. He didn't know how strong he actually was, though. Maybe his power level was 40 or maybe a bit higher. Anyway, he was way beyond what any normal human could do in terms of strength. But that wasn't enough. He still needed to go beyond the limitations of normal people. And as Master Roshi would say, that is no cakewalk.

He managed to unlock his Ki, at least. Thanks to remembering the episode where Gohan learned Videl how to fly. He just followed the instructions. You need to stay completely calm and listen to the center of your body. Until you feel some kind of pull. And you bring it out. It took a few tries, though. But he managed it in the end. He even managed a Kamehameha. Sure, it was still a bit on the small side. But hey, so was Goku's when he first tried it. He had to build up his Ki reserves first to make a larger one. And that was through harsh training. Both physical and mental.

Strengthening one's mind was as important as training your body. Through meditation, one can calm and focus their energy. And they could keep their mind focused to use other techniques. Wouter also found out that by meditating, he could also raise his reserves of Ki. Which he didn't know. He always thought that by training your body, you could increase the strength of your Ki. And yes, that was true. But as he found out. That wasn't the only way. Also, by meditating, one could not only calm and focus their energy. They could also strengthen their spirit. Which could be used to perform interesting techniques. Like for example, telekinesis, materialization, and even elemental attacks.

Elemental attacks were actually a combination of Ki and one's spirit. By combining the two, you could change the nature of your energy. It did, however, ask a lot of concentration on Wouter's part to pull it of. But after four weeks of training, he finally managed to change his Ki nature to fire. And managed to make his own version of the Kamehameha. He called it Infernal Kamehameha.

He still hadn't learned to fly, though, unfortunately. Wouter was afraid of heights. It scared him a bit, actually. So he wanted to wait until he was ready. All in all, he accomplished a lot in these four weeks. And he had become a lot stronger. But he still didn't know how strong he really was. And he still hadn't learned to sense Ki yet. But that was something he would learn eventually. It was finally time for him to leave this town. And began his journey toward Yunzabit heights. With his friend Saber by his side, of course.

He and him had become the best of friends. Almost like brothers. And Anna became a good friend also. Almost like an older sister. They were now hugging each other in a tearful goodbye. Greta and a few of the other villagers came to see him off. They smiled sadly at the interaction between the two teens.

"And make sure you eat healthy. And get plenty of rest. And don't let those City girls take advantage of you, okay? They can be pretty mean," said Anna, with tears falling from her eyes.

Wouter smiled sadly. He also couldn't help to let out a few tears. "Right, I'll make sure to be careful."

After a few seconds, Anna finally let go.

Greta smiled at the young teen. "Be careful out there, boy. And be sure to come to visit us sometimes."

Wouter nodded. "Of course. You can count on it."

The woman smiled. "Good. Off you go, then. And make sure to tell Shiro I said hi."

"Right, I will."

Wouter gave one last hug to Anna and Greta and ran towards the village's exit. With Saber following behind him. Once there, he turned around and smiled.

"GOODBYE, SIS! AND GOODBYE, GRANDMA!"

The yelling words of Wouter had an immediate effect. Now, not only Anna was crying. But Greta too. But it was not tears of sadness this time. Instead, it were tears of joy.

"COME BACK HOME SOON, WOUTER. AND BE SAFE," yelled Greta with tears falling from her eyes.

"YES," yelled Anna, who was in the same boat as her grandmother. "YOU AND SABER WILL ALWAYS HAVE A HOME TO COME BACK TO! MAKE SURE YOU TWO WATCH OUT FOR EACH OTHER!"

The teen and tiger nodded with a smile. "WE WILL, DON'T WORRY! SEE YOU GUYS LATER!"

The teen waved one last time and ran towards the forest. On his way toward Yunzabit heights.
