HIGH SCHOOL, TO PUT IT SIMPLY, DID NOT MATTER IN THE REAL WORLD.
Ofcourse, when you're a teenager spending the majority of your hours there, it would feel like it mattered. From academics to extracurriculars, school was basically your entire life.
Or, at least, education seemed to be the main part of high school. However, for the students that attending high school—in this case, Hope's Peak High School—they knew that was far from the case.
Hope's Peak High was pretty much a local jungle for teenagers; a social hierarchy designed to make or break people. A label was slapped onto you. You know, because god forbidan actual person existed.
Labels eventually turned into masks; everyone had them. Sure, some masks were easier to break than others, but they were still masks nonetheless.
Masks led to secrets, which built up to drama, culminating in an event that would eventually go down in Hope's Peak History. An event of self-discovery, self-reflection, and everything in between.
And although the students involved have grown up and matured, the lessons they've learned will stick indefinitely.
