The air was warm and fresh as the early morning sun was shining in the pale blue sky, which was the prefect day for a hike for an eagered young boy waring a green jacket and red cap. Promising his parents to stay on the marked trail Tj went for a hike up in the mountains, enjoying the sights and the sounds as he hiked further up. The view was breathtaking, he was really high up now. After sometime he decided to turn back, until a loud frantic screeching, which appeared to be that of distress, made him stop and turn back. Following the sound made Tj venture off the trail and onto a large cliff, and he could hardly believe what he saw. "Goo..Good Sweet Mike! Exclaimed Tj. Just a few feet in front of him was an enormous, and very beautiful, golden eagle, trapped in a huge thick net. It was screeching loudly and frantically struggling to free itself, and noticing the boy's approach the huge eagle reacted in fear and screeched in alarm. Shakily he places his hand on the eagle's head, it cringed at his touch. "SSSSHHHhh! It's alright, c-calm down..calm down..I'm not going to hurt you." But as he begins stroking the eagle it slowly calms itself. "There you go see? You don't have to be afraid of me." Though the fear still reflected in the large bird's one big eye as it gazed at him. The golden eagle then slightly turns it's head and starts vocalizing with him. "Wow... Whispers the boy. You're really beautiful, aren't you? How did you get in this mess anyway?" 'I bet it was a hunter!' Gazing at Tj, the golden eagle vocalizes again, making low soft cries as it gnawed on the thick ropes. In it's own, non-verbal way, it was asking for help. "Okay, I shouldn't even try, it's just to risky. But..how can I just walk away an..and leave you here? Especially if this..hunter returns for you!" He gazed into the bird's eye as he gently stroked it's head, feeling that the eagle could understand him. "Then it's settled, but you're gonna have to trust me, alright? I know you're scared but just take it easy an-and you'll be free in no time." Taking out his little travel bag Tj then dug through it until he found a tiny Swiss Army Knife that Gus let him barrow, but the great eagle begins to panic again when it saw the shiny blade. "No, no, no, ta-take it easy!" It let out another loud screech. "SHHHhhhh! Hey-hey calm down, it's okay! Easy..easy there!" Tj stroked the eagle's head again which in turn relaxes it like before. "It's gonna to be alright, I promise. I'm going to get you out of this." After giving it a minute to settle he goes to work on the ropes holding the golden eagle down. "That's it, just stay still. Don't move..I'm almost there." As Tj continued cutting more ropes the golden eagle stayed perfectly still, until realizing that it was halfway free. Screeching loudly, it extended one enormously large wing and almost knocked Tj down. And after the last few ropes were cut the giant eagle was finally free. "You're Free!"

Excited, it begins flapping it's massive wings, which in turn knocked the startled boy right off the edge of the cliff. And he screamed in terror as he starts falling to his death below while the great eagle contiues to flap it's wings. His loud screams echoed off the mountains, and he was in a full blow state of panic as he could feel the wind rush past him. Opening his eyes to narrow slits, his terror increases as his entire life starts flashing before his eyes. 'I-I'm done for.' The loud screeching from the huge eagle echoes off the mountains as well, and he figured that it was flying far away. Closing his eyes, he whimpered as he braced for Impact. 'Well, at least he..or she..is free now. As for m-me it looks like my vacation's coming to an end.' Tj then cringed, bracing for his death. Just then, something swooped down underneath him, breaking the boy's fall. It took him two to four minutes before he fully grasped what happened. Then as he felt the softness of the feathers his eyes slowly opened, seconds later Tj's eyes flew wide opened and great big smile spreads across his, once terrified face, when he found himself ontop of the golden eagle's back with it's massive wings on either side of him. The golden eagle let out a delighted cry. "I-I don't believe it!" The boy excitedly raises his voice over the wind and the giant eagle's loud cries, then took in deep breath. "You...you saved me!" The great golden eagle then ascends to great heights, Immediately Tj seized hold of the loose skin around it's neck, taking care not to pluck it feathers to. And he held on tightly as the great eagle ascends higher, he slightly nervous, as he could feel his heart beating rabidly. Though he couldn't pin-point the exact feeling just yet, what he did know was, he was in for an extremely wild ride. Whhhhhhhhhhoa! Tj's laughter echoed. And he screamed as he felt the rush of the wind again, but unlike before his screams were now that of joy though he ends up losing his hat at the sametime. But Tj wasn't willing to risk trying to snatch it back and simply watches his bright red cap drifting in the wind. Glancing back around he shut his eyes as the golden eagle breaks through the clouds, then glides over them while vocalizing with him again. Opening his eyes again, the boy laughed and patted the bird's neck. The wind had now settled to that of a gentle breeze as it blew through his jacket and ruffled his hair, slightly shaking he slowly set up. Heart pounding, Tj then held out his shaky arms which filled him with a miraculous experience. "Yeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhaw!" Then flapping it's massive wings, the great golden eagle then swooped back down. Startled, Tj quickly grabs hold of the loose skin and held on just as tightly as before, feeling like he was on a rollarcoaster. Though he wasn't abit scared and continues laughing as well as screaming. 'This is the start of a beautiful friendship'
