This is a story about how lives of Twilight Sparkle's world and the lives of the humans changed is also tells how the people of both learned to live together but also the struggles that would come from the unexpected encounter. In this story the vast majority of Friendship is magic characters are included in this story.One day I plan to make this story into animation.

5. Chapter 6

Chapter 6 The New Age(The Horizon Age)

The is now celebrating the ten year anniversary of the end of the war and there were a lot who attended including the Alliance council, vince admiral Cameron Sheridan, Henry Lancer along with son Jonathan and some new faces such as ambassador Haven along with her daughters Zipp and Pipp, finance minister Alphabittle the legal guardian of Izzy, head of the tech company canterlogic Phyllis Cloverleaf with her son sprout also being the parental escort of Hitch and the Alliance's new rising star historian Argyle Starshine with his daughter Sunny. Cameron suggested to Henry to have his son to meet these little ponies, as the adults talk about different topics and it was hard to believe it had been ten years since the war had ended. While the Adults were talking Jonathan and the little ponies talk about their lives and their families, after hearing Zipps and Pipps story the others kids sympathize with them, Sunny while she loved her father said it's not easy being the daughter of the Alliance's new star historian, Sprout also said it's not easy being the son of the best Alliance inventor and Jonathan stated it's not easy being the son of Henry Lancer the creator Alliance's new fusion drive for the new exploratory starships. The kids surprisingly found a way to bond then Jonathan had an idea that they should join become officers for the ASS Enterprize once construction was completed so that way they will no long be in their families shadows, Zipp and Pipp had consures about tell their mother because they think their mother wouldn't approve or worse she wouldn't care, Sprout had the same believe that his mother wouldn't approve. While Sunny, Hitch and Izzy believed their families would approve because of how close they are with their respective families to which Jonathan said that he was already a cadet in the newly constructed Galaxy fleet academy and was planning to command the Enterprise because he wanted to help bring the mission of the humans arks original mission back to life after being put on hold since the humans first arrived to this world.

Since the war ended the alliance would now focus on construction of a new generation of star ship for exploration and would be completed by the turn of the century. Fifteen years had passed since the meeting of Sunny,Izzy,Hitch,Zipp,Pipp,Sprout and Jonathan, Jonathan was a commander in Galaxy fleet and was the test flight supervisor for the fusion drive engine and disappointed on the inside that his friend Aron Robinson would be the test pilot instead of Jonathan. The one who notified Jonanthan was commodore Maxwell Redwood who did understand Jonathan's disappointment because it is the engine his father built and is Jonathan's dream to fly with his fathers engine. Later that night Jonathan went to Carbon Creek bar and grill a location were a lot of Alliance military and Galaxy fleet officers hangout, Jonathan was drinking a pint of beer when five familiar faces entered everyone turn to find a bunch of cads had entered, cads was slang for cadets and these cadets were from the Galaxy fleet academy and when they saw Jonathan was there they called out his name when he turned around he saw it was Sunny,Izzy and Hitch along with Zipp and Pipp under the aliases Piper Perce and Zeta Stark. The reason why Zipp and Pipp had aliases is because they did not want their mother to know they were in Galaxy fleet academy, so the cadets want to catch up with their old friend who still remembered they talk the five cadets were shocked that Jonathan was not made the test next day Jonathon was observing the flight test for the fusion drive engine however as soon as Robinson reach mark 3.5 the ship for the test flight was began to fall apart, Robinson made it out but the test flight ship was destroyed. As Robinson caught a breather Commander Lancer asked what happened to which Robinson said he was not sure yet because in past flights there were some turbulence but it would not last long however for the pasted six months things they have been getting a few bugs more frequently to which the fusion drive flight test supervisor for the last six months arrived to notify them she is going to request the program be strapped to which Jonathan and Robinson replied saying it is just a small set back but the rear admiral believed that they have not been producing results. That night the fusion drive flight team went Carbon Creek to drink their problems away but before they could order drinks they ran into military officers from Alliance army and air force plus Jonathan noticed Sunny,Izzy,Hitch,Zipp and Pipp had arrived. When the five cadets saw Jonathan they noticed he was upset about something so they asked what was wrong to which he said that the test flight program supervisor said she going to request the fusion drive program be shut down which surprised everyone in the bar to which everyone replied saying that Jonathan had work towards his goal his whole life and stated that if he talk to the rear admiral he could convince her but Jonathan then stated not this rear admiral because it was Opaline Arcana which surprised everyone because out of Alliance military officers in the army,air forces or the exo fleet agree that Opaline is the most untrusted officer in Alliance history. The next morning all Alliance fleet officers watching the screen wherever they are seeing the meeting of the Alliance admiralty, a meeting of all admiral rank officers. This meeting was to determine the continuation or scrapping of the fusion drive engine flight program, while Opaline gave a good reason for shutting down the fusion drive program Grand Admiral Sheridan would the fusion drive team one more chance and if they fail he would shut it down himself however he stated that as long as he is alive and has supporters Opaline will never get funding for her war atomiton program. Once the meeting ended Opaline left then the admiralty then asked Sheridan why do they put with as well having her be part of the military because no military officer trust her to which Cameron said an investigation is underway but said only the head of each branch of the Alliance military have the clearance level to know the that night Cameron contacted Jonathan to make sure the test flight succeeds at any cost which was a favour from one family member to another and also an official order to which Jonathan accepted. Jonathan then contacted Sunny,Izzy,Hitch,Pipp and Zipp to ask them for their help not as a superior officer but a favour from an old, the five cadets asked what was the favour to which Jonathan said it was to make the fusion drive engine test flight program continues, it was 6:00am two and half hours before the test flight that will determine if the fusion drive flight program will continue or be shut down. After an hour and fifteen minutes working to make sure this test flight succeeds, then Izzy and Zipp found something unexpected, what two had found was evidence of sabotage shocking everyone in the room, Jonathan then asked everyone to find out who has been sabotaging the fusion drive engine, after forty five minutes Hitch,Zipp,Izzy and Pipp found evidence that Misty Brightdawn the adjutant of rear admiral Opaline proof that has been sabotaging the flight program ever since she became the supervisor of fusion drive flight program. For the remaining hour before the flight that will determine the future Jonathan and the five cadets would spend checking the craft as many times before the final test flight. The flight test was about to being with Opaline and Cameron watching the end result of this final test flight, the test flight now began as the testing craft reached mark three things were in the green but however Opaline and Cameron would see the test as a success when the craft reach mark 4.5, Jonathan then reached mark four still in the green. Jonathan then reached mark 4.5 which made the whole flight crew cheer in excitement because they successfully made the quota then Jonathan decided to push a little more which shocked everyone, the flight craft was torn apart after the craft reached mark 5.4 which shocked everyone for a second time. Jonathan managed to make it unharmed, because he did not have approval to reach mark 5 and higher thus now Jonathan was grounded for two years but Cameron said he did good. Jonathan then asked admiral Sheridan that Opaline to leave the room because he had important matter to disguise with Sheridan, Opaline objected to which grand admiral Sheridan said she has no right because she failed to produce results for the last six months thus Sheridan removed her as supervisor of the fusion drive flight program and asked that she leaves and take her adjutant with then told admiral Sheridan that he and the five cadets found acts of sabotage and opaline was behind all of it for the last six months which shock everyone in the room but the more they thought about and looking over the last six months of test flights they were shock at what Jonathan and the cadets had found. Cameron thanked Jonathan for finding this evidence to which Jonathan then asked what he was going to do with Opaline now to which admiral Sheridan said that is classified except for military heads of the Alliance only. Later that night Opaline was outraged by being disrespected by commander Lancer and being scolded for her failures by Grand admiral Sheridan Opaline began scheming on her next plan but then soldiers of the Alliance military abruptly entered her quarters to arrest her for treason against the Alliance. Opaline then said that this discrimination but grand admiral said the reason she is being accused of treason is not for being an alicore but because she has been under investigation for corruption since the beginning of her military career. Opaline was then brought before her military tribunal which was being broadcasted to the whole Alliance, her trial was taking place in an unknown location to the Alliance then a voice said in the name of the Alliance this tribunal is hereby called to order, then one by one the judges of this trial were being revealed, they were the general of the Army Scorn Dracul, grand Marshal of the Gloria Skyheart and Commander of the exo fleet Grand Admiral Cameron Sheridan, Jonathan realized the three military leaders were also members of the trimilitis council a rumeried board of the highest ranking military officers. The Alliance then learned it was founded by Alexander Sheridan,Sea Spray and Spitfire. General Scorn would start with Opaline's first atrocity which dolphina, a hippogriff has now testified for Opaline's first crime which willingly launched an attack on Naxis the capital city of the planet beyond the stone belt Terminis where over one million civilians lost their life. Grand Marshal Skyheart continued with Opaline's second atrocity which was proven by a human name Wang Greenhill, Opaline second atrocity was the insighting and funded the civil war on Terminis to mine their raw minerals with restriction resulting in the death of 3.25 Terinians. Grand admiral Sheridan end with her crimes against the Alliance through acts of sabotage and an attempt to usurp the government through an illegal and violent coup d'état, before the three discuss the verdict they asked Opaline if she had anything to say to which she insult everything the Alliance stands for like equality for the masses and sharing with others race believing that she should rule over all having the people love and fear her. As the trimilitis council discussed the verdict agreeing that she is guilty but not sure what do with like send her to prison, exiling her to Terminis but Sheridan then said this trial reminds him of what happened just after the human presidential elect when Alexander spared Anton's life and how that one event is what made the Alliance what it is today, the other two military heads decided that Cameron should deliver the verdict, Sheridan then commented that this trial reminded of the day Alexander Sheridan spared Anton's life and that one event lead to the Acan-sinner war that also made the Alliance what is today, so Cameron said in the name Alliance this tribunal finds you Opaline guilty of all charges but before Sheridan delivers the sentence he ask they remove Opaline's restaurants, Opaline the tries to kill everyone in the room starting Jonathan but as she was about to kill him everyone hears a gunshot, they all turned to find it was Sheridan who fire to opaline said you just wasted your to which Jonathan said he didn't waste it, then the empty bullet casing came out reveling it to be an anti-magic bullet, Sheridan then said the sentance is death to which Opaline tore her shirt to see Sheridan shot her heart then Opaline last words were well played Sheridan, Opaline the dies after falling to the ground. As for Misty she would be demoted to the rank of a non commissioned officer and be place under the commander Commander, with the end of the trial Sheridan, Gloria and Scorn rewarded those who help exposing Opaline's treachery as for Commander Lancer Sheridan gave him the opinion to pick his reward but everyone in Alliance know Jonathan only want one thing that being commanding the Enterprise, to admiral Sheridan found a reasonable request. The turn of the century has come and Jonathan is now Captain. Captain Lancer was asked to give a speech at the graduation class of 200 AGC and was the one handing the graduation certificate for the graduate students and the first was Sunny Starscot she received a degree in science and navigation, second was Izzy Moonbow who received a degree in practical and theoretical engineering, third was Hitch Trailblazer who received a degree in military tactics and intelligences then Piper Perce and Zeta Storm, Lancer said the sisters real names, Pipp Petals received a degree in communication and linguistics and Zipp Storm received a degree in military tactics and intelligences plus science. After announcing the the real names of the sisters Jonathan then told the crowd why Pipp and Zipp had alias so that their mother would not learn they both were plan to join Galaxy fleet, after graduation ambassador Haven arrived to ask her daughter why join the academy, Pipp first answer while at first it was to see how the lives of military cadets live but after a month both Pipp and Zipp felt the military was were they belonged, to which Haven showed concern for her daughters to Pipp replied saying Haven cares more about career and status then said that when Pipp was younger she got sick and remembers that her mother never came to she her, Pipp then ran out of the room with Zipp following her after saying she feels the same as her sister, what the three did not know Jonathan had a camera recording the whole to show everyone why Pipp and Zipp talk about their caught to the Pipp and Zipp, the two sisters were just sitting so Jonathan decided to ask to sit with them, he then told them their argument with their mother reminds him of Alexander Sheridan and his son Michael, like Pipp, Zipp and their mother both Alexander and Michael had a tense relationship with each other and it took a promise Alexander made to his daughter and Alexander's near death experience to mend the relationship with his Haven arrived to apologize for not knowing that she had hurt the two sisters. After Haven apologized she gave her daughters her blessing to join the Galaxy fleet.

The day for launch of the A.S.S Enterprise had arrived. Admiral Redwood made a speech after the lose of earth caused by the great collision humanity learn they weren't alone in multiverse and thanks to their new friends the other member races of the Alliance about how far they had all come and would not have been possible with people like Twilight Sparkle, Councilor Alexander Sheridan and Henry Lancer who help create the engine for A.S.S Enterprise so it was only fitting that his son Johnathon would command the Enterprise. Admiral Redwood passed the next part of the speech to Grand admiral Sheridan who commented about how much the Alliance had enjoyed the last thirty years of peace that it fought so hard and so he asked for a moment of silence for the people who gave their lives for the Alliance, Sheridan passed the final part of the speech to Lancer who was glad to live long enough to see his work come to life, as the ship was launching ended the speech by playing a recording of Alexander Sheridan from the dedication celebration for the fusion drive engine a hundred seventy years, the recording Alexander made said on this sight a new engine will be built an to help us travel faster than we could ever dream, just imagine countless inhabitable world within our reach to meet new civilizations this engine will lets us go boldly to the possible worlds of the our imagination. This story ends with Jonathan quoting a movie second star on the right straight on till morning to which Sunny said that the ship has detected an Ion storm ahead should I go around to which Caption Lancer said we can't be afraid of the wind, let's see what's out there beyond the Horizon.
