Notes:

I decided to just post everything that I'll be able to write. I don't really expect people to read this one cause I intend to only do self-reading but since I've shared it already in this platform, why not give it a try right?

Chichi woke up - feeling her body so heavy. She can't remember anything. She can only recall that she was preparing foods when she stumbled. She looked at her surrounding only to notice that she is actually in a hospital wearing a hospital gown.

God, what is she doing here?

Goten will probably arrive tonight. She needs to cook a lot of foods for him. Goku and Gohan will be there as well, she was sure of it. She was used to Gohan going to her first, before going home to Videl.

Slowly, she tried stretching her arms even with those needles on it, but an arm refrained her from doing so. She looked at Bulma and Videl whom he didn't notice. Both of them are holding her arms - refraining her from having anymore movements. She tried struggling against their grip but she was too weak. Too weak to even talk.

"Let me go, Bulma. I don't want Goten and Gohan to come home and find me out here in the hospital!" She shouted. Bulma and Videl had let her go, but she realized how weak her body is as of now for she can't even raise her arms. She couldn't even lift a finger.

She was sick for 3 days. She got sick in natural way but this one lasted for weeks actually, it will only be gone for a day, but will come back the next day. She wanted to laugh at how fever comes back all the time to her, but her husband and her sons haven't for months.

She heard Videl's sobs but she couldn't care less. She just wanted to get lost. She wanted to go back to Mount Paozu and cook and wait for her boys' arrival.

"Where's Pan, Videl? You should stay with her all the time!" She stressed. She wanted Videl to go away. She hated seeing her crying over her. She knows she looks pathetic, she looks crazy but who cares? She was worried sick. She was worried sick of her boys who probably have forgotten about her existence at all, who probably don't have an idea that they have a mom - waiting for them at home.

"Why didn't you tell us that you've been sick for days?" Bulma asked her - looking at her with pity. Oh, god! She wanted to erased that pity she was giving her right now. She doesn't need those. What she needs is his sons. She just have to see them and dying won't even faze her.

"I was not sick. I just collapsed cause I've been exposed to fire. I was cooking and I didn't realize that my house is almost on fire." She tried explaining. She even looked away from Bulma cause she will probably give her that pity look again.

"You're over fatigue. Do you know how worried we are when the doctor said that you're lucky that you arrived in the hospital on time? What are you doing with your life, Chichi?!"

She wanted to close her ears when Bulma's cry erupted. She don't want to hear any more cries. She'd been crying for months. She was done crying. She was used to hearing only her own sobs. Hearing Bulma's cries brought back a lot of painful memories of her when she cried for missing Gohan, and Goten. She even cried - pitying herself over the thought that she would never be enough for Goku. She was helpless.

"It's been 6 months, Bulma." She sobbed. She covered her mouth to stop herself from crying, but the pain kept on bursting.

It's been 6 months since the boys went up to the galaxy and Whis is nowhere to be contacted. Jaco on the other hand can't be found. Slowly, Chichi is losing her faith. She tried talking to Bulma about creating a ship and so they can go to Beerus Planet but unfortunately, the woman respect's the guys' decisions and decided to wait for them for more months and even years. But Chichi isn't as strong as Bulma. She can't live without Gohan and Goten. This is the longest that she hadn't seen her Goten. It kills her. She can afford not seeing Goku, but her sons? She would die.

"Everyday, I cook a lot of foods. I was thinking anytime they will arrive and they might be hungry with all the fighting..."

Suddenly, everything suffocates her. Is this the feeling of being in hell?

"Goten can't sleep without his blanket. Gohan is not comfortable when there's someone watching him asleep. Goku would be doing nothing but to train and spar cause I was not there to refrain him from doing so." She sobbed. The thoughts kills her.

"You're brave Bulma. You can handle not seeing your son for months. You can handle waiting for another year, but I can't. I miss Goten and Gohan so much that it hurts here." She grasped her heart where it hurts the most.

"I feel like I've died and I was just wondering like a zombie here on earth."

Bulma shook her body gently. Trying to put a sense out of here. She probably looked mad. Mad in the head. She saw the tears in Bulma's eyes as she stared at her onyx orbs.

"I'm sorry, Chichi. Trust me, I know the feeling of missing your boys. I know it pains you a lot. You've been through a lot and I totally understand why you're acting and feeling like this, but please..." Chichi can't believe that Bulma is begging her now. She can't feel herself. She lost herself.

"Please, stay strong before Gohan, Goten and Goku come home. I don't know what to tell them if you're going to get worst." Bulma's voice was low.

"Bulma, will I even see them again?"

Bulma was stunned. She didn't know how to answer Chichi. In fact, she herself didn't know if the boys will be back or not.

Chichi already knew the answer with Bulma's silence. She was as confused and hurt as her. She swallowed the pain that resides her throat for months.

"I dreamed of Goten and Gohan. I was trying to reach for the two of them but I couldn't reach them. I called Goku for help but he was not answering. He was not there for me to get our sons back. Until I woke up in my bed - weeping and lost in my own nightmare. I've been waking up everyday with the same nightmare and it gets depressing all the time cause I have never woken up even once - having to save one of them." She weeped. She closed her eyes - trying to erased those nightmares which seemed to be engraved in her soul. The next time, she opened her eyes, she saw Bulma looking at her and shock was visible in her face. Videl is also looking at her worry. Bulma was trying to talk to her. he can't hear her anymore. It felt like Bulma was there, but was not really there. She can't feel anything. She's numb. She can't even smell but she can see Bulma and Videl. Tears kept flowing out of her eyes but she can't feel anything.

She looked at Bulma who was still shaking her gently.

"You heard me, Chichi? You have to stay strong."

She stared at nothing. Later, she saw a lot of nurses - going towards her direction. Bulma and Videl looked shock as the both of them watched her. Chichi wanted to ask them what's going on. What's wrong with the doctors? What are they doing to her? But she was too stunned. She was too numb. She can't even open her mouth to yell at them for touching her.

"Chichi-san..." Videl uttered with lowly.

"Doctor, what's going on?" Bulma asked the doctor. They were trying to shook Chichi cause she was just staring and not blinking at all. She seemed to be lost in her trance.

"I'm afraid, Mrs. Son is in shock. We just need to transfer her to a tub and put her in a cold water."

The nurses then took Chichi out of the room hospital. Videl and Bulma watched as the stretcher was dragged out of the room. Bulma hugged Videl who was currently crying after witnessing her mother-in-law's loneliest and most painful moment. It breaks her heart seeing her like that and she can't even do anything.

"Gohan, you have to come home soon." Videl whispered in air.
