'Finally! I thought I'd be at this forever.' Kim muttered after her baby finally went to sleep.

After putting her down, she went to bed.

'How long were you at that this time? Feels like a long time.' Ron kindly asked.

'15 minutes. Which is only 2 minutes faster then last night. (groans). Not sure how much more of this I can take.' Kim groaned.

'Hey, babies take a while to get on a normal sleeping schedule. We'll get there eventually.'

'Tomorrow, it's your turn.'

The next night.

'Kiiim! I had an accident in the nursery!' Ron shouted over the baby monitor.

Ron accidentally slipped on something while looking for the light switch.

Living room.

'Now I see why you're so eager to have her on a normal sleeping schedule. Man, my butt hurts!' Ron said, in pain.

'If it makes you feel any better, 1 time. I almost dropped her when I stepped on a Lego. Those things really hurt!' Kim replied, handing him an ice pack.

'Guess we really shouldn't try to get her to sleep in the dark if it's this hazardous. Yeah, it'll be harder to get her to sleep, but we can't keep getting hurt like this.

'Tomorrow, I'll go out and buy a small night light. That should help a bit. And, you're doing a great job.'

Smiling. 'Aw, thanks! You are too.' Ron replied.
