There is nothing better than a lie,
At this point Marinette thought this was Lila's life goal.
Ah yes, to be woken up by one of Lila's lies was Marinette's favorite.
Marinette opened her eyes to see a dark room, she woke up from a nightmare. Tikki was still sleeping, but one thing Marinette noticed was a black butterfly flapping towards her. Before she could do anything her mind went blank. A voice started speaking, "My my, what do we have here? Hurt by the ones who love you, the ones you love, We can't have that. Princess Justice, I give you the power to uncover every lie you see fit and bring justice to your problem. All you have to do is bring me Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous," The voice ends. All she can reply is, "But, what will happen if I make a mistake?" She ask's. This surprised the other man speaking, no one had ever been able to speak while transforming. He simply replied, "You can't make another mistake my child, I am going to make sure of that. I promise," He honestly felt bad for the girl. But all he could hear in response was, "Yes Hawkmoth,"
8 days earlier
Marinette was woken up to her blaring alarm. "Tikki wake up, it's time to get up." She whispered. Tikki soon woke up and yawned as Marinette was getting dressed. She had decided to wear something different today, she was wearing a pink dress that hung just above her knees, it had some floral decorations all over it. She had also placed her midnight blue hair up in a bun and she was sporting some glasses. Her eyes had been hurting from the contacts so she had switched to her glasses. She grabbed her purse and threw Tikki a cookie. "Come on Tikki, hurry up or we'll be late," Marinette hurried. Tikki just smiled and flew into her purse. "We're an hour early, Calm down Marinette," Tikki said, in her normal squeaky voice.
10 minutes later Marinette appeared in Ms. Bustier's classroom. She had been moved to the back alone. She sat some macaroons on everyone's desk. She pulled out her Bluetooth headphones and started playing her music while studying. The hour past like no time and she had managed to get all of her school work done and most of her essay completed. Marinette hadn't seen everyone start coming in class. She also didn't notice Alya approaching her. Marinette ended up screaming when Alya took off her headphones and said 'boo'. It got the small amount of people there laughing. It took Marinette a few minutes to regain her composure and Alya went back to heer seat. A few minutes later everyone sat down and Ms. Bustier was starting class. The rest of the day went by as normal. Then before she knew it, it was time for her to go home. She started walking out of the classroom and then she ran into Lila. Lila looked up from her phone and smiled cruelly towards Marinette, she spoke with venom covering every word she spoke, "I was just looking for you Marinette! Can you come speak with me in private please?" Marinette just gave a short nod and followed Lila to an alleyway behind the school. As soon as they got there Marinette got met with a slap. "I told you to stop talking to Alya. She's supposed to be my friend not yours! You have no more chances left now. I am going to make your life miserable," After Lila finished talking she left the alleyway. Leaving a crying Marinette behind.
A week later
Lila wasn't lying for once. She kept her promise, the whole class hated her, besides Adrien and Chloe. They were smart enough to believe Marinette. Lila had spun up a lie that Marinette was bullying her and that Marinette had threatened her. It was the end of the day and Marinette was walking home when she heard someone scream out 'AKUMA'. She immediately ran to an alleyway and said her famous three words. "Tikki, spot on!" Soon enough she was transformed into Ladybug. She ran into the streets and started swinging down the streets with her yo-yo until she came face to face with Lady WIFI. Cat Noir had joined her not even a minute later. "She's back?!" Cat Noir exclaimed in an annoyed voice. All Ladybug did was nod as she charged at Lady WIFI, tying her up with her Yo-yo. "Electric dampening yoyo, you shouldn't be teleporting out of her anytime soon," Ladybug said with a cold tone looking down at her, she then continued, "Anyway, what do you want with France?" The response she got, "What do you think? I'm supposed to get your jewelry and then I can kill that blue haired liar."
Ladybug paused, face going pale before she grabbed the phone on Lady WIFI's belt. She crushed it. The same frightened expression on her face as she purified the butterfly. She spoke in a calm voice, "Bye bye little butterfly," As she said that a horde of Ladybugs came into the city fixing everything that Lady WIFI had destroyed. Cat Noir noticed Ladybug's face and he went straight over to her.
As he spoke, she could hear the concern lacing his tone, "Bugaboo are you okay?" She replied in a hush tone. "I'm fine, I just have to go, remember? We are about to detransform," after she said that she started swinging away. Right after she got inside her room she transformed and collapsed on her bed. "Ugh, Tikki this is too much. Not only am I one of two people who have to save all of Paris, but now the people who I thought of as my friends are getting akumatized and are after me," She said after Tikki had come and sat next to her.
Then all of a sudden Marinette led down under the covers. "Let's just sleep Tikki," she said in a tired voice. Tikki only led down with a nod and they both fell asleep.

She stood up taking out the earrings as she started to turn. Her hair was long and curly. Her jeans and shirt turn into a white dress with purple flowers. She was wearing white flats. She also had a pair of purple wings and White gloves. She also had white Iris's and a Purple Staff. She looked up at the Midnight sky and let out a sigh. "I hope I don't disappoint you, Hawk Moth," she said in a cautious voice.
She then started leaping from roof to roof. She could see every lie that people told, and she started to tear up. "So many people are being lied to, it's sad they can't see it." She said in a somber tone. She landed at the Eiffel tower as she kept hearing all of the lies. Then she heard something land behind her, she kept talking. "The world's sugar coated. People don't deserve all of these lies," She let a tear fall down her face.
Cat Noir then walked over to her. "Can we make this easy while you give me your Akuma, Purr-incess?" He said, in a teasing tone. "I can't fail him too; he believed in me without lying. Why would I give in to you and lose the one person who believed in me?" She said, no room of lying evident in his voice. She then walked over to him and swiftly pulled off the ring without him noticing. "You should pay attention to who you trust. Lies fill the air," she said as she disappeared. Cat Noir was shocked as he transformed.
Then Princess Justice appeared behind Hawk moth with both miraculous. "I did it. I got them both Sir," she said, with a nervous tone. He turned around and hugged her. He then spoke, "You made me proud Marinette, you really did." She hugged him back as tears fell from her eyes. "They won't stop for the lies," she said. He just shushed her as he made his wish with the miraculous.
Then everything changed.
Marinette woke up remembering everything, yet something was different. She got up and walked through the big room to her huge mirror. She said she had long blonde hair. She walked out of the big room while wearing a white dress with the same purple flowers. She walked down the stairs to the dinner room. She saw Garbiel Agreste there waiting for her. "What happened?" She asked, confused.
He Immediately got up and ran to her, hugging her. "I wish to give you a happy childhood. To give you a happy life. To make you happy." He spoke. He then looked down at her. "You are now my daughter Marinette Agreste." She looked surprised and spoke with a confused tone. "What about Adrian? And everyone else?" He chuckled and spoke again. "He always wanted a normal childhood. Everyone else knows Adrian as Adrian Dupain-Chang. They know you as Marinette Agreste and today is your first day at that school. You are worth every ounce of my wish." She started tearing up as she hugged him back thanking him. He chuckled before starting to talk again. "Now go get dressed missy! Also remember, the model company wants to see you model some of your clothing line at 5pm." She then ran off giggling while closing her room door.
She dressed herself up in a purple dress with a White fade on it. She put on White flats and some Butterfly earrings. She then braided her hair back into a beautiful butch braid. She then grabbed her white bag and ran downstairs grabbing her purple glasses on the way down. "Bye dad! I have to get to school before classes start!" She yelled as she ran outside. He could hear a mumbled 'I love you!'. His heart melted as he saw her grin massively.
He saw life in her eyes and made a promise to never let anyone steal that shine.
