It is my duty as Keeper to put pen to page any time an event of significance occurs either within the family or on Addams Reserve territory. I am therefore glad to write that since the time of Gomez Addams's arrest, I have indulged in a time of little to report; other than the activities of his pest of a brother, Fester. But today brings new and dreadful news to darken my doorstep. I am eager to report a new alliance being proposed over several days this October between the Addams family and the Sinclair pack of the west coast. According to our genealogical history, this will be the first true interaction between the families since either immigrated to the US some 300 years ago.
In preparation for this worrisome crowd, I have begun tending to all the rooms the Reserve has available, as well as stockpiling meat for our carnivorous visitors. A part of me also expects the tedious need to move any docile or domesticated creatures for the time being. Werewolves can be quite rowdy when they get excited, and I'd rather not have to serve their kills for breakfast because they decided to "let loose."
This alliance has me awfully excited though, it's been near 2 decades since I have spoken to another person. Perhaps I should go out into town in order to brush up on my social skills? Rue is a wonderful companion, but I doubt Thing would qualify her as a competent conversationalist. One thing I find I am excited for is the prospect of meeting my cousins Wednesday, Pugsley and Pubert at last. As far as I am aware, Wednesday is the eldest child and was born not long after Gomez and Morticia last visited. I have no doubt the Reserve played some part in that. The Sinclair's also plan to bring a younger member of the pack themselves.
I do hope the children play nice and only burn down the pixie coop this time.
Signed,
Corvus Addams,
Addams Family Keeper.
