"So, why exactly are you meditating under a waterfall?"
"I think the real question, Sylveon, is why you wouldn't meditate under a waterfall."
These two voices came in the form of Mawile, currently attempting to quote on quote 'meditate under a waterfall', and Sylveon, currently grappling with the facts. They were currently near a small waterfall hanging off of the side of a mountain, well, Sylveon was anyway. Mawile was in the thick of it. Sylveon had stumbled across his friend on a stroll, and things quickly escalated from there.
"Look, I understand that this box environment has a lot of places for us to hang out and all-"
"Yep."
"And that's why I'm currently trying to figure out why you chose a waterfall…. And meditation, of all things, to entertain yourself with, when that is certainly not your strong suit."
Mawile scoffed. "What do you mean I'm not good with meditation? You know me, I always love to sit still and do… sitting still things."
"Mawile, the last time I saw you, you and Klefki laid Spikes traps outside of Charizard's house."
"So?"
"What I'm saying is… well, you're kind of always doing something. Most of the time something stupid. So why are you sitting still?"
Mawile looked offended. "What do you mean stupid? They were perfectly reasonable actions to take."
"I had to have Abomasnow and Milotic come to cool you and Klefki off after Charizard accidentally blasted you with fire when he stepped on those Spikes. I'd say that was anything but reasonable."
Mawile turned her head away in disdain at that remark. "Fine, the real reason I'm here is because Klefki stuck some of Alcremie's cream to my butt."
Sylveon looked a bit amused and yet a bit relieved at the same time. "Oh, it was just that simple then? Well then, let's just get that off you and you can get moving again-"
"You didn't let me finish. What I was gonna say…" Mawile looked down, embarrassed. "...Was that the cream finished hardening. I'm kind of stuck."
"Oh." Sylveon paused for a moment. "Well, do you want to get unstuck?"
"Do you know how to unstick me?"
"Nope, please enlighten me."
"Alright, so, stand there." Sylveon moved a little closer to Mawile's spot. "A little more that way, and…. Perfect! Okay, now pull."
"What?"
"Pull me off of the rock."
"I-" Sylveon sighed. "Ok, here goes."
Sylveon used his feelers to firmly grab Mawile, and began to attempt to pull. Unfortunately, Mawile wasn't budging.
"Wow, that cream really is stuck on there. I think I may need an extra hand-" Sylveon made a move to leave, but found he was stuck. Looking at his foot, he found the answer.
"Mawile, did Klefki, by chance, happen to drop any extra cream on his way out?"
"I mean, maybe? Why do you ask?"
"I may… um…" Sylveon paused. "I may be slightly stuck to the ground right now."
