Cipher's Return
Note: This takes place immediately after episode 8 where Cipher managed to escape justice. Now, she has returned and has concocted a new scheme for world domination. Meanwhile, Dom and his crew have managed to track her down to an ancient Egyptian pyramid and have now entered the pyramid to confront her once and for all.
"I don't like this. Dom." Roman complained after he hit his foot on a rock in the dark." I don't like chasing psycho bitches in narrow spaces where we can be ambushed at any time. Are we sure this is not a trap?"
"I don't know, but we have to catch Cipher and bring her to justice. She can't be allowed to harm any more people!" The memory of Elena's death at the hands of this monster flashed in front of his eyes and shook him to the core. She had been shot mere meters in front of him and Cipher had threatened his baby son and had simply shushed at him.
Dom clenched his hands into fists. He was going to make that monster pay for everything.
Suddenly, they reached a big hall with something big and blue glowing at the center. When they came closer, they realized it was some kind of gigantic mirror which was surrounded by four golden snakes. Each of the snakes was biting the tail of another and this way they formed a circle around the glass.
"What the hell is that?" Letty asked, curiously studying the thing.
"I don't know but it looks mystical and filled with immense power." Dom said, looking closely at the mirror. He could sense a great power slumbering inside it and waiting to be released but he couldn't tell why he felt that way. He shook his head to clear off his thoughts.
"Everyone, look out!" Letty shouted but it was too late. A giant net fell from the roof on all of them and forced them to the ground. Before anyone could react, strong, electric pulses coursed through their systems and caused them unbearable agony.
Everyone screamed like they were being flayed alive. Dom also screamed with the rest of his team, his body threatening to explode from the sheer agony any second.
The world started blurring before his eyes and his shoulders and head drooped. He felt so weak, so powerless. He looked around and saw his teammates, groveling on the ground and blacking out.
Suddenly, he saw a woman approaching him gracefully, unmoved by the suffering of the people around her. She had a long, brilliant blond hair, which formed many dreadlocks and was pulled back into a long ponytail which reached below her shoulders. She had a slender figure, long legs and a pretty face with flawless skin which lacked any wrinkles or moles. Overall, the woman was really beautiful but there was something unsettling and evil about her.
"You?" Dom asked when he finally recognized. She kneeled before him and lifted his chin with her hand, staring intently with eyes. Dom had the feeling those eyes could pierce into his very soul and uncover all his secrets.
"Hello, Dom!" Cipher greeted with an evil smile while still holding his chin. "It's been a while!" Then Dom closed his eyes, and the entire world was engulfed in darkness.
…
When Dom finally opened his eyes, he saw that all his teammates were gagged, and their arms and legs were tied. He quickly realized that he himself was in the same position. He muffled, trying to say something but the clothing in his mouth prevented him.
"Ah, you are awake! Good, I have been waiting so long for this moment!" A female voice said, and Cipher appeared before his eyes.
Dom tried screaming at her, tried threatening her about what would happen to her if she so much as laid a finger on his family, but only more muffled sounds came from his mouth.
Cipher rolled her eyes and removed the clothing from his mouth and let him speak.
"You damn bitch! If you hurt my family, I will make you regret the day you were born!" Dom shouted at her as soon as his mouth was free.
"Is this how you greet an old acquittance, Dom? Or how you treat a lady?" Cipher pursed her lips mockingly. "Have to say, I am very disappointed! I expected better from you!"
"You are not a lady, trust me on that! I am an expert at women." Dom grinned at her. He was afraid but he wasn't going to show it her. He was going to provoke while making a plan to escape his bondage and overpower the bitch.
"As pleasant as it is to mince words with you, Dom, I believe you would like to know why I lured you here and what I plan to do with you and your… family." Cipher suggested, trying to hide her annoyance at Dom's earlier comment.
Dom was a little confused.
"You didn't lure us here. We tracked you down to this pyramid."
"I allowed you to track me down to this pyramid." Cipher corrected him with a smile much to Dom's dismay. This woman was a lot more cunning than he had expected. "Do you think I didn't know you were following or that I didn't want it to happen? This was all part of my plan."
"Plan for what?" Dom asked.
"Plan to enact revenge on you and your pathetic "family" for ruining my plans and to dominate the world." Cipher said. It was clear that she felt sure of herself and her victory. Dom really wanted to wipe that smirk off her face.
"You see this mirror, right Dom?" Cipher continued lecturing him. "According to legends, it can grant godlike powers to anyone… for a certain price."
"What price?" Dom wasn't sure he wanted to know the answer.
"Whoever wants to use the power of the mirror needs to sacrifice one human life and cover the glass with the victim's blood." At these words, Cipher's gaze shifted towards Letty, her unsettling smile never leaving her face.
"No, you can't do this!" Dom shouted desperately, barely holding back his tears. He knew what this psychopath, this demon was about to do.
"I am sorry Dom, but I just can't let you get away after you ruined my plans." Cipher said, still smiling. "But don't worry! After I have ascended to godhood, I will make sure to kill the rest of your family and then destroy all of New York. This is where you son is right now, is he not, Dom?"
"As for you, Dom, …" Cipher continued. "I will keep you as my personal slave for the rest of eternity. I will never miss an opportunity to remind you how you lost your entire family. You will never be able to forgive yourself for not being able to save them in time. And that, Dom, is a better revenge than I could have ever inflicted upon you as a mortal. What do you think?"
"No, don't, I will do anything, please! Just don't hurt them!" Dom looked desperately in the direction of his family. "They were scared, eyes wide-open and were struggling to get free, but to no avail. And Dom had no way to help them. He had failed them all!
"There is absolutely nothing you could offer me, Dom!" Cipher proclaimed triumphantly while going towards Letty, much to Dom's horror. "I have already won, and soon I will rule over the whole world with my new powers and no country would dare to oppose me… unless they want me to incinerate their cities of course. You can say goodbye to your girlfriend, Dom!" Cipher mockingly said.
Letty started making muffled noised from under the clothing as Cipher was approaching her. She was struggling to free herself, but all her attempts were futile. Dom had to help her somehow. He couldn't let his love die like that! She was too young and too innocent!
"Cipher, if you want revenge on me, sacrifice me, not her!" Dom screamed after her.
"Dom, don't you understand this yet?" Cipher stopped for a moment, centimeters from Letty who was lying on the floor and still struggling to ger free. "I am taking revenge on you. By hurting your family, I am inflicting a greater revenge than by just killing you. There is nothing more valuable to you than your family, not even your own life. That's why I am taking them away from you. You will spend an eternity filled with sorrow and regrets and the only person who will be with you is me."
Cipher hit Letty once in the head to make her stop wiggling and then took her body and carried her right before the mirror. She then shot her once in the head while Letty was trying to say something from under the clothing. Her body immediately went limp
Dom roared in defeat and started sobbing. His vision was blurred, and he barely registered anything that happened around him. He didn't realize that his friends were shouting Letty's name and were cursing Cipher, nor that Cipher put a finger inside Letty's wound and started painting the glass with blood.
As soon as she did that, the mirror came to life and started emanating violet energies which caused everyone to cover their eyes for a moment. As for Cipher herself, she welcomed the sight and shouted in excitement.
"Yes, I have waited for this moment for so long. Give me the power that I deserve! Give me the power to rule the world!"
The violet energies immediately went for Cipher. Her body underwent horrible mutations while it was engulfed by the powerful energies. A pair of short horns appeared from Cipher's forehead, tearing her skin in the process. A pair of gigantic bat wings tore her shirt and waved high above her head. A tail with a pointed end burst from her ass and whipped in the air. Even Cipher's teeth and nails became sharper than before, now capable of tearing apart flesh and bones and the former hacker was now surrounded by an unholy aura which showed her newfound power. There was a small chain with a blue, luminescent crystal dangling around her neck which emanated raw power.
The sight was so astounding that everyone stared wide-open at her and even Dom forgot about his grief for a moment. Even though Cipher still looked relatively human and was even attractive despite her strange changes, it was clear that her new form was anything but human. She was now a demon with godlike powers, hellbent on conquering the world.
Cipher wasn't disturbed even slightly by her new appearance. She was cackling like mad, admiring her new wings and her nails and reveling in her newfound power. She was now wearing a necklace with a glimmering, blue crystal on it, but she paid no attention to it.
"I like it! Now I can punish anyone who has ever wronged me! Starting with your family. You can say goodbye to them, Dom!" Cipher raised her hand and all of Dom's friends were engulfed in green flamed which turned them into piles of ashes in a matter of milliseconds. They didn't even get the chance to scream in pain.
"No!" Dom screamed, his mind battered beyond belief. This day he had lost his closest friends and he knew he would also lose his son, but there was nothing he could do about it. Cipher had won and now all of New York and the rest of the world would suffer as a result.
"Now, where were we? Ah, yes, the destruction of New York, how could I forget?" Cipher said mockingly before turning her attention yet again to Dom who was lying on the floor, barely able to comprehend what had happened. "You come with me!" Cipher said, grabbing Dom roughly by the shoulder. Even if he wanted to, Dom didn't have the strength to resist.
"From now on, you will be my eternal slave, Dom, and I plan to discipline you until you know your place! Do you understand?" Cipher heated up her pawn, causing it to be engulfed in red light and then firmly pressed it against Dom's shoulder. Dom screamed in agony and tried to escape, but Cipher's grip was too strong. He had never experienced such intense agony in his entire life. There was smoke coming from his shoulder which smelled like roasted flesh.
Then, suddenly, Cipher let him gold and withdrew her hand. "Did you understand?"
"Yes." Dom firmly answered. There was no reason to provoke her anger.
"Good." Cipher said and his burnt flesh was immediately mended. "I like your body when it's pretty." Cipher explained. "Let's go now! We have work to do!"
Cipher grabbed him from under the shoulders and the two of them disappeared in a flash of light.
…
The two of them teleported on a high hill neighboring a forest at one side. It was also overlooking a gigantic megapolis the other side with millions of people and thousands of cars going about their everyday lives.
Dom rubbed his eyes to clear his vision from the tears. His head was hurting from the whole being teleported through space and time, but he was slowly starting to adjust himself.
"Well, Dom! Do you recognize this place?" Cipher asked mockingly, turning her full attention to him.
Dom's eyes widened in horror when he finally recognized the city. He looked at Cipher again who was still smiling. No, it could not be! This woman was a monster, both figuratively and literally after her demonic transformation. It was New York, the city in which his little boy currently resided!
"No, you can't do this! I am begging you!" Dom begged almost tearing up again in the process.
"I said it Dom! Your choices have consequences." Cipher said completely unmoved by his pleas. "You chose to oppose me and now I will have to kill your son and destroy the entire city in which he lives to make examples of them. The blood of the millions of people who will die in a few moments is on your hands Dom, not on mine! You knew what could happen and now all those innocent people will die because of you."
Cipher's words were like a dagger which was turned in his heart and caused him to slump to the ground. Of course, he knew that she just wanted to break his spirit, to turn him into her obedient, little slave and cause as much emotional pain as possible, but he still felt guilty about all those innocent people who were about to die. If he hadn't failed to stop this monster, this devil in a female body, none of this would have happened. Why did he have to involve his family into this? They deserved better than that. He was a horrible father, a horrible love partner and a horrible friend and everyone else was paying for his mistakes.
"Plus, the destruction of one of the largest cities in the world and the eradication of millions of lives at once will surely draw the attention of the entire world." Cipher continued with her monologue, musing over her upcoming victory.
"You will not get away with this, Cipher!" Dom managed to get back some of his former confidence. "Even if you destroy New York, even if you murder my whole family, the world will not bow to your wishes. Humanity is stronger than you give it credit for and eventually they will find a way to defeat you. And when that happens, you will wish will had never been born!" Dom stated coldly, piercing her with his eyes. He knew he couldn't do anything to her right now, but he had to retain his beliefs somehow.
Cipher just grimaced, but then smiled happily. She slapped him hard on one cheek which left several bloody marks and almost caused Dom to vomit due to the impact of the hit.
"I see you haven't lost your spirit, yet. Good! It would e more fun to break you if you are resilient." Cipher bared her pointed teeth at him, still wearing her creepy smile. "And I assure you, we have plenty of time ahead of us for you to break. Years? Decades? Centuries? Maybe even millennia? Who knows, but eventually you will break, Dom, I have no doubt about that."
"Now, where were we? Ah, yes, I was about to destroy New York! You can say goodbye to your son!" Cipher raised her clawed hand and pointed at the direction of the city.
Suddenly, three helicopters appeared on the sky. They fired missiles at them which Cipher easily neutralized by erecting a plasma shield which stopped them and caused them to explode upon impact. Dom was disappointed because he was prepared to die as long as it meant stopping this monster from hurting anyone else.
"What the hell! Where did they come from?" Cipher shouted while preparing her magic for a fight.
"Looks like a present from Mr. Nobody!" Dom noted.
"That won't be enough to stop me." Cipher remarked while blasting one of the helicopters with a canon of pure, blue magic and Dom knew she was right, unfortunately.
Suddenly, he saw the crystal, which was attached to the chain, dangling around Cipher's neck. The light emanated from it became brighter each time Cipher used her powers while fighting the helicopters. He remembered that it wasn't on her neck before her transformation.
A bold idea crossed his mind. An idea which would probably end in failure and with Cipher punishing him for daring to defy her will yet again, but he had no other choice but to try it out. It's not like he had a lot of options.
He approached Cipher while she was not looking, grabbed the small chain with his bare hands, tearing it apart and then crushed the crystal with all his might. Cipher screamed in horror upon realizing what he had done. She slumped to the ground, trying desperately to reassemble the shards of the broken crystal, but in vain.
"No, no, no! You imbecile! Do you realize what you have done?" Cipher screamed in rage and desperation.
"Judging by your tone, probably not something good for you which is fine by me!" Dom stated coldly.
Cipher screamed in rage and grabbed him by the arm. Dom tried to get out of her grip, but she was too strong. Suddenly, they were both teleported back in the chamber inside the Egyptian pyramid.
Dom looked around himself and he saw all the members of his family revived right next to him, including Letty.
"Uh, how did this happen?" she asked rubbing her forehead. Dom went straight to her and hugged her tightly. She reciprocated after a short confusion.
"I am glad that everyone is alright" Dom couldn't find the right words to express his joy at his friends being alive. "All of you."
"Guys, could I get a little help here?" They all heard Cipher's voice which now sounded unnaturally muffled and scared for some reason.
They all turned in the direction of the mirror and what they saw was extremely satisfying. Cipher was now in her human form with no demonic horns or tail or wings. However, her entire body was trapped inside the mirror itself in an extremely uncomfortable position for the hacker. In fact, her entire body was literally stuck between the glass and the rear part of the mirror.
Her left cheek was pressed so hard that it was touching the glass. She couldn't move her head backward because the rear part of the mirror was pressed hard against the back of her head. Her nose was flattened, and her neck was twisted uncomfortably and painfully. Cipher had a strong neckache. She was trying to move her head to fix the problem, but she could only wiggle it slightly. This only increased the pain in her neck.
Her right hand was trapped between her ass and the rear part of the mirror. Her left hand was trapped between her torso and the glass. It was pressed so hard against her belly, that it inflicted even more pain on the hacker. Cipher tried to move her arms, but all her efforts were in vain as she couldn't free them.
Her entire torso was literally compressed between the glass and the rear part which visibly caused excruciating pain to Cipher much to the satisfaction of Dom and his friends. Both her legs were touching each other at the knees in a way that was very uncomfortable. The tips of her shoes were pointing downwards but couldn't touch the ground because of the very tight space Cipher's body was stuck in. Cipher was also trying to move her legs and to force them apart, but she only managed to wiggle them slightly.
In short, Cipher had apparently lost all her demonic powers, leaving her an ordinary human, and somehow got herself trapped inside the magical mirror and couldn't walk away or even move her head, neck, torso, hands or legs no matter how hard she tried and was completely helpless much to her horror. And much to everyone else's satisfaction.
Dom rubber his chin knowingly.
"I don't know, Cipher. Your new accommodation looks so comfy. We wouldn't want to ruin your pleasure." Everyone laughed at that joke except for Cipher of course. She just grimaced, but couldn't express her anger in any other meaningful way due to her body being squished.
"If you don't help me, I am going to remain in this state for the rest of eternity." Cipher begged with a scared tone. "By breaking that crystal around my neck, Dom, you condemned me to a fate worse than death. I would never be able to move or do anything else and I would remain alive and trapped in this mirror forever.
"Well, serves you right." Dom said with no pity in his voice. "You brought this fate upon yourself. Come, guys, let's go home!"
Everyone turned around and headed for the exit, glad that Cipher has finally been neutralized as a threat.
"No, come back here! Don't leave me trapped here!" Cipher screamed after them, but Dom's family didn't even look around and Cipher knew she was in no position to make them free her. The thought of being trapped in a narrow space for the rest of eternity horrified her, but she couldn't free herself in any way.
"No! No!" She continued to scream while Dom and his friends exited the hall.
