After helping the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy defeat Thanos, the Fantastic Four are making a portal to explore the Quantum Realm when their evil counterparts, the Frightful Four, steal the power core that the portal runs on. Now the two teams will clash in a battle that decides the fate of the Quantum Realm.

After the Fantastic Four made a new Quantum portal, they turned it on but someone else came out of it.

"Who are you?" Reed asked.

"Just a man. Who's lost a lot of time." the man replied. "Call me Kang."
