Sirius Black was in the form of Padfoot and was running in the forest. The black dog was trying to find Harry, bit for now it was without success. The dog stopped exhausted at one small stream and started drinking thirstily. In an instant, the hair on his back stood up and the dog stopped drinking. There was something out there, a predator, a hunter and he was being hunted. Padfoot started sniffing around but to his surprise he was unable to get a location of the hunter and he did the only reasonable thing, he run like the devil was after him. The huge cat looked at the retreating dog and smiled, he had found the dog and had decided to amuse himself by stalking the dog. He jumped from his vantage point from the trees and started running after him, while being careful to stay against the wind. The cat was as black as night and emerald green eyes. Few seconds later he jumped aside because in front of him appeared another huge cat. The cat was another nindu. The two cats looked at each other before jumping at each other and a battle for dominance followed.
Padfoot had doubled back, when he heard the sound. The dog in him was afraid but the human in him wanted to know what was making such noise. He stopped at the age of a clearing and saw with increasing horror, the two large cats fighting. The black one was bigger and very agile for its size, but neither of them stopped the fight. The fight continued for few more minutes before the yellow one stepped back before the black cat. The black beast came closer to the smaller one and butted its head like old friends before disappearing into the forest.
- what, made you this nervous, this morning?- asked Snape amused. Sirius looked at him and said very quietly - there are two nindus, in the forest- when Snape heard that he sobered up - Are you sure- asked the potion master worriedly - Yes i saw them, one as black as night and one golden. Two amazing beasts and very strong ones. They fought for dominance and the black one won before it disappeared into the forest - And the gold one?- asked Snape - It followed soon after
The two teachers entered the Great Hall and looked at the house tables. As usual Mike was boosting his greatness to whomever wanted to listen. Their eyes stopped at Draco Malfoy and Viridis Black. The boys were very tired and a little bit worse for were, but otherwise ok. Today was the day that the candidates for representing the school were chosen and everyone was exited. They saw how Draco, Viridis and Krum put their names before leaving the Hall and going who know were.
Everybody was at dinner and were expecting the Goblet choice. Dumbledore stepped in front of the cup and the first name jumped out.
- For Durmstrang, the champion is Victor Krum- The Durmstrang students and Viridis clapped enthusiastically - for Beaubaton, Viridis Black- the Beaubaton students followed the example of their Durmstrang counterparts as Victor And finally for Hogwarts, the champion is Draco Malfoy- finished the aged headmaster- now every school has its champion. They will participate in three dangerous tasks and the ultimate price will be a 1000 galleons...- Dumbledore stopped talking when a fourth name came out of the Goblet- Michael Potter- said the old men surprised
Viridis, Victor and Draco were talking quietly when the door opened and Michael Potter entered arrogantly.
- what are you doing here?- asked Draco -I was chosen as a Champion, what else- said the boy - That is highly unlikely for you to be chosen- said Shade - And why not?
- Because from what i have seen you are very arrogant, and from what i have heard you bully others for them to do your work. This is not the behaviour of a champion- responded Viridis
The following day Viridis, Draco, Sirius and Snape were at Gringotts for a blood adoption ritual. Sirius was going to adopt both boys. Technically, such a ritual was not necessary because as head of the Most Noble and Ancient House Sirius needed only to annul the Marriage of Narcissa and Lucius, but the blood adoption offered some extra protection to Draco. The four men exited happily the bank when all hell brock loose. DIagon Ally had become a battle field when Voldemort inner circle led by Lucius Malfoy appeared. The four men jumped into action and started defending the the confusion of the battle they were hit with the killing curse and everything become black.
