All thirteen members of Organization XIII were gathered together. They were grouped within the entrance hall of Castle Oblivion, their dark hooded cloaks standing out against the white walls. Each one of the Nobodies were carrying brushes in their hands with tins of paint piled before them.

"It's time," Xemnas announced, "that we gave this castle a fresh coat of paint. We've been living in this pure blankness for some time now. A spot of color would really liven this place up, right?"

The others nodded as they chorused together. "Right!"

"That's why we're going to brighten up this castle," Xemnas smirked as he picked up a pot of pain from the pile, "with a nice shade of olive!"

"Now wait just a minute, Xemnas!" Axel cut in. "If you wanna brighten up these walls, olive isn't the color to paint them!"

"I'm the leader here, Axel!" Xemnas frowned. "What I say goes! We're painting this castle in olive!"

"If it's livening up this place needs," Axel smiled as he reached for a different paint pot, "then the color to do just that is red! Got it memorised?!"

"Hold on!" Roxas held up a hand as he picked up a tin that held paint of his favourite color. "I think this castle would look really good if we painted it orange!"

"No way! I ain't gonna take orders from a kid!" Demyx frowned as he grabbed his own preference from the pile. "Which is why I propose we paint the castle blue!"

"Nuh-uh!" Larxene disagreed. "We should paint it yellow! It'll go nicely with my hair!"

"If it's a color to match we want, then we should paint this place pink!" Marluxia rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "It'll match perfectly with my flowers!"

Soon the whole castle was filled with shouting and yelling as the whole Organization argued heatedly over which color to paint their lair.

"Green!" Xigbar cried.

"Teal!" Vexen insisted.

"Turquoise!" Xaldin bellowed.

"Cyan!" Zexion roared.

"Purple!" Saïx hollered.

"Silver!" Lexaeus burst.

"Gold!" Luxord snapped.

"SHUT UP!" Xemnas screamed at the top of his voice. "WE'RE PAINTING THIS CASTLE IN THE COLOR I WANT AND THAT'S FINAL!"

Determined to show his authority over the his followers, the angry leader of the Organization pulled the lid off the tin he was holding. He drew his hands back before thrusting them forward, sending out a shower of olive paint flying out…

…but instead of landing on the nearest white wall, as Xemnas intended, it splattered all over the unfortunate nearest Nobody.

"XEMNAS!" Axel exploded. "LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE TO ME!"

The others stared, taking in the absurd sight of Axel covered in grey paint. They were all staggered and bemused - with several of them making no effort to contain their laughter.

"Gee, Axel!" Xigbar snickered. "No wonder you started this whole debate! Olive really isn't your color, is it?!"

"NO ONE THROWS PAINT AT AXEL!"

With flames surrounding him in his rage, Axel thrust his own tin forward - to hurl the red paint it held inside all over Xemnas.

"AXEL! HOW DARE YOU THROW PAINT ALL OVER YOUR LEADER?!"

"Well what did I tell you?!" Axel sneered. "Red has certainly made you look a lot more lively, Xemnas!"

Xemnas fumed. His face was red with rage as well as paint. He heard his other followers laugh at him. His teeth clenched as he casted his intense glare to the one who happened to be cackling loudest of all.

"WHAT ARE YOU LAUGHING AT?!" He growled, before emptying another tin of olive paint - this time all over Demyx.

"UGH!" Demyx spluttered in horror and disgust. "Look what ya did to my good looks!"

"Good looks?!" Saïx sneered. "I don't recall you having such a thing. I'd say that color's improved you!"

Infuriated, Demyx grabbed some blue paint and threw it towards the one who had insulted him, only for Saïx to move quickly out of the way - leaving Larxene to get splattered instead.

"ARRRGGGHHHH!" The easily-provoked female member thundered. "RIGHT! YOU'VE JUST MADE A HUGE MISTAKE, SONNY!"

Raising her own tin, Larxene threw her yellow paint towards Demyx, ending up getting plenty of it all over Roxas.

"Alright!" Roxas smirked as he armed himself with his own paint pot rather than his Keyblade. "Paint fight!"

Soon, paint of different colors was flying around the castle as the Organization ran through the building, chasing one another to poured and splatter their messy weapons at each other. Not one of them was safe from the riot they had started among themselves. Every one of the Nobodies threw their paint at each other, mucking up their faces, hair and cloaks.

"Take this!" Vexen yelled as he chased Xaldin down while throwing his teal paint

"Take that!" Luxaeus shouted as he slammed his pot of silver paint down to stick it onto Xigbar's head.

"Gee, this sure is fun!" Roxas laughed as he poked his head up from behind the fallen bench he was shielding behind - before a shower of red paint flew into his face.

"What did I tell ya?!" Axel smirked as he refilled his tin. "Just the thing to liven everything here up! Got it memoized?"

And that was how Castle Oblivion ended its days of having nothing inside but pure blank white.

There were now plenty of colors to be found there - although through the unusual way they had been applied, there wasn't so much colors on the walls and floors than there was on the Organization!
