CHAPTER ONE
don't ruin our friendship
A/N:So I was thnking if Manny tells Ellie to stay with him, Diego and Sid:) and he didnt say to her to leave with the other mammoths (sorry if i make spelling mistakes,English is not my mother language)
It's been a week after the herd leaves together and since they survive the flood. Manny and Ellie were walking side by side, Diego and Sid in front of them and Crash and Eddie were playing tag in some trees. Manny was thinking what he was gonna do about Ellie, or if he could left his past behind and start a new begging...maybe with Ellie. But he didnt think he could do that...to left his family.
Manny left his though to go and put his gaze on Ellie. She was looking at Crash and Eddie playing tag. He was wondering what she think that he didnt tell her that he liked her, "maybe she dosen't like me", he though. Maybe she wanted to leave with the other mammoths with Manny...or she wanted to leave him.
It was almost dark, the herd has found a spot to sleep with some trees around. They were still looking for a place to live. Sid was making a fire, Diego was watching him, the twins and Ellie we're playing tag in the woods and Manny was watching them.
"You don't like her, huh?" Diego said to him smiling. "What do you mean? Of course i don't" Manny answered to his friend. "Come on Manny, we know that you like her" Sid said with a big smile on his face. "Yeah sure"Said Manny looking away."How would you know that Sid? You can't even talk to a girl." He said to Sid. "Mister, I can talk to a girl if you are wondering, but they reject me." Manny and Diego started laughing."Manny you're telling me that i can't talk to a girl when you made the first woman that you saw in a while wanting to throw a rock in your head." Said Sid with a smile on his face, Manny's smile dissapare when he heard what his friend said to him.
Manny wanted to take Sid and throw him in the fire."Come on Manny he know's what he is talking. Since the flood you are watching her different than the day you met her. You need to talk to her."Diego said. Manny put Sid down,"I dont think she likes me, she dosen't give me signals that she want to be togheter with me...And I don't want to ruin the friendship between us." Said Manny with a sad expresion on his face. "Okay, you do what you want, but when she gives you the signals that she want to be with you, don't hesitate and tell her what you feel about her."Diego said.
"Hey guys, what are you talking about?"They turn around to see Ellie, Crash and Eddie stading by the fire Sid made. "Oh nothing important" Manny answered to her "Okey" She said looking at him kindly, he smiled at her. "So did you three had fun running like you we're crazy" Manny asked her laughing, "Hey, it's a game if you don't know and yes we had." She said. "I know it's a game, i just don't get it, you just run like a crazy person just to catch the other, it's a stupid game." He said sitting down on the ground "Hey it's not stupid, it's fun, you shoud play with us sometime"Ellie said to him giggling."Yeah sure" he chuckled.
"Hey, that would be fun seeing Manny doing something fun" said Crash "He is just so boring" Said Eddie. "Boys!" Ellie said giving a look like she is gonna kill them. "What Ellie? You can't deny, he dosen't know hpw to be fun." Crash said looking at Manny."You two go to sleep it's late" Ellie ordered them "Sorry" She said to Manny "It's okay" They both smile.
Ellie goes to the tree where Crash and Eddie we're sleeping. "Good night Ellie" Said Manny before he could fall asleep. "Good night" said Ellie to him.
