Hello gentlemen and ladies.

So, after PM conversations with my friend Stand with Ward and Queen who helped I decided to go ahead doing this little one-shot.

The background is what if MCU and Yellowstone existed on the same earth with Peter being a member of the Dutton family.

Onwards.

Dutton Ranch

Adjusting his hat as a light wind blows through Jimmy Hurdstram wearing a dark color Carhart jacket with the golden Y symbol on the upper left chest area, blue jeans, boots, and a side arm strapped to his right hip looks out over the seeming rough country of the valley.

Just taking a moment to soak it all in, a reminder of what they are still fighting for even after all these years. Well briefly smiling Jimmy notes his marriage to Emily certainly is another major part that helps. Met all those years ago after one of the darkest times in history for The Snap.

This ranch has survived a lot, and during those years was no different. Rapidly without its main leadership of John Dutton, having been dusted alongside Monica, and Jamie caused rapid changes in power. Beth ended up becoming the de facto head alongside Kayce, and he stepped up into being Rip's main right hand. Loyd's death didn't help matters. Following everybody returning five years later well took a bit of adjusting.

One of those a handful of months following ended up learning about a hidden member of the Duttons. How Charles Dutton who was John Dutton's older brother years ago ran away at the age of sixteen and ended up changing his name to Parker on his mother's side. Charles fathered two sons of Richard and Ben.

Richard died in a plane crash alongside his wife. Causing Ben and May taking in Peter Parker as a young boy. Sadly, Ben Parker died in the first public known alien invasion of New York back in 2012 while May ended up being murdered just last year at the hands of Norman Osborn.

Of course, how they even discovered any of this was when Peter Parker's identity got exposed John Dutton wanted Jamie to go help legal-wise for clearing any charges. Unable on explaining for a random stranger forced John to reveal the truth which just went over so great Jimmy notes cynically.

Needless to say, when Jamie went to New York Beth traveled along wanting to meet her nephew. Made some comments about how doesn't want Jamie to make a massive screw-up as always but not quite with the bite it once had.

Then everybody including them forget about that even happening for a while because of some wizard's spell Jimmy recalls Peter revealing. As Spider-Man had crashed once more into their lives a handful of months or so following the Statue of Liberty events. Spider-Man was chasing some drug runners with literally ended up a bruised mess on the ranch and got taken back to the house.

The conclusion of those events changed Peter who now splits his time between New York and Montana. Not shockingly more than one dirtbag from the city ends up running their enterprises out this way. Jimmy is drawn out of his musings by the very same individual whose wearing jeans, boots, a T-shirt, underneath a jacket, and a dark color cowboy hat.

"Enjoying the view?" Peter inquires riding up on his horse.

"I'll start heading back" Jimmy replies.

Chuckling "Relax I'm not Rip; you can spend a few minutes. I certainly do" Peter replies.

"Don't blame you. Better than New York's view" Jimmy says.

"New York skyline has its charms, but this is something else altogether," Peter says in agreement.

"Yeah," Jimmy says quietly.

"Let's head back, we've got the cows from pasture eight moved and Emily is checking them for fever," Peter says.

"We had a few of the wranglers get into a fight with Miles Warren's boys from the Alchemax corporation," Jimmy says.

"I noticed some bruises earlier but didn't have the time to give it much thought" Peter replies "Does something need to be done?"

"They got jumped from behind and Ryan swears his drinks were drugged," Jimmy says.

"You help lead the bunkhouse Jimmy, it's your call," Peter says.

"I was thinking of unleashing a bull inside and taking some baseball bats to the men responsible," Jimmy says.

"Fitting punishment" Peter replies "But you're wondering if I have a different idea?"

"Yes," Jimmy says.

Nodding "Send a message to the men who roughed up the wranglers and burn the bar down" Peter replies darkly.

"Harsh but I've seen you help us dispose of bodies" Jimmy comments.

"I'm not a boy scout despite my nighttime outfit and when I'm out here in this valley I'm just a Dutton. Besides it's not like Spider-Man hasn't caused property damage in New York or killed Thanos's goons" Peter says shrugging.

"Fair enough" Jimmy replies.

Peter merely gives the reins a light tug to keep his horse calm while thinking it over. Some people might consider it massively duplicitous regarding how Spider-Man takes down crime lords while willing to look the other way for the Dutton family. And yes, Peter knows about the more ruthless side, including the train station where probably not everybody there actually deserves it but is one huge difference.

Unlike the crime bosses, the Duttons are not willingly hurting innocent people to enrich themselves. Merely trying to protect themselves yet unfortunately using less than savory methods to do so. A family home going back nearly a hundred years.

Going back to family such as James Dutton, and Margaret the original founders. The children of Elsa, John, and Spencer, James's brother of Jacob Dutton with his wife Cara. Later Spencer with his wife Alexandra, or Jack alongside his spouse of Elsa. Other family members, some lost to tragedy before their time and eventually leading to now Peter notes. Even a legacy for his girlfriend and one day a child of their own, just like Tate is for Kayce and Monica. The next generation of the Dutton's.

Frankly, Peter doesn't know on will always remain in New York or not, depending on how life goes. Only like how he fights to protect that city will do the same for his second home in the Yellowstone.

A home that is worth fighting for Peter knows looking out. A few hills, woods for as far as an eye can see, snowy mountain tops in the distance alongside an area filled with countless wildlife. Even a sense of beauty untouched by cities, freedom to just run until your legs burn, the privacy of nobody around for miles.

Leaving his thoughts Peter decides it's time to start heading back. After all, there is work to be done.

"Come on, we should get moving," Peter says.

"Agreed" Jimmy replies.

Making a light-clicking noise they gently tug their reins guiding their horses in the opposite direction Jimmy and Peter begin moving into a full sprint.

Hope you all enjoyed this and leave a review letting me know what you think if you want.

Fair warning if you flame my fic, I won't tolerate it.

Yeah, decided to use Jimmy as really the guy is underused in fan fics, and sort of born out for seeing the guy grow up while still at the Dutton Ranch. Well obviously, life getting killed for five years would for sure do the trick.

On Peter's girlfriend, I couldn't quite decide who I wanted it to be so I just left that blank.

Speaking of Peter, I wanted to use his insight into explaining how the Dutton family is not a mafia crime family. They are not actively having a business that is hurting innocents and they try to avoid getting innocents harmed either.

Because it really irritates me when I see comments on the Dutton crime family when they are not.

Yellowstone is not like The Godfather, Breaking Bad, or any countless media in the mafia gene.

Now have the Dutton's committed criminal actions? Sure, but they are not a crime family. Rather just using less than great methods against other bad people.

Until next time.
