Manny was the only one awake, the rest of the herd was still asleep. He was looking around to see if everything was good. He then put his eyes on Ellie, he liked her, even if they were so different. Manny is grumpy, sarcastic, angry, lonely, cold and stubborn, he didn't want to show his emotions to anyone, he showed them when he was with Ellie

Ellie is kind, positive, sometimes naive, and she has a motherly and cheerful personality, she wasn't 'afraid' to show her feelings to anyone. He loved her personality, his friends we're right, but he still didn't want to make her distant to him. He liked what was between them, that 'friendship' they had, Ellie liked it too but maybe she wanted more, like he did, but he didn't know that because she didn't say anything about they're 'friendship' he didn't say anything too.

He walked over in the woods leaving the herd sleeping.

He walked for a while not paying attention to the things that happened around him, then he fell somebody touching his tusks. It was Ellie, she was following him.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" He asked

"I saw you leaving and i followed you, the rest are still asleep. If you want i leave"She said.

"No, don't go, It's not fun being alone" Said Manny smiling, Ellie smiled back.

"So what are you doing here?" She asked

"Oh, just a morning walk"Replied Manny

"Wow, i realized that this is the first time i ever woke up this early" Said Ellie laughing

"I wanted to ask you, why are you up so early" said Manny looking at her

"I was tired because yesterday almost all day I ran after Crash and Eddie."

"Yeah I told you it's a dumb game." Said Manny trying to hold his laugh

"Hey it's not stupid I told you, it's a fun game"

"Sureee Ellie" Manny started laughing

"Okay if it's stupid than let's play it" she said

"No Ellie, it's stupid." said Manny annoyed

"Come on, it will be fun. Pleaseeee" She said holding one of Manny's tusks

He sighed "Fine! But only a few minutes"

"Yay. Tag you're it" Ellie said and then she started running

Manny started to run after her trying to catch her but he was to slow to catch her.

Ellie than stop and wait for Manny.

"Tag you're it" said Manny touching her trunk, then he start running again laughing.

Ellie giggled and start running after him.

She then crashed into Manny making him falling on the ground and rolling around. She then started laughing.

"See it's fun" she told him

"yeah it is" he said. Manny took Ellie's trunk and dragged her on the ground next to him.

They both started blushing and then got up.

"We should go to the others, maybe they are awake and looking for us" said Manny

"Yeah you're right, let's go" She replied

Back at the camp place Diego, Sid, Crash and Eddie we're about to go look for Manny and Ellie.

"Ellie where have you been?" asked Crash

"I was just taking a morning walk with Manny. Why did something happened?" asked Ellie worried

"Everything is fine, but we thought something happened to you" said Eddie

"I'm fine" she said smiling at her brothers

"Ellie, we are gonna go find some food, you stay here" said Manny

"ok" she answered

"So what did you do?" Diego ask Manny

"What do you mean?" asked Manny

"I mean did you tell Ellie what feelings you have for her?"

"No i didn't"

"Why?" asked Sid

"Because she was happy and I didn't want to ruin the smile on her face" Manny said

"Uuu that means you too had fun" Sid said with a big smile

"Yes we had"

"What did you two do? Tell me"

"I'm not gonna tell you"

"Oh come on"

"No Sid" Manny said angrily

He didn't want Sid to know that he had played tag because he knew that Sid was gonna make fun of him for the rest of his life.
