"Hey Mugsy, what's the date today?" Cuphead asked his younger brother. "It's February 18th..." Mugman said. "Oh ok" Cuphead replied.

"Wow, it's already February 18th... it's been a whole year since we met Chalice!" Mugman said. "Really? It felt like we met her today, but last year" Cuphead said.

"We should celebrate!" Cuphead suggested. "Yeah, an anniversary like this should be celebrated!" Mugman agreed.

The Cupbros decided to get a cake for them and Chalice to share. They went to a close bakery. "Hello there!" The Baker greeted the cups. "What you you boys like for today?"

"We need a cake" Mugman said. "An anniversary cake!" Cuphead added. "Oki! That will be 45 dollars" The Baker said.

"Oh, we don't have 45 dollars" Mugman said. "Are you sure you can't lower the price? I mean, it's a friendship anniversary cake! You can't put a price of friendship, right?" Cuphead said.

"Sorry fellas, I can't change the price for no occasion" The Baker said. "Aw banana oil! Now what are we supposed to do?" Cuphead asked.

"I guess we'll just have to celebrate a different way" Mugman said as he and Cuphead walked out of the bakery. "Unless... we don't have to" Cuphead suggested. "What do you mean?" Mugman asked.

"I thought of a way we can get as much cake as me want, for free!" Cuphead said. "How? That's impossible" Mugman said. "Remember The Baroness? She has so much cake!" Cuphead said.

"That was the weirdest sentence I've ever heard you say... AND THE CRAZIEST! There is no way we're going back to that psycho land!" Mugman protested.

"C'mon, it wasn't that bad! As long as we don't eat any cake from her castle, then we'll be fine!" Cuphead insisted. "No! Why would you want to risk our lives for some cake?" Mugman asked.

"Please, she won't even know we're there" Cuphead begged. "You can go, but I'm not!" Mugman crossed him arms. "Fine, I'll get the cake myself!" Cuphead said as he started walking toward where Candyland is. "Ugh... wait for me!" Mugman said as he ran to catch up with his brother.

After walking for about 10 minutes, Cuphead and Mugman found the entrance to Candyland. They hesitantly walked in, but something was off.

"Hey Mugsy, does something feel off to you?" Cuphead asked quietly. "Of course something feels off, this place is insane!" Mugman whispered. "I know that, but when I first came here there was music and it wasn't so quiet and echo-y" Cuphead said.

"Let's just get some cake and get outta here" Mugman said. "Right-" Cuphead agreed as he bumped into something. He look up and...

"Well hello, great to see you fellas again" Baroness Von Bon Bon said with a grin. Cuphead and Mugman just stared at her with a scared face. "W-we we're just leaving" Cuphead said.

"Why don't you boys stay for a while" Baroness Bon Bon said. "But it's getting late, we really should go" Mugman protested. "But it's so lonely here, please stay for a while!" Baroness insisted.

Cuphead and Mugman exchanged glances. "Well... I guess it wouldn't hurt to stay here for a few more minutes" Mugman said. "Great!" Baroness said.

"Do you mind if we borrow some cake?" Cuphead asked. "Of course not! Just not from my castle" Baroness said. "We know the rules" Cuphead said.

"Is okay if we give some cake to a friend? We promise won't tell her where we got it from" Mugman asked. "You guys are lucky, you get to have friends, but I am all alone..." Baroness Von Bon Bon said.

Which gave Mugman an idea. "You guys wait here! I have the perfect friend for you, Baroness!" Mugman shouted as he ran away from Candyland.

Several minutes later, Mugman came back with some familiar. "Baroness, I would like you to meet The Ice Cream Man!" Mugman said.

Soon, The Ice Cream Man and Baroness Von Bon Bon were talking a lot. They were talking so much that they didn't even notice Cuphead and Mugman walk away.

"That was way easier than I expected" Mugman said. "Right, now let's go find Chalice" Cuphead said. The cups walked to where they think they would find Chalice.

"Chalice! You here?" Cuphead shouted. "Yup!" Chalice said as she appeared in thin air. "We brought you a cake!" Mugman said. "What's the occasion?" Chalice asked.

"It's our one year anniversary of being friends!" Cuphead and Mugman said in unison. "I knew that, I was just kidding!" Chalice said. "I can't believe it's been a year since we became friends!" Mugman said.

"A year since we went to jail..." Cuphead said staring into a distance. Mugman then elbowed him. "I'm glad I met you ding-dongs, I don't know what I'd do without you!" Chalice said.
