Okay, so cause obviously I don't read the rules for Flufftober but as I know now, I can do a multi-chapter for this which is my strength, so for the remainder of the days, I will be doing a multi-chapter for both Flufftober and Whumptober and combining the prompts. So for Flufftober, the prompt for this chapter is 'All the Hugs'. And for whumptober, the one I used is 'blood covered hands'. This was a ton of fun to write and there is some steamy stuff. I cannot describe it as smut as it's more in Keith's mind.

1. Something There

How had he ended up in here? With Allura, of all people, while being on a combined Blades and Team Voltron mission. Keith had to admit it had been a little weird, acting as an ally to Voltron instead of being a part of it but he had pushed that feeling aside because gathering this intel was very important. But the mission had gone wrong, and they had all ended up separated. Just as he had been about to be captured, Allura had appeared, attempting to pull him aside but something had pushed onto his back, causing them to stumble into a broom closet with rather dim light. He was trying to pick the lock, but he couldn't see very well. Their bodies brushed up against each other and although he tried to move back, it was near impossible right now. In this light, he could only see her face with sweat beading down the side of her face and her eyes shone, even in the darkness of the closet. A part of him wished to wrap his arms around her, to pull her even closer, an urge to hold her that made his heart start to beat a little bit faster.

Keith, this is your friend. Your team-mate. What are you doing, thinking these things? She might smack you for thinking that way about her. Still, his eyes subconsciously travelled down her neck and even lower, down to her chest. The beating of his heart increased, and he forced himself to avert his gaze. To look down at the ground as he tried to gather himself. He had never thought of any woman before in this way and this was really not the time to be thinking of Allura like…well, he wasn't completely sure but whatever it was could wait.

"Keith, are you alright?" Allura's voice was barely above a whisper but because they were standing with hardly any space between the two of them, her breath trickled the side of his face, and he could feel the blood rush to his cheeks. It wasn't like Allura was blowing out hot air then why were his cheeks so warm?

It was not like that they had never been close before. The hug they shared after she had apologised, they were close, and their bodies were touching but this was different. He would give her all the hugs in the world than be in this situation in which he was sure Allura could feel how fast his heart was racing.

"I'm okay," Keith managed to get out, albeit his words stumbled. "Are you hurt?"

"N-no," Allura whispered breathily but something about her voice was off. Was she claustrophobic? Cold? Maybe he could…trying to move turned out to be a bad idea because the two of them were so tightly cramped that his leg knocked into hers causing her to visibly flinch.

"Allura?" Keith whispered, embarrassment at their situation dying completely. He would normally never try anything like this, but she was hurt. He could tell. Allura was a lot like Shiro in this way, she would repress her pain until it became obvious. He allowed his hand to travel down to her lower thigh, causing his cheeks to heat up again despite the situation but that was just for a mere moment until he felt the liquid and the small scar. Not good. She was bleeding and needed medical aide fast, but he could barely see, let alone do anything more.

"Keith, what do you think you're doing?" Allura gasped out although her words stumbled and, in the light, he could see her face flush pink.

"You're bleeding," Keith said quietly. "We need to get out of here."

"Keith, we're…" Allura began but Keith cut her off.

"I know it's dangerous," Keith admitted. "There are centries outside and the moment we go outside, we'll be surrounded. But I need you to trust me." He knew she did trust him now, but this was a situation where they were willingly going to expose themselves. But he and Black were still friends, and he knew she would come whether Shiro was there or not.

"I do trust you but it's not so bad," Allura assured. "It's just a small scratch and…"

"We need to get out of here anyway," Keith said softly. "I'd rather do it quicker so we can look at your wound." He exhaled a bit. He knew she didn't want him to worry, and he wasn't the leader of Voltron anymore, but she was still his friend, and she was hurt. He blushed as she reached out and took his hand in her own and he squeezed it in turn. He cut through the entrance of the closet and as expected, the centries turned on them. He was able to cut a few of them down and Allura pulled her hand away to fight too. Even on an injured leg, she was able to hold off so well, but he didn't have the time to focus on this, not with having to fight. Luckily, they didn't have to fight long because Black broke through, pulling the two of them inside.

"Keith, are you alright?" Shiro asked, having already been in there.

Keith nodded. "I'm okay but Allura isn't." He moved to her side as she sat down, leaning against a wall, stretching her hurt leg at an angle so the wound would be somewhat visible.

That was good. Keith grabbed his Earth clothes which were stashed in the corner. He used his jacket to wipe his blood-covered hands before ripping off the sleeves of his undershirt and wrapping it around the gash on her leg, putting some pressure on it. "Tell me if I'm putting too much pressure. This will stop the bleeding."

Allura's face was a little pale and she nodded, curling into him, and resting her head against his chest as the lion stumbled. Keith let her, tying the wound with his remaining undershirt before wrapping an arm around her. Shiro could handle the fight for now, but he hoped they could get out of this without Voltron – which, with the help from the Blades was possible but he wasn't sure they hadn't left already. They were all about the mission, so if they had gathered the intel, they would have left. Allura didn't need to push herself right now, but if the four lions couldn't handle it, they would have no choice. He wasn't sure if Blue would accept him or Red at this point, given he had been away from the team for a while. Please, let us get through this.
