Author's note: Just in case you are wondering about the time jump in the last chapter I rated the story pg-13. I don't want to make it M for dirty scenes so you can picture what happened behind closed doors. Also this next chapter is taking place 2 mounts in the future, though I would say it since it is a big time jump. Also this chapter is pretty short column't think how to merge it into another,

Chapter 5

Sookie found a small house in Shreveport finally. She chose this one for one particular reason. A furnished basement. She didn't want Eric running home every night because of the sun. The house isn't very big but it doesn't need to be. Now with Eric kids probably won't be in her future, she didn't see herself as a mother anyway. A two bedroom house, with the guess room being part of the basement. Kitchen is just 4 feet of counter with the normal appliances. Then a small living area that she probably wouldn't use anyway.

Sookie reached for her phone to call her brother.

"Hey Jason all moved in"

"Good I am happy you are finally out of that run down farmhouse"

"Hey we both lived there for years"

"I know"

"I do have a guest room now as well if you ever want to come visit. Since I know it is a long drive and all"

"How about this weekend? I can meet your boyfriend when I am there as well"

"Oh that sounded great."

That weekend

"Oh hello Jason, please home in"

"Hello, is he here yet?"

"Oh no he won't be here until 7, he is glued into the night shift you know"

"Oh okay, where should I put these bags?"

"The guess room is downstairs"

"Alright"

3 hours later

"Oh hello Eric please come in."

"This is my brother, Jason"

"Nice to meet you jason" Eric said with a smile

"You too, how long have you been with my sister"

"Just about 3 months"

"Wow that is a record, Sookie here usually scares guys away now"

All three of them laughed at that. It is definitely hard to keep a guy around when you always know what they are thinking. That your hair isn't blonde enough, that you aren't pretty but they can't get anyone who is, and any other not so great things they think about her. Of course Jason doesn't know she can't hear Eric's thoughts nor does he know Eric is a vampire. Thankfully he bought that night shift thing.. I don't know how he would react if he found out. Scared out of his mind, angry, whatever he would think about it I doubt it would be feelings of joy.

"So now let's go out" Sookie said racing the other two out the door.
