It's been quite a while since vash was in a jail cell, since the legend died, cops haven't had a reason to arrest him.
"You two could have been hurt or injured!"
Yeah he was getting yelled at. Been a while since that happened too.
He looks to his fellow vigilante
She was sad, probably not used to being yelled at.
"If it was up to me I'd send you home, with a pat in the head." His partner smiled."and a slap on the wrist!" She finished with a slap of her riding crop.
"H-hey we didn't mean anything by it, we tried to negotiate, right?" He jesters to his partner.
"That's right, they threatened mr.--" leaning in to her ear he whispered "vash"
"Yeah, mr. Vash, he tried to de-escalate the situation and everything."
"Was that before or after you kicked the guy out the window?" Vash whispered to the girl. Incised she immediately said "I thought you were on my side!" "I am, i am we're all friends here right." He smiled sheepishly
"That we are, mr. vash."
Looking behind the Gorgeous woman he sees what he assumes to be an old man It's hard to tell nowadays with aura
"Thank you so much, mr. You know this was just a big misunderstanding, I would never mean to hurt anybody honest!"
"And I believe you, mr.vash the stampede. you have a very unusual name."
He sat down across from them placing a tray of cookies in front of them.
"And you miss rose, have silver eyes."
He said as ruby began devouring cookies
"So what's an adorable little girl like you doing with one of the most dangerous weapons designed?" He asked
"I- mu art s-unle." She attempted her mouth full with cookies
"Wow, these are great!" In ruby's lapse of concentration, vash swindled the whole tray
Taking the hint she swallowed then repeated
"I'm a student training at signal academy."
She said with a smile
"So I take it you want to be a huntress?"
He asked
"More than anything."she said with determination
"Do you know who I am?" "Yeah, your the headmaster of beacon academy
"Then do you want to come to my school early?" He responded with a smile
"YES! O my god i have to tell my dad!"
Ruby said excitedly
"Here's your scroll, you're free to go. I still need to have a word with mr.Stampede"
Ruby stood but before she left vash gave her the last cookie he smiled as she grabbed it and left.
"Sir, how irresponsible of you! She's 15 and if she enrolls in our school she'll be two years behind." The older woman yelled
"It'll be fine Glenda. I have faith in your abilities to help her bridge that gap." He said as he took a sip from his coffee. "Now for you mr.Stampede."
"I hope I'm not in trouble, my reputation can't take a hit right now." He said half seriously
"No you're not, quite the contrary." He took another sip
"I want to hire you as one of my staff."
"What! Sir, are you sure I don't even think this is a good idea, he's not even qualified." Glinda stated
"What's the job?" Vash said his expression neutral
"You'll be assisting in providing campus security, and teach a new class in our curriculum, de escalation and non-lethal takedowns." The headmaster said
"SIR,I must Object, he isn't a hunter, and that's besides the point, he's literally a stranger we pulled off the streets."
She yelled again
" I am the master gunman Vash the stampede! the humanoid typhoon! And I humbly accept this most prestigious position and responsibly with the most care!" He yelled
"Splendid mr. Vash I'll get in contact with you soon, you are free to go."
"Thanks for the job headmaster, I promise I won't let you down!" Vash said excitedly and vigorously shaking ozpin's hand
"I'm sure you won't mr.Stampede and you can call me ozpin. You should get on your way, the police probably want this room back." He said with a pleased smile
"Alright see you later alligator. "
Vash left soon after
"Sir, why did you hire him, he's an idiot."
Goodwitch said exasperated
"You shouldn't judge a book by its cover, and I have the most faith that mr.Stampede is more than able to accomplish his responsibilities."
He said standing up and collecting the tray
"For my workload I hope you're right." She said as she departed
"This is most definitely going to be an interesting year."
