Chapter 6 More Kanto Pokemon

After getting back to Route 4, they decide to either train their Pokemon or have Lillie take a rest because of her pregnancy. They manage to find a Sandshrew with the Arceus Mark and capture it. And they evolve it into a Sandslash.

"So Sandshrew evolves into Sandslash by training... this sure is different from the Alola Region." Lillie says.

"I remember that in Alola, they evolve using Ice Stones." Insey says.

Then they all head to Route 22 and they are ambushed by a Team Rocket grunt, much to their horror, the grunt is using two Nidorans with Arceus marks. Fortunately, the two Nidoran refuse to fight and thus the grunt is killed by Insey.

"Those two seem to have been abused..." Lillie says with a frown.

"It's all right, you two." Ash tries to cheer the two Nidoran up, and they decide to heal the Pokemon and also rest in the area for 6 days. While resting, Ash asks, "So how did you two get caught by Team Rocket grunts?"

"We have been captured by them for a long time, but because of our marks, we weren't like the other Pokemon who were brainwashed by the evil teams. We still managed to stay who we are and eventually, you saved us." The female Nidoran says.

"And it is also a good thing that the two of us are together, I would be angry if I was separated from my love." The male Nidoran says, which causes the female one to blush.

Ash says, "You know, Lillie. Since we have been capturing a lot of couple Pokemon, how about we just share our Pokemon instead?"

"Can we actually do that?" Lillie asks with surprise.

"If you want to, I can just call Professor Eve to help us out." Ash says.

Lillie nods as she wants to become strong with Ash's Pokemon as well, so Ash calls Eve and they manage to change Lillie's Pokedex and they have a joint account. Then they decide to stay by the two Pokemon's side until they recover. It takes 2 days for them to recover and they spend 4 more days to train them.

During the six days of training, Insey also decides to enter Mt. Moon to help Ash and Lillie find two Moon Stones, and after searching for hours, she comes out with two Moon Stones in her hands. "Look what I've found."

"Nice, Insey." Ash says. And once they evolve into Nidorino and Nidorina, they use the two Moon Stones on Nidorina and Nidorino, evolving them into Nidoqueen and Nidoking.

"Now both of you look pretty strong." Ash says, and the two Pokemon growl in agreement.

After staying leaving Route 22, they decide to get inside Mt. Moon. Once they arrive at Moon Square, they manage to find a Clefable that Ash met before in Mt. Moon.

"I see you also have the Arceus Mark, does that mean you want to join us?" Ash asks.

"Of course, Team Rocket has been trying to steal Moon Stone for years, we can't let them." Clefable says.

"But still... I can't believe you're a Clefable... I wish that you were a Clefairy..."

"I'm sorry, Lillie. But Mt. Moon is filled with Moon Stones and I evolved into a Clefable a lot of years ago when Team Rocket destroyed the giant Moon Stone and a lot of us are in contact with it."

Ash says, "I still remember that, it sure brings back old memories."

Besides training, they also try to stop Team Rocket from stealing the Moon Stones as well.

"It's a good thing that we have the helicopter by our side, although the bad thing is that we need to protect it from Team Rocket. So where are we going next?" Insey asks.

"We are going to Route 8, it might be Team Wither's territory, but as long as we're careful, it should be fine." Ash says.

Once they arrive at Route 8, the Pokemon they are looking for is a Vulpix with the Arceus Mark. Snowy is happy to see a fellow Vulpix with them, and the two of them become best friends.

"So you are an Alolan Vulpix..." Vulpix says, "You look really different from the other Vulpix that I've seen."

"I guess I'm really that special." Snowy replies. "But I think I'm also weak to your type."

"Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you. Recently, I've been ambushed by some Team Wither Grunts, but I decided to put them to sleep using Hypnosis." Vulpix says.

"Really? But Hypnosis only puts them to sleep... we still need to make sure they are not going to be a problem for us." Pikachu says.

"And I also hope to evolve into a Ninetales, but Team Rocket and Team Wither took all the Fire Stones and put them into that department store in the city." Vulpix frowns.

"Wait, you mean Team Rocket and Team Wither take over the Celadon Department Store?" Insey asks.

"More like the government gives them the privileges to use that place, but we still can go in and purchase some stuff, or maybe better, we can try to steal the stones." Ash says.

"So you want to be a Ninetales? My trainer has an Ice Stone and I could've been a Ninetales as well, but I was nervous and not ready yet. How were you so sure that you're ready to evolve?"

"I heard from my friends that Evolution is not that scary. You just need to have more faith in yourself." Vulpix replies.

Vulpix is also helpful when facing Team Wither's grunts since they specialize in Grass Type Pokemon. And Insey also manages to sneak into the Celadon Department store and snatches a Fire Stone, evolving Vulpix into a Ninetales.

Ash's Ninetales: Ability: Flash Fire Moves: Captivate, Fire Blast, Hypnosis, Hex, Payback, Sunny Day

"So it has Flash Fire, which means Ninetales won't be hit by Fire Type moves." Lillie says.

"And Ninetales looks so cool, don't you think so, Snowy?" Ash asks, and Snowy nods in agreement.

Then they decide to quickly flee and head back to Route 3. And just before they can rest, they find a Wigglytuff coming to them with a microphone. Ash says, "Wait, Jigglypuff evolved?"

"But the microphone is still there..." Lillie panics a little.

"Pikachu! Use Quick Attack and grab the Microphone!" Ash yells, and Pikachu manages to grab the microphone, Wigglytuff is angry as it tries to use Double Slap on Pikachu, Insey says, "You know what, if the problem is its singing, then just use Throat Chop."

Then she does it, and Wigglytuff gasps as it can't sing, it starts to cry, and Ash hugs it and says, "Wigglytuff, you have to understand, it's not like we don't like your voice, but your voice is the reason why we fall asleep, didn't Komala teach you that?"

Wigglytuff sniffs, "But..."

"You will need to learn a different song, and maybe we can help you with that." Ash says.

Wigglytuff reluctantly agrees, and Ash says, "This marker used to be mine, at least I managed to get it back."

Then they also capture the Wigglytuff, and they also try to teach Wigglytuff some other songs for a day. Wigglytuff's singing also helps stop Team Rocket from attacking them.

Back in Mt. Moon, they capture a Zubat and spend 2 days training it into a Crobat. Lillie says, "So Golbat evolves into Crobat with high friendship. That's good to know."

"Yeah... and to think it's already 42 days since we come to Kanto... which means there are only 108 days left before our wedding." Ash says.

"You're right about that." Lillie says. Pikachu, Sylveon, and Snowy are also chatting as Snowy says, "When are we going to move further from Team Rocket's territory?"

Sylveon says, "We're not sure, there are still a lot of Pokemon with these marks out there in the Kanto Region, and we have a number of 108 days left to find them."

Ash's Crobat: Ability: Infiltrator Move: Quick Guard, Haze, Cross Poison, Air Slash, Leech Life, Confuse Ray

Then they manage to head to Route 24, they manage to use Gloom's smell to scare away Team Rocket grunts, and they also manage to capture the Gloom with the Arceus Mark.

"Brother, I think you should have these, I managed to steal more Evolution Stones from the Celadon Department Store, which was taken over by Team Rocket." Insey says while giving them the bag.

"Thanks, Insey." Ash says as he uses the Leaf Stone on Gloom, evolving it into a Vileplume.

And after training for 3 days, they get a call from East that Team Wither was attacking Mt. Moon, groaning as they just left there 3 days ago, they also go back and help them stop Team Wither, they also manage to kill a grunt who holds a Paras that has an Arceus Mark. The Paras also join Ash and Lillie after thanking them for saving him.

"I heard that the true body of Paras is the mushroom instead of the bug body..." Lillie says.

"You're right about that, those mushrooms are called Tochukaso. They grow large by drawing nutrients from this Bug/Grass Pokémon host. They are highly valued as a medicine for extending life." Insey says.

Ash says, "If you don't know, Insey is also a Gym Leader back in the Sevestar Region, she specializes in Bug Type Pokemon and her signature Pokemon is a Scizor."

"Wait, if you're a gym leader, then are you sure it's fine for you to travel with us?" Lillie asks.

"You're right about that, to be honest, after 3 more days, I need to go back to my gym. But at the same time, Minami will come and help you instead."

"I see." Ash says, then they also train the Paras and evolve the Pokemon into Parasect.

And for the last two days of Insey, they head to Route 12, and they manage to find a Venonat. They also spend two days training the Venonat and evolving it into a Venomoth.

"For some reason, I always wonder if Butterfree and Venomoth should be changed... I mean the eyes... Venomoth's eyes look like Caterpie and Venonat's eyes look like Butterfree..."

"I know what you mean, but for some reason, that's not the case..." Ash says.

"Minami is coming, so I guess it is time for me to leave." Insey says.

"You're not going to meet her?" Lillie asks.

"Nah, we'll meet very soon again." Insey says as she leaves with the helicopter.

Here is a new chapter, and in this chapter, you can see that there are more Pokemon conversations and also more Pokemon capturing. Team Rocket and Team Wither also try to interfere with Ash and the group, and I also reveal more of Ash's Pokemon and his moveset.
