If one word was to describe what was happening in Times Square, it would be chaos.

The area was an all-out warzone as the NYPD fought valiantly against the Wrecking Crew, but even they weren't a match for the group of four supervillains. Two police officers had to run when Piledriver leaped and slammed his fists into the top of their police car, completely denting it like it was nothing. The police then had to run out of the way when the big man, Bulldozer, came charging through... like a bulldozer. Bulldozer then picked up one of the police cars and threw it at van, causing an explosion with both vehicles going up in flames.

BOOOM!

"This is what I call a party, boys!" Wrecker, the leader of the Wrecking Crew, laughed as he smacked his crowbar into his hand before smashing it on a police car repeatedly.

"Yeah! What could spoil our day?" Thunderball laughed as he swung his ball and chain and aimed it towards a group of civilians before throwing it. The civilians screamed and ran for it, with a mother covering her children and her eyes shut tight as she clutched them close, only to feel... nothing. She opened her eyes and looked to see the superhero Jakob Thorsson standing there, having grabbed the ball with one hand, while his axe was in his other hand.

"Yay!" the mother's children exclaimed in joy as the hero looked at them.

"You better get off the road with your kids, ma'am. These punks are going to be given a beating I don't think the kids would want to see." Jakob said as he faced the Wrecking Crew while the mother took the hint and ran with her kids close to her.

"Oh shit! It's Thorsson!" Thunderball shouted, getting the attention of Wrecker, Piledriver and Bulldozer.

"Oh great! You again?!" Wrecker growled as he and the other stepped forward and faced the Asgardian Demigod. "Can't you just piss off and let us do our thing in peace?"

"By 'thing', you mean destroying property and hurting civilians? Do I look stupid, Wrecker?" Jakob asked, twirling the Leviathan Axe around before he stopped and pointed it at them. "you four are going back to jail, and I'm going to make sure it's with a couple of broken bones and a broken nose."

Wrecker glared at him. "Bulldozer!"

The big man laughed as he charged towards the Demigod who narrowed his eyes and tensed before he twirled his axe around when Bulldozer got close, and slammed the flat side of the Axe right into Bulldozer's metal mask with enough force to knock him off his feet. Jakob jumped up then slammed both feet into Bulldozer's chest, slamming him into the ground and creating a spider-web crack in the concrete road.

Wrecker, Piledriver and Thunderball charged at the Asgardian Demigod, with Wrecker swinging his crowbar but Jakob blocked it with his Axe, only to be blindsided by Piledriver with a punch that made Jakob spit a bit of blood out, however he recovered and headbutts Piledriver, ducks a swing from Thunderball's chain ball, which caused it to smack Wrecker in the chest and send him crashing into a police van.

"That had to hurt." Jakob remarked before he ducked another swing from Thunderball's weapon, then grabbed the chain and yanked on it, pulling the surprised Thunderball off his feet and into a hard kick to the face by Jakob, sending him to the floor with a pained groan. Jakob heard a roar and looked to see Bulldozer charging at him, causing the Demigod to tense and prepare when Piledriver grabbed him from behind, leaving him open but Jakob leaned his head forward, then threw it back, slamming it into Piledriver's nose.

"OW!" Piledriver clutched his nose, which Jakob saw was bleeding. "You broke my no-AHHH!"

Jakob had jumped out the way just as Bulldozer got close, causing Bulldozer to slam into Piledriver instead and both went tumbling to the ground. Jakob saw Wrecker charging at him, crowbar raised, and blocked it with the axe. The two glared at one another before Wrecker played dirty when he spat in Jakob's face, causing him to quickly wipe it off but Wrecker took the chance to swing the crowbar into Jakob's stomach, the force sending the Demigod off his feet and slamming right into a building, shattering several windows from the collision.

Wrecker chuckled and turned away, but Jakob ran out and jumped, twirled the Axe around as the blade was encased in ice, and he slammed it into the ground, creating a shockwave of frost that struck Wrecker, sending him off his feet and he collided with a street lamp-post headfirst, knocking him out cold with a groan.

piledriver charged in, hoping to land a lucky strike, but Jakob ducked, dodged and sidestepped his attacks before he punched the villain in the stomach, slammed the bottom of the Axe into his chin, then delivered a huge uppercut that knocked him off his feet, Jakob grabbed his ankle while he was in the air then slammed him into the ground hard before spinning around and then threw him right into Thunderball who was attempting to use his ball and chain again.

"I'm going to crush you!" Jakob heard Bulldozer and looked to see the big man charging. "You'll be a stain when I'm done with you!"

"Where have I heard that one before?" Jakob rolled his eyes at the cliché villain talk. He rolled to avoid Bulldozer's charge and tackled the big man, slamming him through several cars before taking him down and rained down punch after punch to his covered face. Jakob then picked Bulldozer up and threw him into Piledriver and Thunderball, sending them colliding with Wrecker, getting groans from all four of the Wrecking Crew as Jakob walked over, recalling his Axe. "Now, give up?"

Wrecker managed to glare up at him despite the pain he was in. "F-Fuck you-" He was knocked out when Jakob slammed the end of the Axe into the side of his head.

"I'll take that as a yes." Jakob said and stepped back to allow the authorities to do their job, watching as Wrecker, Bulldozer, Piledriver and Thunderball were loaded up and taken away in a police van. His job now done, Jakob flew off into the air and landed on a rooftop that overlooked all of Times Square. He crossed his arms, enjoying the sight with a small smile on his face.

However, his moment of peace was interrupted when he heard something behind him and turned only to see a strange vortex open right before his eyes. Jakob tensed and reached for his axe when chains burst out the vortex, wrapped around him and began pulling him in!

"What is..." Jakob grunted as he tried to break free but the chains were made from some kind of metal not even his strength could break. He yelled as he was pulled into the portal and felt an ungodly amount of pain before everything went black.

And that's it for this chapter. Sorry it was too short or anything, trying to come up with ways to move the plot along. Also, i tried basing Jakob's fight with the Wrecking Crew off of Thor's fight with them from The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes TV show, really love that show.

So, here's what I got for the first couple of story arcs.

The End to an Era (First arc and pre-Flashpoint)

Dawn of Justice arc (New 52 Justice League formation arc)

Those are the three arcs I have currently planned and completed, ready for posting when the times comes, however there is a five-year gap between the Justice League's formation and when the actual New 52 Comics begins like the Wonder Woman: Blood storyline where she finds out she's the daughter of Zeus.

A lot is going to happen as I intend to make this a proper Marvel/DC crossover, and make it build like it's the MCU since I plan to have an Infinity Sage in which the Infinity Stones pop up occasionally. Here's some of the ideas that I have but need help putting into writing.

Jakob is brought to Asgard and meets the alternate version of his father and the Asgardians.

Jakob meets Zatanna and Constantine, and deals with the first Infinity Stone in the Infinity Saga, also meets Scarlet Witch during this bit.

Jakob meets and fights the Hulk.

Formation of the Avengers

Thor dies and Jakob becomes the new wielder of Mjölnir.

Jakob becomes the Norse God of War.
