Deadkings: Hmm, that was an idea I have been thinking about, which could lead to some interesting story arcs that have Jakob face this dark, alternate version of his family... and bring about Ragnarock.

Jakob grunted as he roughly fell to the floor, still feeling the chains wrapped tightly around him. His nose was hit with the smell of sulfic, brimstone, which made him frown. So he was in Hell, or a realm that really smelled like Brimstone, but there was only a few that smelled that way. He heard the crackling of fire and saw torches on the walls, and he slowly looked to the end of the room where a throne sat. And a figure sat in the throne.
A figure he recognized all too well.
Mephisto, the ruler of this realm, a powerful demon lord with tricks and manipulations that rival Loki's. he's tricked humans into believing he was the Devil himself, even though he wasn't as there actually is a Lucifer that ruled Hell. But Mephisto wasn't the first demon to pretend they were the Devil, Satan, Beezelbub, or any title belonging to the Devil moniker. The sight of the demon made Jakob frown and tense, as Mephisto was an enemy he and his father have faced numerous times together.
"Hello Jakob..." Mephisto said with a twisted grin as he leaned back on his throne. "I'd say it's nice to see you again... but it's not."
"Hey Mephisto." Jakob grunted as he sat on his knees. "How's the family?"
"Family... you mean the family you single-handedly tore apart?" Mephisto growled as he stood and started walking down the steps of his throne, shrinking until he was more human sized rather than the large height he just was. "You... who killed my slept, seduced and manipulated my daiughter and then tossed her into the Phantom Zone!"
"First off, I didn't seduce your daughter, she tried seducing me." Jakob corrected with a smartass tone, causing Mephisto to narrow his eyes at him. "Blackheart and Mephista deserved their fates for a long time after all they've done to the Realms. And you... you're no different since you couldn't keep them under control. And since when do you care about your children? You usually use anything and anybody as playthings in your-"
Jakob was cut off by Mephisto's fist impacting his face, sending him crashing into the wall and he fell to the floor as the chains released him. The son of Thor groaned as he pushed himself to a knee before he rolled out the way when Mephisto blurred over and his fist was driven into where Jakob had just been.
"Come on, little demigod, make this fun for me!" Mephisto challenged.
"You want a rematch from our last fight? When my father and I kicked your ass back here?" Jakob asked as he brought out the Leviathan Axe and encased the blade in ice. "then you shall have it!"
Mephisto just grinned and the two charged at one another, Jakob leaped and brought the Axe down but Mephisto teleported, causing the Axe to hit where he had just been. Mephisto appeared behind Jakob and grabbed him before throwing him across the room, teleported where he was going to land, grabbed him by the throat and practically chokeslammed him into the floor.
"Shit..." Jakob groaned and coughed up a bit of blood before he spat it directly into Mephisto's eye, causing the demon to pause as he reached up and touched the blood before he licked it off his finger.
"Hmm, tasty." Mephisto commented before he kicked Jakob in the ribcage, sending the son of Thor off his feet. Jakob rolled onto his back before Mephisto was there and he slammed a cloven hoof right into his stomach.
KRAKOOOM!
"GAH!" Jakob lurched up in pain as Mephisto continued to slam his foot into the demigod's stomach, causing more blood to spit from Jakob's mouth. Mephisto backed off, watching his prey groan in pain as he tried getting to his feet.
"First, I was just going to kill you and resurrect you as my undead servant, then unleash you upon the Earth to kill your friends, starting with that lovely wife of yours" Mephisto started before he was surprised when Jakob flew right at him and slammed his fist into the demon lord's face, sending him skidding back but Jakob was on the attack as he drove his fist repeatedly into Mephisto's face.
"Don't you dare. Ever. Threaten. her. Again!" Jakob shouted "Don't threaten any of them!"
Mephisto just grinned as Jakob kept punching him before he grew to a bigger height, slammed both his fists into Jakob's ribcage which caused the son of Thor to yell out in pain as he started to fall, only for Mephisto to punt him into the ceiling and he fell down with a loud thud.
"Jakob, Jakob, Jakob..." Mephisto shook his head in disappointment. "You are a demigod, a half-God, you have the power and strength to take what you want, to conquer, to rule even... and you waste it on playing hero. you're strong enough to have it all..." Jakob got to his feet and flew at him, throwing a fist but Mephisto caught it and slammed him into the floor. "Too weak to take it!"
Mephisto threw Jakob into the wall with enough force that the wall gushed out blood and bits of stone while the flesh held Jakob there and seemed to wrap around him. Jakob panted, blood running down the side of his head, from his lip, his body in absolute pain from the beating so far. He gritted his teeth as he tried to break free, only for his eyes to widen when he saw Mephisto's fist coming before it slammed into him, burying him deeper into the wall.
Mephisto grinned evilly before he felt his fist shaking and saw sparks of lightning coming from the hole Jakob was buried in under his fist. Then he was thrown back with a powerful beam of lightning striking him in the chest, sending Mephisto colliding with the opposite wall. Jakob jumped to the floor, lightning coming off his body as his eyes glowed with the same intensity as the lightning. He recalled his Axe to him, the blade encased in ice, then he fired a beam of ice at Mephisto's legs as the demon stepped forward, freezing his legs in ice.
"Wha..." Mephisto was caught off guard as he tried to break free, but couldn't get the chance to for Jakob slammed into him, slamming lightning-powered fists into the face of the demon before he roared and delivered one more punch, this one stronger and enough to unleash a shockwave and send Mephisto off his feet, breaking the ice around his legs, and the demon collided with the wall harshly.
Mephisto growled, glaring at the demigod. "ENOUGH!"
Suddenly Jakob was slammed into the ground by an invisible force that caused him to scream out in pain as he felt several vertebrae in his back pop out of place and three ribs in his chest break against the floor. Mephisto walked over, glaring coldly and darkly at the demigod before he raised his foot and brought it down on Jakob's front.
KRRRRAAAAK!
Mephisto laughed as he raised his foot a second time and then slammed it down again and again…
KRRRRAAAAK!

The demon then switched tactics as he brought his fist down repeatedly instead of using his foot, burying Jakob in a hole as he kept punching him.

Finally, Mephisto stopped and backed up a step to see Jakob, bloodied all over with blood nearly covering his whole, his form battered, bruised, dirtied, his body most likely in a untold amount of pain with broken bones, perhaps internal wounds like a pierced lung or a broken rib.
"Aww, don't tell me you've given up, my boy." Mephisto chuckled with dark glee as he circled Jakob, a dark twisted gleam in his eyes. "The fun hasn't even begun yet."
He paused as he felt a shift... Something had happened. The Earth had shifted, changed, and it didn't just affect the Earth, it affected the Universe, and many others at that. Mephisto frowned and turned away, waving a hand to see whatw as going on. Once he did, a grin spread across his face as he came up with an idea to cause his enemy more pain for the demon's enjoyment.
"Killing you now... would be mercy." Mephisto said as he turned back to Jakob and walked over, crouching down and making the demigod look at him. "No, you haven't suffered enough and the only way to break a man, to make him suffer... is to take away everything he has in life, everything he's fought for... and erase it. And then, watch as he struggles to regain it, but know that he will never accomplish it. You took my children from me, the only pride and joy I have ever had in my life, so I will take everything you love and fought for away. That is what I intend for you, and when you, a half-God, is broken, shattered, your will broken... then you have my permission to die."
"G-Go... t-to...H-hel, demon." Jakob wheezed out through the pain, managing to give the demon a defiant glare.
Mephisto just smirked before he picked Jakob up, lifted him into the air and threw him towards the wall that was beginning to part and form some sort of portal filled with black and white swirling energy. Mephisto then picked up the Leviathan Axe, gave it a long look,before throwing it after Jakob.
Jakob yelled out as he felt like he had been set on fire.
Eighteen years ago... Jakob 17, Diana 4,985
Jakob stood with his foot on a small rock, the Leviathan Axe strapped to his back thanks to the metal hook a pair of Dwarven blacksmiths had made for him before he first came to Midgard to defend it from an invasion by a giant alien starfish named Starro.
Starro had once been an enemy of Asgard, having tried to foolishly invade and conquer it. This was before Jakob's time, a long time before he was born but he had heard that his father and several other warriors, including Odin himself, had battled the giant starfish and sent him into retreat from Asgard. Now, may years later, he attempted a similar take over on Midgard, or Earth, but once again, there was an Asgardian there to stop him, although Jakob did have help.
That help came in the form of the heroes known as Batman, Superman, Green Lantern (Hal Jordon), Wonder Woman, The Flash (Barry Allan), Aquaman and Martian Manhunter. the heroes had joined together and defeated the alien starfish, giving him another defeat. Jakob had to admit, his father was right when he said Midgard wasn't entirely defenceless from other forces beyond the world if it had such heroes, especially a Kryptonian and a Green Lantern.
"Mind a little company?" A voice said from behind him, causing him to turn and see Wonder Woman approaching him.
Just from the sight of her, Jakob felt his heart skip a beat. He may be a warrior, trained from a young age to become a great warrior under his father's watch, but he was still a boy in his late teens with hormones and desire for women. Now that there was no threat to deal with, nothing to divert his attention, he took the chance to admire Wonder Woman's beauty. She could rival his grandmother, and even the Goddess of Love Freya, with such beauty. Jakob knew she wasn't of Asgard, but of Themyscira, an island of immortal warrior women created by the Olympian Goddesses to protect them from Man.
Jakob's pantheon and the Olympians have had dealings in the past before, though it never went well when Zeus and Odin met. Jakob's never met an Olympian, though he did once express a desire to battle Ares, the God of War, and see if he was just as a capable warrior as Týr, the Aesir God of War.
"No, feel free to join me." Jakob said, noticing that the Flash and Green Lantern were talking while Aquaman was frowning at them. The two were probably making fish jokes and it was getting to the king of Atlantis. Martian Manhunter was just looking around with an unreadable expression on his face.
Wonder Woman stood beside Jakob, the two looking out into the distance as Jakob leaned on the knee he had propped up onto the small rock. After a moment of silence, Wonder Woman spoke. "I have heard tales of the Asgardians. They say that after a battle, they would celebrate with drink, feasting and pleasures of the flesh."
Jakob snorted. "Some of that is true, though we mostly enjoy the drinking and eating, and telling the stories of our various battles. Never one to partake in the celebrations myself as I am still fairly young. Today could be considered my first real battle outside of the training my father put me through."
"And your father is Thor, correct?" Wonder Woman asked curiously. "Your last name is Thorsson and I noticed your use of lightning, and I know only one Asgardian that uses lightning."
"Yes, my father is Thor." Jakob nodded. "But if you ever meet him, please do not inflate his ego, it's big enough as it is."
Despite herself, Wonder Woman couldn't help but give a chuckle at his words, though she can tell he was joking and being serious at the same time. She looked around, spotting the one called Green Lantern with his arm around Aquaman's shoulders and a grin as he said something, causing Aquaman to glare at him while the one called the Flash laughed, most likely them jesting and making fun of the Atlantean. She looked around again and spotted Batman and Superman talking not too far away, and could see there was a sense of hostility between them, mostly on the Batman's side.
"So, until today, have you even been here?" Wonder Woman asked, turning her attention back to Jakob.
"No, to be honest." Jakob said with a sheepish grin. "Well, unless you count the day of my birth. I'm a Demigod, my father was Thor, my mother was a mortal woman he laid with years ago when he came here. She died giving birth to me."
"I'm sorry." Wonder Woman said with sympathy, putting a hand on his shoulder.
"Thank you." Jakob nodded at her in thanks. "But, I decided to come back and see the world my mother was born and lived in... only for that to be interrupted when Starro arrived and... well, here we are now."
Wonder Woman smiled before she held her hand out. "Diana."
Jakob looked at her, then her hand, then back to her face. He then shook her hand. "Jakob Thorsson."
"No other name like I have, or them?" Diana asked, gesturing to the other heroes.
"No. I see no need to hide behind another name as an identity." Jakob shook his head. He then had an idea and looked at her. "Say, you mentioned Asgardians celebrate after a fight, correct?"
Diana eyed him, probably thinking he was going to mention the part when an Asgardian takes a woman to his bed after the drinking and feasting. "Yes..."
"Well, would you join me for a cup of coffee?" Jakob asked. "Don't worry, this isn't the typical Asgardian celebration with drinking and feasting, I mean just a cup of coffee between friends... we are friends, right?"
"We fought together, so I think so." Diana chuckled before she nodded. "Yes, I'll join you for some toffee."
"Coffee." Jakob corrected her politely.
"Coffee, yes." Diana said with a giggle as Jakob chuckled.
Jakob didn't know how long he had been falling through the vortex Mephisto sent him through, all he knew is that eventually he came out of it and slammed into concrete hard, rolling several times before coming to a harsh halt as his Axe landed next to him. He groaned and pushed himself to his feet, despite how much his body was aching at the movement. He squinted his eyes when a pair of car headlights nearly blinded him.
'Great! just what I need after being beaten up by a vengeful demon hit by a car!' Jakob thought as he prepared to be struck by the car only for it to come to a grinding halt, much to Jakob's surprise. He saw the driver's side door open and a familiar person ran out to him.
"Jakob?!"
Jakob's eyes widened as he saw Barry Allan AKA The Flash run to his side. "Barry? What the hell are you doing here? Where is here? And why were you driving a car when you're the fastest man alive?"
Barry was about to answer until he noticed Jakob's state, with the now dried blood covering half his face, his bruised form as well. "Jesus Jakob... never mind, we're in Gotham, not far from Wayne Manor which is where I'm going."
"Why? What is going on?" Jakob asked as Barry led him over to the car.
"I don't know Jakob, but something's wrong." Barry said with a almost scared look. "Something's very wrong..."
And so Flashpoint begins. Yeah, I included a flashback of when Jakob met Diana, how old they both were, Starro's history though a little altered to show that he's encountered the Asgardians, and also that Diana has read about the Asgardians as well. Also, an appearance by Mephisto. Do remember, Mephisto has also battled Thor in the comics, so I figured he could fit as a villain into this. I am debating whether to have Loki pop up as another villain.
But so far, in total, only five of Jakob's rogues have shown up. Wrecker, Piledriver, Thunderball, Bulldozer and Mephisto, each are Marvel owned so... like I said, I am trying to make this a proper Marvel/DC crossover with characters from both comic franchises.
