Bio-Android Saga
Arrival Arc
Chapter One
Hurting Hearts
A/N: For anyone who may be wondering, the Saga name and designation of Bio-Android comes both from the main description of Android 21 (One of, at least) as well as the actual circumstances behind their creation in this story. I'm also thinking the Arrival Arc will last until the next chapter before it moves on to another arc, but maybe that'll extend to four. I'd rather not have a two-part arc like that, Rule of Three and all that jazz..
Previously, on Dragonball Z Ultra (This will not always be present)..
Nick Negron and his friends were on a school trip when the world ended in quakes and tremors. Despite this, however, they woke in a new world filled with differences from their own. Nick was now a half-Saiyan, a race of proud and powerful warriors hailing from a planet far from Earth, his friend Leo another species of alien known as a Namekian. Their friend Tara was now the richest teenager on the planet and the object of Nick's affections, Sameera, was all but missing.
In the first week of their new lives, the teenagers discover their new lives are much more detailed than they believed at first. Nick and Leo as well as their friend Sonia appear to train under an aging martial arts master named Kiyoshi. What's more, in their past in this new world Nick and Tara went on a quest to find the mystical Dragonballs, seven orbs capable of granting almost any wish in order for Nick to bring Sameera back to life, thinking her dead while the truth turned out much worse for him.
In the present, Nick and Tara sneak off to search for the last two remaining Dragonballs to be found, finding them and using them to summon the Eternal Dragon, Shenron. Granting their wish, the dragon brings Nick and Tara along with Sonia and Leo to an abandoned lab once run by the leader of the now defunct Black Pendant Army. There they find Sameera, but from being mostly unconscious since her rebirth in this world, she flees the scene. Nick catches up to her and a battle begins, but this is not where we resume our story..
Tanuki Town, 350 miles south of Crystal City..
The day had started out easily enough for Cole as he practiced the motions for his Steel Turtle Style of fighting. He needed to be at top performance for the next World Martial Arts Tournament so he could take Nick off of his pedestal. Still surprising here he's a martial arts champion and back home he was just a nerd.
He paused in his motions as he heard his phone ring, looking at the device sitting on top of his shoulder bag. It was Leo, surprisingly. Sometimes Cole forgot that the Namekian knew how to use one. "Leo? Something happen?"
"That depends. We found her, Cole. Sameera. But, something isn't right. I want you to get in touch with the others and get over here to Star Canyon."
"Star Canyon? Isn't that where the.. no, Sameera was imprisoned there?"
"Not.. exactly.. Just get everyone else over here now. There may be a battle on our hands. They're already squaring up to each other."
"They.. You don't mean Nick and Sameera are about to fight?"
"Haven't you been listening? Meera is even more different than Nick or I am here, just get. Everyone. Here. Asap!" The line went dead as Cole sighed.
"Great, things seemed to be going okay, and now Sameera is about to fight our resident alien martial art champion.. I should probably listen to Leo, then." He packed his bag up and started making calls as he climbed into his airbus, one of Tara's more functional inventions mixing the need for air travel methods as well as ways to reduce traffic on roadways. He had some friends to find.
Meanwhile, Star Canyon, Dilapidated Lab..
The two pods containing Bio-Androids that had sat next to the one Saneera had emerged from hissed open, diagnostic tests being run on the subjects within as distant sounds of battle could be heard..
~DBZU~
High above the canyon floor and closer to the ocean that bordered the country, Nick grit his teeth as he deflected another ki blast sent his way from the pink-skinned Sameera. "Meera, stop this! Come to your damned senses!"
The evil version of his friend sneered at him. "My senses are sharper than yours! Choco Beam!" She sent another blast of ki hurtling at Nick, the boy dodging just in time for it to collide with the wall of the canyon, creating a large crater now made of pure chocolate.
Nick looked at the result of the attack in shock. She can do that? She would literally be able to eat me.. I can't let that attack connect. He thought as he got up close and personal to the Bio-Android, taking her wrists and pulling them to fall harmlessly at her sides as she thrashed about in mid-air. "Why are you acting like this?! What about all the fun we had together, huh? The week you ran away from home because you couldn't stand your mother being the overbearing woman she always was. The confession you were about to make when we were about to fucking die! Where is all this coming from?"
"Oh, Nicky. Poor, poor Nick can't even fathom that his little friend is different now. Better without him. We were created to destroy and kill the enemies of the Black Pendant Army, and wouldn't you know it? You're on my list!" Sameera thrust her head forward, causing Nick to let go of her arms before she sent a flurry of punches to Nick's chest.
"Ugh!" Nick grunted as he sank down towards the ground again, panting as he made a shaking fist. "No, bitch," The Android looked at him with an amused twinkle in her eye. "You were created by those assholes. Sameera was just the victim and I won't forgive you or any of them for what she's gone through. I made her a promise years ago that I would protect her and I'm overdue to pay the bill! Rargh!" Nick flew up to meet the Android head-on, the two exchanging blows faster than most people could follow.
On the ground, Leo watched the fight as the other two girls present couldn't believe what was going on in the sky above them. "Why is she attacking him? Tara, you told me Nick mentioned Meera about to confess. This is not a confession." Sonia pointed to the two in question as Tara sighed.
"I know that, Sonia. This is exactly what Old Yagi warned me about, Sameera being too different for us to handle. But, this is Nick's fight more than anything. If anyone can smack some sense into her, from what I know of this world, it would be Nick."
"I hope you're right. With how we both feel about him, his dying here would be a huge failure on our parts."

Tower of Giru, Twenty Minutes Later..
Cole had already found Paige, the girl now a martial artist like so many of their friends here, and they were now at the Tower of Giru looking for their other friend Len. "You're sure he's here?" Paige asked as she smoothed out her skirt from the wind whipping around the tower outside.
"He has to be. Len lives in this place, alongside the Guardian of Earth, Leonis. Who, technically, is part father and part brother to Leo which in this world makes sense but not to me personally. Len! Nick and the guys need our help!"
There was a sound from high up the spiral staircase that climbed the inner wall of the tower as a silhouette rapidly fell towards the two. A boy their age dressed in a ninja outfit landed on one knee, standing up straight and pulling the bottom half of his face mask down. "Hey, Cole. Paige. What seems to be the issue this time?"
Cole sighed as he told the tale of Leo calling him just a short while earlier..
Shortly After, Cyanara City..
Now the group of three stood inside the local mechanic garage, waiting for the last member of their secondary party to join them. "I'm coming, I'm coming. What seems to be the.. aw, shit. Here we go again." Said the voice of Genesis as she exited the back of the garage. "What did Nicky do now?"
The others chuckled nervously, knowing the girl wouldn't be the most favorable to the events of the last twenty-four hours.
~DBZU~
None of this is working. It's like she knows every attack I'm capable of.. Nick thought as he gained distance from Sameera, the female Android sending blast after blast of purple ki energy shooting at him, keeping him unable to make a retaliatory attack. "What? Afraid to get hit?!" He taunted her, eyes hard with determination to stop Sameera before she could escape and cause more harm.
The part-Buu girl giggled. "Who, me? Nuh uh, I just like seeing you struggle. As my primary target to destroy, playing with you seems like such a fun decision!" She giggled again, this time licking her lips.
Nick growled lowly. "Don't you have Sameera's memories? Why still fight me?!"
"What part of Android and orders to kill don't you understand? Dr. Botchili created me to destroy you and the rest of your little friends so the Black Pendant Army can rise again! And some weird memories won't overwrite that! Sweet Bomb!" She held one hand up, her index finger extended as a large ball of ki formed inches above Sameera's hand. She giggled again. "Goodbye, love. It's been fun." She smirked before tossing the huge ball of energy at Nick, who narrowly dodged out of the line of fire as the ball hurtled straight towards the others on the ground, specifically Tara and Sonia.
The two girls knew the attack was too much for them to handle by themselves, Tara especially not having exceptional power like the others in their group. Both ducked to try and get out of the way but the ki blast seemed to grow even more as it flew towards them. Leo tried to fire off his own attack to cancel the Android's out, but Sameera was too powerful in this new form as hers just absorbed Leo's own beam. They thought themselves goners as a reverberating metallic slashing sound was heard, the teens looking and seeing their other friends Paige, Len, Cole and Genesis, Len being the one who had stopped the attack with his enchanted katana. "Thank everything you guys showed. What took you so long?" Leo asked as he sat on the ground, glad to still be alive.
Cole shrugged. "All of us live or work hundreds of miles from Crystal City. Sue us for not being here instantly." The tall teen looked up at the battle overhead. "So, you guys mean to tell me that pink chick is Sameera? What happened to her?"
"She has been transformed into some form of Android," Came another voice as both Old Lady Yagi and Master Kiyoshi appeared, the voice belonging to Yagi. "I had hoped this outcome could be avoided, but it seems the Black Pendant Army has kept up to its nefarious tricks. Was she alone?"
Leo shrugged. "Honestly? No clue. Nick only activated her stasis pod, but there were a few others scattered around the lab that weren't outright decommissioned or destroyed." He pointed down the hole Sameera had made in her initially panicked haste to escape the lab's confines.
Yagi and Kiyoshi looked at each other, both knowing just how much trouble the BPA could cause if even one more Android as powerful as
Sameera seemed to be were to be unleashed on the world at large. Kiyoshi nodded towards the makeshift entrance. "We will check out the rest of the lab. If Sameera has indeed been turned into one of Botchili's Androids, then the man's immorality truly knew no bounds." Without another word, the two surprisingly spry elders jumped down into the hole.
"How long have they been fighting?" Len asked, looking at the duo locked in combat high above them as well as the rest of their chosen battlefield. "And, is that canyon wall melting?!"
Leo chuckled. "That was something Sameera did. We heard the word choco being shouted, so I can only figure the point was the attack would have turned Nick into candy for Sameera to probably eat, which is odd enough a sentence to say."
"Hey, stop the innuendo. Although that is probably exactly what would happen, it still doesn't need to be said." Tara said irritably.
"Oh, stop it. Just because he rejected you-"
"Fuck up, Leo!"
Cole chuckled. "Oh, this group never changes, even displaced from our own perception of reality. Nick seems pretty evenly matched, though."
Leo nodded. "Yeah, almost like Sameera was remade as an Android just for the sole purpose of killing him. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case, I've heard the stories of the old Black Pendant Army Conflict."
"You think he has a chance?"
Leo shrugged. "Time will tell, Cole. Although, I wouldn't be so surprised if Nick pulled some trick out of his hat. He should have a Senzu Bean or two in case he gets too fatigued."
"Good. Always be prepared."
~DBZU~
"Darling, I can do this all day. Any chance there's something new to show? Or is my innate knowledge of your own moves allowing you to surrender quietly?"
Nick panted as he struggled to keep himself afloat in the air, the battle already taking its toll on him due to Sameera's untiring battle tactics. "I can keep going all day, too, Meera." Nick half-lied, hoping Sameera didn't know about the Senzu Beans Nick and his friends admittedly abused in tough situations. "I didn't win three different championships if I couldn't outlast even the most tireless fighters."
Sameera giggled. "Oh, you really think you have a chance? I'm an Android, honey, I never get tired."
Nick froze momentarily, her words bringing a long-buried memory to the surface. "Great, now this all got awkward as hell. And you weren't always a damn Android! Barrage Burst!" Nick threw three balls of ki at Sameera, the Android standing her ground as they hurtled towards her. At the last moment before they would have connected with Sameera, all three burst out into countless other orbs, all of them raining down hard on the pink-skinned girl.
Sameera couldn't take the full brunt of Nick's attack as the explosive rain sent her careening towards the ocean. She twisted herself in midair and bared her teeth. "Fucking moron! Are you trying to kill me?!" She shouted, readying her next attack.
Nick rolled his eyes. "Don't try and play innocent to get my guard down. I'm already resolved on kicking your ass back into whatever corner of Meera's real mind you crawled out of." He dodged out of the beam's path and fired off another volley of ki blasts as Sameera disappeared from sight. Nick looked around and was blindsided as Sameera pushed him down to earth with excessive force, Nick's impact with the ground creating a resounding shockwave through the dirt as well as the crater he now lay facedown in.
Sameera cackled as she climbed back off of him, dusting her pants off. "Empty threats. But thanks for playing." She cackled again before her shoulder jerked back hard from an unknown impact. Looking towards where the sensation originated from, Sameera saw Tara holding one of her company's guns. "And what's this? A new challenger approaches, eh?"
Tara had had enough of whatever game Sameera was playing as she fired off another few rounds, the gun being the only weapon she was comfortable with in this world. "That's enough, Sameera! Get the fuck away from him!"
Sameera smirked, shaking her head in amusement. "Tara, Tara. What kind of person shoots their best friend?" The Android held a hand out in the direction of the now unconscious Nick, ki gathering to finish him off even as the two girls stared each other down.
Tara growled. "I don't know, but it's better than being the person who kills the boy they've said they're in love with for years, so I'll take that stigma, whatever comes."
"Hmph. Have it your way, then. I guess you and my weaker half will have to mourn." She looked only to see Nick's body missing from the impact site of the crater. "What the..?"
"Nick! Oh, come on, Nicky, open your eyes." Tara said, making Sameera look back at her and see Nick's still unconscious body now lying on the ground in front of Tara, his head propped up on Tara's legs as she sat on the sand, sighing in relief that Nick was still breathing. "You idiot. I told you it wasn't a good idea, but you still needed to do this, didn't you? Thanks, Sonia."
Sonia smiled sadly at the sight of her friends. "Don't mention it. The two of us are quite possibly the only ones left to pick up the pieces. Meera doesn't deserve him, anyway."
The Android picked up on their hushed conversation. "You all can't keep him safe forever, you know. And for your information, Sonia, I don't want him. But neither of you two will have him either, in the end. I will see my programming fulfilled."
"You're going to have to go through us, then, Sameera. Don't you see that what you're doing is only going to hurt him? You always said you'd never do anything to hurt him but look at what you're actually doing! You have the memories of the other world just like we do. Why can't you just fucking listen to them?!" Sonia stood up only to push herself off of the ground, hurtling towards Sameera with one fist raised.
Sameera just stood there until Sonia was close enough, throwing one hand out and sending the other silver-haired girl hurtling back onto the beach by Nick and Tara, groaning as she struggled to get up. "You all can't defeat me. I was created using the fighting data of all of you, nothing you can do can give you the upper hand."
Tara tilted her head down towards Nick, who was whispering something to her. "It'll be alright, Nick. Just relax for now, honey."
"You know, it's weird knowing the girls all have their little names for Nick, but he's so hung up on Sameera he barely registers what the pet names mean. Ignorance really is bliss with that gu- Genesis?!" Cole said as Genesis appeared next to them on the shore opposite where Nick lay.
The redhead smirked. "It's not ignorance, just annoying persistence. He knows we each have a thing for him. He actively chooses to go for Sameera, so the rest of us- begrudgingly- back off in that regard. Right now, though? Tara has no other goal than to have Nick see she was right all along about looking for Sameera. If we had just not gone looking for her in the first place-"
"That wouldn't work with Nick, he's too stubborn about such things. Plus they were close in both worlds, Gen. Unfortunately, I don't think any of you girls were going to have it easier here than back where we all came from. What Tara should be doing is trying to figure out how to bring our Meera back to the surface, and for good. This homicidal version is sexy, but I think we'll all sleep easier knowing Sameera is in her right mind."
"How would I even go about that? We don't even know how she was turned into this version of herself. I mean, I could understand cutting-edge biological splicing, but for her to be considered an Android means there's some form of mechanical or computational element somewhere."
"Her mind.. something is blocking her from being in control.." Nick said in a low whisper.
"Nicky! Stay quiet, you'll heal faster." Tara said tearfully.
"I'll be fine. Just need.. a bean."
"Oh, fuck. That's right." Sonia said as she took a small bean out of her pocket, tossing it to Tara. "We need him in the fight, Tara. He's the only one with a chance at keeping her busy."
Tara nodded and put the bean into Nick's already parted lips as he breathed slowly. "There. You'll be just fi- agh!" Tara's words were cut off by both her and Sonia being throttled further away from Nick, Sameera laughing as she put her foot on Nick's chest and pushed down, making him groan.
"N- nick!" Tara said as she got up and tried getting back to Nick only for Sameera to kick her away using the leg pinning Nick down.
"Stay down, Tara! I don't want or have to kill you, just him."
Suddenly, everyone present was aware of a white-hot rage as Nick's eyes snapped open and he grabbed Sameera's foot, tossing the Android into the ocean as he got up, going to Tara and Sonia respectively. "You girls alright?"
Sonia gave him a small smile as she helped keep Tara standing straight, Sameera's hit affecting the more passive girl worse than Sonia. "We'll be alright, Nicky. Go and stop her, you're the only one who could."
Nick nodded. "She won't get away with this, Tara."
Tara shook her head. "It's not fully her, Nick. I'm sorry I was right.. I didn't want something like this to happen."
"Don't be sorry. This is all my fault, for just not letting it go. But that pacifism ends now. If Sameera is out to kill me, then fine. I'll just make sure her mission is that much more difficult. Stay with the others, she's targeting the three of us because of what she knows."
Nodding, the two girls walked towards the rest of their friends as Nick stood his ground, looking out where he could feel Sameera's power angrily pulsing, the water reflecting this as ripples formed from a seemingly random point in the water. You won't hurt our friends anymore, Sameera. He thought as the water burst out as Sameera floated in the wake of the watery explosion, her tail thrashing back and forth in her anger.
Sameera flew at Nick at supersonic speed, a sonic boom being created as he blocked her forceful punch with one arm. "I thought you didn't want to hurt your precious Sameera?!"
Nick punched the Android back. "I'm done pulling my punches on someone who can't even think for themselves." Sameera sneered. "No, you fucking listen! You may have been created by that madman but that isn't you. Not the you I've known since we were little kids. Not the Sameera I've ignored my own feelings about just so I don't hurt any of my friends. Maybe Tara and Sonia were right. Maybe it is useless trying to bring the girl I want back. But I don't give a shit!" He sent Sameera careening through the air again. "If I have to kill you to make sure you're stopped, then I'm not going to hesitate, Meera."
"Oh, honey, you never really were very good at lying, were you? Fine, then. Let's see what you can really do." Without another word, the two combatants met each other's fists as their battle began anew.

Old Lady Yagi had a bad feeling as soon as her and Kiyoshi had entered the dilapidated lab and saw the randomly blinking lights on the consoles surrounding the pods where Sameera had emerged from. But, the two elders were too late as the two pods that previously held other Androids were now open and empty. "Damn. I thought we destroyed all of Botchili's little toys?" Yagi asked her sister.
Kiyoshi nodded. "So we thought. This lab must be destroyed fully, lest we become unable to contain the situation as it is."
"Contain? Just one of these Bio-Androids is currently laying the smackdown on your best student. If Nick falls here, there is no containing this."
"Then it's a good thing he won't. He's already had his power up." Kiyoshi stated, looking up.
Yagi hummed. "Yes, that little survival instinct the Saiyans possess is a powerfully handy ability. How many times has Nick needed such a boost, anyway?"
Kiyoshi held up one hand, three fingers extended. "Three, including just now. But, he has more tricks up his sleeve, if the conditions are correctly met."
Yagi looked at her sister, unsure what she meant. "What do you mean, sister?"
"Tell me, Yagi, in your time living out where Nick's father was raised; did you ever hear the legend of the Super Saiyan?"
"Super Saiyan..? Oh, yes I have! The legends stated that Saiyans that showed overwhelming battle prowess and the instinct to survive could transform into a much more powerful form, but it wasn't without its risks. It couldn't be kept up indefinitely because it drained the chi from within those Saiyans, causing instant death or prolonged sickness with extended use. And the legends also stated that it was only possible through.. traumatizing loss. Kiyoshi, what do you expect Nick to do out there?"
"I expect him to win, even if it comes at the price of the girl he truly loves.." Kiyoshi sighed sadly. "Either way, let's report back to the kids. They should know to look out for trouble in the coming days." Nodding, the old witch let Kiyoshi hop onto her broom with her and the two exited the old lab through the currently only exit.
Deep within the lab, inside the secret chamber, whatever was inside the containment pod pulsed..
~DBZU~
The battle topside raged as Sameera and Nick traded blows while zipping around in the air above their friends. Sameera clicked her tongue after a particularly powerful punch of hers was blocked by Nick's fist, the boy twisting their hands making her spin several feet away. "How are you able to keep up with me still? You should have been all but dead!"
"Yeah, maybe I should have been. But, my opponents in the World Tournament didn't call me a cockroach for nothing. Take this!" Nick held both hands out, palms open as twin beams of ki energy erupted from them. "Flurry Slash!" He threw his arms down, the beams crossing each other and creating several more 'blades' as the attack went towards Sameera, who hadn't expected it and was sent backwards through the air yet again.
"Grr! That's it! I know how to really get to you, even if you don't think it counts as a weakness!" She put her hand out, summoning ki energy before she redirected her arm, releasing the blast at lightning speed towards Tara and Sonia. Nick didn't register the action until the attack connected and exploded down on the ground, with neither girl seemingly moving out of the way.
Nick saw red then as he screamed to the heavens, his chi flaring to life in a physically visible aura. "Tara! Sonia!"
~DBZU~
Nick's House..
Neela Negron turned and looked in the direction she could feel her son's anger radiating from, her eyes wide in surprise as she knew what was going on with Nick. "He's awakened the power.. Oh, my sweet boy. What drove you to such pain?"
On the Battlefield..
Tara was hyperventilating as Master Kiyoshi and Old Yagi saved the two from being atomized by Sameera's latest attack as her and Sonia heard Nick's scream of agony. "Nicky.."
"He will be fine. He must think you both perished in order to come out on top in this fight. I fear Botchili created a true force of monstrous nature with Sameera."
"But, why would he.. Oh, what is that?" Sonia asked as the girls and elders all felt Nick's power exploding out from him like the initial stages of a star going supernova.
Kiyoshi looked at her student in the sky. "That is the true potential of a Saiyan."
In the Sky..
Nick had Sameera stunned as his power rolled off of him as if they were ripples on a pond's surface, growing more by the second. She saw the tears falling from Nick's eyes as the screaming stopped, leaving Nick standing there with a determined look on his face, now sporting blue eyes and golden-yellow hair, his aura of chi visible around him for several seconds until it seemed to fade back into him. Nick looked at his hand, noticing he could read his own movement at triple speed. Oh, I can work with this. He said nothing as he rushed Sameera and was able to catch her off-guard and right into the ground.
Sameera got up with a bit of trouble. "What the fuck did you do? What is this power?!"
Nick innately knew what this surge of power was, even having never heard of it before that moment. "This.. is the power of a Super Saiyan. Now fall!" He went up to her and, blocking Sameera's tail from slamming him downward, pulled one hand back as a blue orb of ki began forming.
Leo looked at the sight in shock and awe. "He's firing a one-handed Kamehameha? Couldn't he blow his own arm off from that?"
Nick somehow managed to pin both of Sameera's hands in his other one, kicking her tail from making any retaliatory actions. "Ka.. me.. ha.."
Sameera's eyes widened. "W-what are you.. Nicky!" Her eyes flashed back to violet but Nick was too hurt by her previous actions to take notice. "Please, you don't have to-"
"Me.. ha!" The beam shot forward, sending Sameera's now limp body to the sand in front of the other teenagers. "You left me no fucking choice, Meera!" Nick sank to the ground, falling further to his knees as he began muttering about not saving Tara and Sonia.
Or so he thought as he felt two pairs of arms wrap around him tightly. "We're fine, Nicky. We're here." Tara said, sighing into his neck as his hair fell flat, retaining it's regular black color once again.
"You did it, Nick. You stopped Sameera."
The emotionally troubled boy looked over at the unmoving body of the Bio-Android. "I should have destroyed her.. But I.."
"We know, Nicky. We don't blame you for having a heart, even if it does nothing but constantly hurt. The both of us have been there far too often." Sonia smiled, rubbing one hand up and down his arm. "Come on, we need to go home. I think we've had enough excitement for one day."
Nick nodded and started getting up to his feet as a sinister laugh was heard from the old lab, echoing out through Sameera's impromptu exit. "What is that?" Nick asked, really not wanting any more fighting for one day.
"It seems even 009 couldn't take him down. No matter, she was only a step forward in my research." Came the voice again as two men floated out from the hole, both wearing standard Black Pendant Army uniforms. The one who spoke looked to Kiyoshi and Yagi with a sinister grin. "Ah, Kiyoshi and Yagi. It doesn't surprise me you both still live."
Master Kiyoshi frowned. "Botchili." Nick looked at his teacher at the mention of the name Sameera kept repeating during their battle. Her creator. Kiyoshi turned to her sister. "Get the kids out of here, Yagi. Send them there, it should be safe."
Yagi shook her head. "You're not staying here to fight him on your own."
"I'll kill him. I'm still alright to fight." Nick said, getting to his feet.
Kiyoshi sent him back to the ground with a single pinch to the teenager's neck. "No, Nick. I fear you may not be strong enough to fight him just yet. You and your friends have bigger battles yet to come, fighting Sameera, I fear, was only the beginning. Yagi, now! I'll keep them distracted. Botchili has a vendetta against me, after all."
Yagi groaned but nodded. "Fine. Don't die here, Kiyo. You've survived worse to be done in by a fossil like us."
Kiyoshi nodded as Yagi swiftly uttered a spell, all of the teenagers including the unconscious Sameera disappearing in flashes of light as Kiyoshi stared down Botchili and his associate. "You'll pay for what you have done, Botchili."
"Oh, I doubt that. At least, coming from you. Face it, Kiyoshi, you already know you have no chance at defeating me. Not now that I am the epitome of my research!" Botchili cackled, his ally chuckling in a highly mechanical voice.
Kiyoshi frowned. "So that's why I can't sense you as well, now. You turned yourself into an Android as well. Most likely coming after Sameera's transformation.. Which makes you Bio-Android 010."
"Wrong again, Kiyoshi. That girl was the latest Android I converted, and only after myself and my assistant were transformed. I am designated as 008, and he is 007."
"You won't find the kids. Nick will stop you this time, whatever you're planning, just as he did as a child, destroying the regime you helped create."
"Oh, you'd like that, wouldn't you?" Botchili said as the other Android moved to strike Kiyoshi.
~DBZU~
Hell Shell Mountain, 100 Miles North of Star Canyon..
The light faded from everyone's vision as the teenagers found themselves somewhere completely new to them. At first glance, it looked like they had reentered a part of Botchili's Lab, but Nick knew Kiyoshi wouldn't tell her sister to take the kids somewhere risky instead of safe. There was a wall that reminded Nick and Tara more of her father's lab in Crystal City, computer screens and readouts that only Tara could really decipher. "Now where are we?"
Yagi was the one who answered him. "This is a little secret known only to myself, Kiyoshi, Dr. Lazard," Lazard was Tara's last name here, meaning her father knew of this specific location. "Neela and her husband, as well as all of you now. Tara, you and Sonia bring Sameera down the hall to the secure lab space. Lazard made sure the room causes anyone designated to be unable to use their abilities, which will make her all the easier to deal with."
Tara nodded, looking at Nick who was now gazing at the unconscious Sameera, still facedown on the floor in the center of the assembled group. "I'll fix her, Nick."
Nick smiled. "I know you will, hun. So.. where are we, then?"
"We are in the center of Hell Shell Mountain. This bunker was designed with Namekian materials, capable of negating others from sensing those inside as well as two feet thick lead lining in the walls, meaning even ridiculous technology like x-ray goggles would be useless. Basically, this is the safest place for any of you to be, especially because while you can all sense other people's power levels, none of you can efficiently track them as of yet. Nick, you've had some experience with the Hyperbolic Chamber situated at the top of the Tower of Giru, correct? Leonis keeps watch of it."
Nick nodded, remembering several instances where he met the Guardian of Earth and indeed used the very special chamber. "Yes, but I only stayed in there for.. three hours?"
"Five hours, nineteen minutes and thirty-eight seconds." Tara recounted as she and Sonia heated Sameera into their collective arms. She looked at Nick, blushing before the three girls left the room.
"Alright, round it up to five and a half hours. So I only did about four months or so of training in that time. It was good enough when it came to taking on General Falco."
Yagi hummed. "Yes, well that won't be the case this time. If the battle you just fought against Sameera was any indication, then you are sorely lacking in the power to truly take on another one of Dr. Botchili's Androids. I suggest at least two full days in the chamber, the exponential boost alone to your base abilities would be invaluable."
"I mean, I agree I could always use more training, but if I do go into the chamber, then I'll come out technically two years older than I am now. Is that really necessary? Can't I go.. I don't know, somewhere else that could help me just as well without the extra taxation on my physical body?"
"Like where? Do you know anywhere as safe as the Lookout to train? Because I know no other than this bunker."
Nick shrugged. "Could I maybe get some needed endurance training in with heightened gravity?"
Yagi considered Nick's words. "Yes, it could work well, in theory. How and where would you find such a suitable location?"
"I'll get back to you on that." Nick said and walked off, trying to follow where Tara and Sonia had gone off to.
Leo crossed his arms. "Today just gets more and more intense. First it's Nick and Tara having run off to find the Dragonballs. Then after summoning Shenron we found the old lab where Saeera was and released her, unknowing of her new conditioning. And of curse finding Sameera meant Nick had to go beast mode in battle against her just to get her to back down. And what was with that transformation he pulled off, anyway? I've noticed his hair and eyes flashing to those colors here and there for weeks but today was the first time it stuck around for any length of time."
Yagi nodded as she began recounting what she had once heard about the Legendary Super Saiyan.

Nick's House..
Neela jumped in shock as Master Kiyoshi teleported into the house. "Master Kiyoshi?! What brings you here? Is my son..?"
Kiyoshi held a hand up. "Nick is just fine, Neela. Drained, as is to be expected, but fine. Hopefully he'll be in a better place mentally now that he's found her."
Neela narrowed her eyes at the older woman. "Her? You mean he's finally found Sameera?" Kiyoshi nodded. "But then, why did.. The Black Pendants.. What did they do to that poor girl?"
"I do not know the full extent of the changes, but what I do know is that Dr. Botchili turned her into a very advanced Android. So advanced I'd be liable to agree that the man may in fact have gotten genetic material from another time period in general, or even more outlandish, another universe. While I am sure Sameera still has a human form, she is currently unable to take it and was solely focused on killing Nick in the name of her creator."
Neela felt herself lean back onto the kitchen counter, her mind reeling. "But.. She was only a kid when she disappeared.. The poor girl, going through so much only to fight her closest friend. It's cruel."
Kiyoshi nodded. "Appalling, to be sure. Nick was able to subdue Sameera, and they as well as the rest of their friends are now at Hell Shell laying low due to the emergence of two more Androids, being Botchili himself and his old assistant. They are both more powerful than Sameera was, and as such warranted a retreat. Nick couldn't keep fighting for long after reverting back from Super Saiyan form."
"Then why are you here filling me in instead of making sure those kids are all alright?"
"My sister is with them, they are all fine. I came to make sure you were alright as well, because Botchili will be searching for Nick and I fear he will come after you to lure Nick out."
Neela looped her thumb around the necklace around her neck, lifting it to show a series of Japanese characters painted onto a petrified eagle feather. "Isn't that what this is supposed to do? Protect me from being sensed by those otherwise looking?"
Kiyoshi laughed. "Indeed, it is. I am allowed to fear for my student's parents regardless, Neela, especially having such a history with both you and your late husband."
Neela sighed. "Fine. It is nice to see you, even if it is only in a professional capacity. Now, tell me how my son found himself pissed off enough to become a blonde." Both women shared a laugh as Kiyoshi told Neela all about how she had noticed Nick's Super Saiyan abilities trying to emerge as far back as two months prior up to the events of the battle at Star Canyon.

Hell Shell Mountain, The Next Day..
Nick hadn't been able to sleep much, not with the quiet rage he still held over Sameera and her actions, even if she wasn't in control of herself. It was why he wouldn't step any closer to the gurney-like bed she was strapped to. Those restraints won't hold if she wakes up and plans to run off again.
"You know, she's gonna freak out if she sees you there. She did when she looked at you in that lab yesterday." Tara said, her hand on his arm.
"I know, but.. ugh, I hate this. I'm so uncertain of things that, with this new life, I should be absolutely sure of." He replied, sighing.
"What do you mean, Nicky?"
Sonia had walked into the room then as Nick answered, none of the other three noticing the pink-skinned girl laying on the gurney twitching, her eyes opening slightly as she saw the other three. "Like the three of us, for one. Well, four maybe, I'm not so sure Genesis is into me rather than just teasing you both. Not to mention the whole Sameera angle.. I want to do what my heart tells me to, it's hurting because of my inability to choose. The issue then is that I don't really want to choose. Ever since Sameera disappeared in this world when we were all just kids, I've had that empty feeling, like something was always missing after that. Then I met you, Tara, and it.. it felt like I was starting to heal during our journey for the Dragonballs." Tara's expression softened at his words as Nick continued.
"Then we were almost robbed by Sonia, and despite that I felt more healed than before. Similarly, the same happened once Genesis defected from that sect of Black Pendant assholes. And now, after finding Sameera, I can say that hole is gone, but what I'm left with is a jumble of emotions that for the life of me I can't decipher. I care, a lot, for all four of you, but I honestly don't think I could make the choice go down to one final option. And that's unfair-"
"We get it, Nick. We've.. spoken about it before." Sonia said, giggling. "You just sort yourself out and stop focusing on Meera. We found her, now we just need to make sure we don't have another date with Homicidal Meera."
I was a real bitch in that fight, even though none of those words were actually mine. Sameera thought to herself as Nick chuckled.
"That's true, I almost vaporized her. If I hadn't lessened the power of my attack, there wouldn't even be a body left."
Tara giggled. "Your heart is the greatest thing about you, Nicky."
"And we wouldn't change that for anything. Honestly? You were so focused on Sameera during your battle that you were pretty intimidating to the rest of us." Sonia added.
"Now let's get out of here, see if we can't cheer you up any. If anything substantial happens with Meera, I'll know." Nodding, Nick allowed the two girls to bring him back out of the room, the trio's arms all linked together as they walked.
Sameera's eyes opened more and followed her friends, a lone tear falling from one eye. Things are really fucked up now, aren't they? I'm sorry, Nicky..

Nick spent the rest of the day with Tara and Sonia, the three just content to enjoy each other's company. Even if Nick had been much more affectionate with the two girls than he usually was, both girls having found his hands running through their hair from time to time when they would lounge around the bunker they were currently calling home. Currently, Nick had decided to go to bed while Tara opted to check in on Sameera, Sonia following behind.
"Today was.. great, actually." Sonia said as they made their way down the three levels of rooms to reach the lab Sameera was being held in.
Tara nodded with a smile. "Best day we've had in this world so far, that's for sure. Is it weird I want him running his hand through my hair more?"
"If it is, then weird, table for two." Sonia laughed. "It looks like he's finally growing up."
"Nah, Nick will always have that childlike quality to him, but we all love him for it anyway. Even Genesis."
Tara became quiet then, warranting Sonia to nudge her shoulder. "What's on your mind now, Tee?"
Tara shook her head. "Nothing. I just hope I can do something to help Sameera. One wrong move, she'll be stuck in homicide mode forever."
"Oh, we can't have that, now can we? What if you try.. merging the two? It couldn't possibly end up worse than straight up turning her full evil."
Tara hummed. "It could work. But, I don't have any of the necessary research required to do much to her as is. I need access to Botchili's data just so I can see just what he did to her."
"And I have no doubt we'll acquire it in no time. Nothing in this world on the digital plane gets away from you when you need something." It was true, in this world Tara was the most capable hacker in their group. The two walked into the lab, the door hissing closed behind them as Sonia looked at the prone form of their friend. "You think she'll wake up anytime soon?"
"About time you both came back." Muttered Sameera from the gurney as both girls turned to her then, jumping from fright.
"Fuck! When the hell..?"
"I've been up since you two left with Nicky. Way to move in on my man, girls."
"Your man? Meera, you didn't fully confess and then you go all homicidal on him. You don't deserve him."
"I get that, but that doesn't stop me from feeling for him, Tara. I heard everything said while she was out to kill him, you know." Sameera couldn't move more than her head, picking it up to look at the other two girls.
"But then why are you here and not the psycho version?"
"I don't know. When Nick was charging up that attack, she gave up control. I think she wanted me to die as myself, knowing it was Nick who did it."
"That other you is seriously cruel and fucked up, then."
"Yes, I know. Now if we're done interrogating me for answers I don't necessarily have, I have my own questions. Like where the fuck are we? How long has it been since we all should have died? Oh, and most importantly, why the fuck am I pink?!"
Tara and Sonia looked at each other before bursting out laughing, much to Sameera's annoyance.
A/N: Little thing before we fully finish this one off. I want to explain the timeline within Universe 13 since the events of this story are currently a Mashup of several other plots. In Universe 13, the only confirmed events in the past right now is the Red Ribbon/Black Pendant conflict of the original Dragonball as well as the search for the Dragonballs. There is no Saiyan invasion (although the Saiyans will start appearing in the next chapter to usher in the next arc) or Frieza shenanigans (yet) but I wanted to start off with a plot line where the fact Sameera is this Universe's version of Android 21 would work, so it's like taking the Dragonball Z timeline from before the Android Saga, ripping it up and plugging it in where needed as needed. For example, the main story has gone through the awakening of the main enemy Androids (Botchili and his assistant) as well as hinting at another bigger enemy (I'm thinking of mixing Cell and the absolute beast mode status of Kid Buu together, cause some chaos) and the otherwise good Android coming into play (Sameera won't be playing the true Android 16 role until later when her mind isn't splintered and unstable) as well as the birth of Super Saiyans in this Universe. Something like the Frieza Conflict will happen, and will probably require SSJ2 to resolve as well. As of right now, that's all I really have going lol.
How will Sameera react to the answers she seeks but may not want? Will Nick be able to face the girl he loves but almost killed? Find out next time on Dragonball Z Ultra!
