Hi Readers!
All the typical disclaimers apply.
FIRST YEAR
They were the loudest to cheer as the small bushy haired girl walked over to the table. They clapped her on the back and said "Welcome to Gryffindor! You'll love it hereā¦"
A few weeks later, their stupid brother had called her 'a nightmare' and she had to battle a mountain troll and survive thanks to Ron and Harry. She was lost and scared wondering what kind of a school this was until she'd walked back into the common room. The twins had cheered on all 3 of them and carried her on their shoulders. They'd clapped their brother on the back and said "Didn't think you had it in you ickle ronnikins. Bet our resident brilliant brain had to rescue you! " She's laughed and told them about the swish and flick. They'd made the Mickey out of Ron every chance they got. That was when they became friends.
A hello in the hall way or saving her a seat in the library and even helping her get books that students in her year were not allowed to read. The Twins took care of their own, and Hermione had surely become one of them. In fact the brightest witch of her age even 'borrowed' their text books for a little 'light reading' in return for 'helping' them with some of their simpler projects in subjects like History of Magic.
After the incident with fluffy, they helped Hermione get the right book to find Nicolas Flamel. Despite their 'incident' that lost the house a 150 points, they gave her tips and tricks to survive in the Forbidden forest. She had kept her wits about her and was significantly less scared as compared to either Harry or Ron having being assured from the twins that the forest had as much help as it had horrors. After they'd saved the world however, the twins and the rest of the school had found out all about what happened and Hermione became more of a hero in their eyes. Not to mention the fact that there was a party in the Gryffindor common room the night before they left to celebrate winning the house cup!
The twins told her that they'd let her in on a secret after they came back the next year only if she had the courage to chug a mug of Butter-beer. How that had managed to find its way into the common room along with chocolate eclairs and many more treats, she wouldn't find out until much later. As the bittersweet liquid burnt her throat, she chugged away happily knowing that she'd win the confidence of the twins. However she was not drunk enough to reveal the secret she'd used to solve the logic puzzle that Snape had set. As the twins racked their brains all night on how to get the answer out, she'd giggled and watched the older boys run circles around her. Finally Fred had surprised her by figuring it out. That was when she knew she liked him more. She still had trouble telling them apart but she did like him more for sure.
The next day on the train as they headed home she promised to write to Harry and Ron. Over the summer she'd kept her word and also wrote to Fred and George but mostly to Fred. The best part, he wrote back, unlike the boys.
It's a really short chapter to start off but I will be uploading weekly!
