Welcome to a new story, technically an old one being rewritten, this story was written by me ages ago on DeviantArt, but now that I have grown as a writer, I'm rewriting it with better grammar, better writing and better ideas, so I hope you guys enjoy.

Episode 1: The Arrival of Rangers
Deep within a dark jungle, where sunlight seemed non-existant, laid a giant temple, the temple was old and surrounding the temple was large statues of various insects, outside the temple was an exploration group, the leader of the group, being a Mobian Meerkat, was talking to his group.
"We have done it ladies and gentlemen, we have found a legendary treasure, possibly an ancient tribes temple of sorts" he said as the group went to investigate.
Each of the group's members started to investigate, with trucks following them filled with various pieces of technology, the Meerkat went to the temple directly and saw the door to the temple, which had inscriptions and symbols of various insects with a large one showing a large skull with insect pincers on each side.
"Interesting" he said as he placed his hand on the skull logo, but as he did, the skull picture glowed with black and green energy before the whole area started to shake.
"Earthquake!" one of the explorers said before the doors o the temple slowly opened, the Meerkat tried to look inside, only for suddenly to be attacked by a giant swarm of locusts, he fell down the steps of the temple as many of the explorers tried to flee, however the group was stopped as green energy waves crashed in their path, they looked to where they came from and saw something they couldn't believe.
It was another Mobian, a Mobian Black Panther, however he was anything but normal, he had cybernetic parts and limbs, his left arm was entirely robot and he had robotic legs, his right eye was a red optic and his right ear was robotic too, looking somewhat like a miniature satellite dish, his normal eye however was green and in his normal hand, which had a grey glove, was a cybernetic sword with a green glowing blade.
"Your not going anywhere fools" he said with a growl as he slowly walked over to the temple, the explorers cowering in fear as the Meerkat tried to get up after falling, the cyber panther grabbed him and picked him up.
"P-Please! Don't hurt me!" he yelled in fear.
"I should be thanking you, foolish mobian, for you have just made things much easier for me, now my master shall return with full power!" the panther said as he threw the meerkat to the other mobians as they helped him up.
Then walking out of the temple was something no one had ever seen before, it was a large insect, it almost looked mobian and yet not at the same time, its exoskeleton was black and wore orange and blue armor on its legs and arms with a cybernetic chest piece, showing a red energy core on the left of the chest, the head of the creature almost matched the symbol on the temple doors, only more insect than skull, having red eyes and black carapace on its head and 2 orange pincers for its mouth, it also had 2 large transparent wings, one of them however looked damaged with burnt holes in it and a large red stinger on its thorax.
"Master Thornax, I had awaited your return" the Panther said as he bowed.
The creature, now amed Thornax, took in a deep breathe before looking around, his wings folded into a cape before looking to the panther, "Paylor, my most loyal servant, It is delightful to see you still live after all these years" Thornax said.
"Thank you master" Paylor said as he turned to the explorers, "These trespassers had unwillingly set you free master, what shall I do with them?" Paylor asked.
"I believe we shall use them to send a message, one that the world shall never forget" Thornax said as he walked down the steps, making the mobians extremely nervous before Thornax fired a green beam from his clawed hands at the technology in the trucks, the gadgets and tools floating to him.
"Listen well you foolish creatures, I, Thornax! Ruler of the Insectors! Have returned to claim my birthright, Mobius shall bow to me!" Thornax yelled before laughing evilly.
Months later, Xernia City.
Xernia City, known as one of the most historic cities on Mobius due to the many ancient historical finds in the city, in the Xernia City Museum, there was a school trip going on as some students from the cities own High School, were there doing some research on Dinosaur Fossils for some history papers
"And over here is the biggest Spinosaurus fossil ever found near Xernia City" said the teacher of the class, his class weren't exactly paying attention, except for three students, two of them were brothers, what was weird was that they weren't the same species.
The older brother was a red two tailed fox, he was wearing a blue and black shirt with a fireball symbol on his shirt and he was wearing brown trousers, he was also wearing red and white shoes that had fire patterns on them, this red fox is known as Xander Luke Flame, often just known as XL for short.
The younger brother is a dark blue hedgehog with yellow lighting shaped stripes on his quills, he is wearing a black shirt with a lightning bolt on it, grey trousers and black combat boots, this hedgehog was known as Kix Lightning.
The third student with the brothers was a female snow Leopard and Eagle hybrid, she is wearing a red shirt with a orange skirt as she was wearing purple stockings and is wearing black boots, had red hair, she also had purple eyes, this Leopard Eagle hybrid is known as Amelia Hart
"Do you think Dinosaurs would stand a chance in a time like this?" Amelia asked XL.
"Well maybe, anything is possible, like you and me being together" XL said as Amelia blushed.
XL and Amelia were boyfriend and girlfriend and would often comment each other at any random time.
"Hey love birds, might wanna get a move on" Kix said as the two noticed they were lagging behind the class, quickly they rejoined the goup as they continued on their trip.
After some time, their trip had finished and they were finishing their school day.
"Now remember everyone, these papers must be finished by the end of the week, no excuses" said the teacher as the students started to leave to go home, XL, Kix and Ameli walked together as they were about to leave the museum.
"So you boys coming to my place to work on the papers?" Amelia asked.
"Heck yeah" XL said as they were leaving, however, XL notices something from the corner of his eyes, a shimmering light, he turned to see what it was and saw it was coming from a dark area of the Museum.
"What on Mobius?" XL said as he walked to the area, which was noticed by Kix and Amelia.
"Bro?" Kix asked as they followed him into the dark area of the Museum, when they got their they found XL looking at a black table, the table showed 3 glowing gemstones, red, white and blue.
"What are these things?" Asked Kix, "I Don't know, but, do you guys feel, strange around them?" XL asked as he was looking at the gems in awe
"Now that you mention it XL, yeah, I can feel something" said Amelia as she looked at the white gem.
"Yeah, I can feel something, powerful" said Kix as he looked at the blue gem, then Kix picked up the blue one as then a flow of blue energy flowed through Kix as he then felt powerful
"Woah" said Kix as he was shocked about what happened. "Are you ok bro?" Asked XL as he wondered if he picked one up, he saw Amelia pick up the White one as white energy flowed through her, XL gulped as he then reached for the red gem as then red energy flowed through him when he touched it.
"So, should we keep them?" Asked Kix as he held the blue gem.
"I'm not sure, this seems freaky" Amelia said, however they soon hear an explosions coming from the entrace of the museum, the three looked to the entrance and wondered what happened.
Walking through the destroyed entrance was Paylor and a bunch of insectoid creatures, they looked to almost mobian like and looked almost like a common fly, their bodies grey and blue with green eyes.
"Search the Museum, the master wants those crystals found!" Paylor said to the creatures as they split up in the Museum.
"Ok, this is more freaky" Amelia said as the three tried to sneak away, out of the insect creatures sights.
"We should head back to our house, we should be safe there" XL whispered as they snuck by, however Paylor managed to see them, as Amelia's tail was poking out from one of the hiding spots.
"No witnesses!" Paylor said as he swung his blade, sending an energy slash at the hiding spot, blowing the three away.
They crashed to the ground as Paylor laughed evilly.
"Gah!" XL yelled as he tried to get up.
"Pathetic Mobian, such weak fools" Paylor said as he was about to swing his blade again, however, XL's body glowed red before the energy went to his hand, he threw his hand out towards Paylor and fired a fire blast that was shaped like a T-Rex and Fox head together, it attacked Paylor and sent him flying.
"GRAH!" Paylor yelled as he crashed into a pillar
"W-Whoa, what the heck just happened?" XL asked as he stood up.
Paylor got back up and growled as he sees XL holding the red gem, "The Red Dino Crystal! That doesn't belong to you child!" Paylor said as he charged at XL, the red two tailed fox however ducked to avoid getting slashed before rolling away and then locking his legs around Paylors, then making the cyborg fall to the ground.
Amelia and Kix managed to get up to see XL putting up a fight against Paylor before seeing the insect monsters come back, which they see the two and try to attack, Amelia used her wings to fly away from an incoming attack before she did a mid air kick to another, knocking it away, just as 3 of them creatures tried to flank her however, her wings got covered in white energy before flashing a bright white light at them, blinding the insects before Amelia did a spin kick on them.
Kix kept dodging attacks from the insects as his quills started to glow in blue and yellow light, just as the insects surrounded him, his quills shot off blue lightning at them, zapping them till they fell.
XL quickly grabbed Paylors tail and swung him into a pillar again as the Cyborg tried to recover.
"Ugh! No use, they've already bonded to the crystals, Master Thornax will not like this" Paylor said before pressing a button on his robot arm, he then teleported away in a green light, the remaining insect monsters also teleported away.
The three teens look at each other before holding out the gems they touched.
"What the heck are these things?" Amelia asked.
"I don't know…but I think I may know who does" XL said as the three of them ran out of the Museum.
At the Flame Residence, the three teens had made it to the giant house, XL had locked the doors before the two tailed red fox led Kix and Amelia to a door leading to the basement of the house.
"In here" XL said as he opened the door as they went down the stairs into the basement, now in a giant lab with metal walls everywhere as there were loads of computer screens showing different kinds of research, they began investigating until XL found something on a computer.
"Hey guys, I found something" said XL as he began his search as they found lots of information about the gems. "No way" said a Shocked XL of what he found
"What is it?" Asked Amelia. "I think I found something you guys aren't gonna believe" said XL as he shows them the screen, on said screen showed the gems they found with research data on them, then the screen changes to show lots of information about giant robots, weapons, even about the insect creatures they had fought earlier.
"What the heck? Doesn't this kinda look like Power Rangers stuff? Like the ones down in Knothole and Metropolis?" Asked Kix as he then heard footsteps coming from the stairs, the three looked to see a rather short mobian fox woman, her fur is red with long blue hair, blue eyes and was currently wearing a white lab coat with a black sweater and blue pants along with black shoes.
"Mom?!" XL said as he tried to cover the screen, "H-Hey Mom, sorry we barged in here, it was for a-a a school project! Y-yeah" XL said nervously, Kix and Amelia nod in agreement before XL's mother, Kelvanna, walked down the stairs.
"I know you found the Dino Crystals" said Kelvanna as she came down the stairs.
"Dino Crystals?" Amelia asked as she, XL and Kix pulled out the gems they found.
"You mean these gems?" Asked Kix as he held out his gem
"Yes, me and my expedition group years ago found them while exploring, we did research on them and found out they hold the power of the dinosaurs, I have been trying to protect them for some time after an incident years ago, I put them in the museum as a precaution, until not to long ago, Thornax broke free from his prison in his own temple" said Kelvanna as she pressed a button and a wall moved and configured away, revealing something behind it.
"Thornax?" Asked Kix, XL and Amelia as then the wall revealed many costumes, 3 of them were in spotlights and had weapons and gear on them, the 3 of them had similar designs but each had a different primary colour, Red, Blue and White, a symbol was on the torso as it was in a shape of a lightning bolt with a Dino footprint and metal ring around it, the helmets for each suit looked like a mix of two animals, the red had a mix of Fox and Tyrannosaurus Rex, blue a mix of Hedgehog and Ankylosaurus and white a mix of White Panther and Pterodactyl.
"Mom, what is this?" Asked XL with confusion.
"These are your new costumes, with the Dino Crystals, you each have the powers of your animal DNA and the Dinosaurs connected to those crystals, you three, are now Power Rangers" said Kelvanna as the three teens were shocked of what they just heard.
"P-Power Rangers, Mom are you serious?" Kix asked.
"Indeed I am" Kelvanna said with a smile.
"Like the ones at Knothole and Metropolis!?" Asked XL. "Yes, however, your zords, weapons and team are very different from them" Kelvanna said as she went to a case on a nearby table before opening said case.
Inside the case was 3 wrist devices, each one was shaped differently, one was red and shaped as a T-rex mixed with a Fox, another was Blue and shaped like a Ankylosaurus mixed with a hedgehog, the last one was white and shaped like a Pterodactyl mixed with a panther, they all had a wheel in the middle of them, each wheel had the same colour as the devices, the three teens looked to eachother before carefully grabbing the devices out of the case.
"What are these Mom?" Asked XL in confusion. "They are your Dino Drive morphers, they make you go into ranger form, combine the Dino Crystals with your morphers and then they will be powered up, to go into the ranger form, open the mouths of the morphers with the switch, then just say the activation code words "Dino Drive, accelerate", then spin the wheel on them and then you will be in ranger form" Kelvanna said.
The three teens then pulled out the crystals and then the three gems got absorbed into the morphers, the morphers were now powered up, they were excited about the whole thing until an alarm went off.
"Sounds like you three have your first mission" said Kelvanna as she checked a giant monitor as it showed Paylor with the insect creatures in the city.
"What are they?" asked Amelia with confusion. "They're called Insectors, they belong to Thornax, and the Panther is Thornax's General, Paylor, they are bad news, are you ready for your first mission?" Asked Kelvanna as the three teens looked at each other until they all nodded.
"Yeah, we're ready" said XL as they then left the lab and to the scene of the attack.
Meanwhile at Xernia City Central Park.
Paylor and the Insectors were destroying nearly everything in the park as they hurt some people but they escaped, then XL, Kix and Amelia made it to the scene as they had there morphers on their left wrists.
"You guys ready?" Asked XL with a grin.
"Oh yeah" said Amelia.
"Lets show these creeps not to mess with our city!" Kix said as they opened the mouths of the morphers and the eyes on the morphers glowed as they then began to morph.
"Dino Drive! Accelerate!" Said all three of them as they spun the wheel on there morphers as they began to morph.
The scenery changed to a high tech tunnel with a volcanic rocky floor as their bodies got covered in energy of their respective colours, they then lept up with flames, electricity and light energy spiralling around them each before landing on a platform, the ranger suits then materialised from their elemental energies combining to their bodies, then spiritual images of their animals appeared behind them, a Fox and T-Rex for XL, a Hedgehog and Ankylosaurus for Kix and a Panther and Pterodactyl for Amelia before their animals and dinosaurs combined, forming their helmets.
"Red Fox and Tyranno! Dino Drive Ranger, Red!" XL announced and posed.
"Blue Hedgehog and Ankylo! Dino Drive Ranger, Blue!" Kix announced and posed like his brother.
"White Panther and Pterodactyl! Dino Drive Ranger, White!" Amelia announced and posed.
"Power Rangers, Operation DinoDrive!" The three exclaimed.
"Woah! awesome!" Said Kix with excitement. "I love this suit, is this spandex?" Asked Amelia admiring her new suit.
"Guys, focus, let's take these guys down" said XL as they went into a battle stance.
"So, those children from before have become Power Ranger, pathetic! Inspectors! Destroy them!" Paylor commanded as the Insectors saw the rangers and went to attack them.
The rangers began their first fight as they took some down with a couple of punches and kicks and acrobatic moves.
"These things are way easier to fight now!" Kix said as he tripped an inspector before kiking it away.
"Your right, I feel so much more powerful!" Amelia said as she double punched two Insectors at once, sending them into many more, making them fall to the ground.
"Hey guys, let's try our new weapons" said XL as the other two rangers agreed as they pulled out special weapons, Kix pulled out a blue shield with silver spikes on them, XL pulled out two gauntlets that were shaped like giant fox claws as they were painted red and gold with the claws painted silver, then Amelia pulled out a blaster in the shape of a white panthers head along with a whip that looked like a white Panther tail.
"Hedgehog shield!" Exclaimed Kix as he then blocked an Attack from some Insectors attacks as he shot the spikes from his shield at some Insectors.
"Fox gauntlets!" Exclaimed XL as he starts punching some Insectors as they got defeated easily with the gauntlets he was wearing, he then made slashing movements, producing fiery slash attacks on incoming Insectors, burning them away.
"Panther Blaster" exclaimed Amelia as she started shooting beams of light at the Insectors with the Panther head and used to Panther tail to whip any other Insectors.
They managed to defeat the Insectors as there was only Paylor left
"So your Power Rangers now, that won't stop me or my master!" Paylor said.
"That's right, we are the Dino Drive Rangers, and we are gonna take you down!" Said XL as he and the other rangers got into a battle stance ready to fight.
"Oh really? Well too bad you can't defeat this!" Said Paylor as he then disappeared, just then a loud rumble and tremors are felt as then, from a giant green light, a giant dark green robot with claws appeared and looked a bit like Paylor
"What the!? How do we defeat him now!?" Asked Amelia but then the rangers morphers started beeping and Kelvanna was speaking from them.
"Rangers, time to call your zords, it's the only way to defeat Paylors giant mech" she said.
"Alright guys, you ready?" Asked XL as both of them nodded and XL pushes a button on his morpher. "It's Zord time!" Said XL as the they heard something coming fast.
Paylor was in his mech about to destroy a building until he was attacked by a giant robotic fox with giant claws, Paylor was about to attack the Red Fox Zord until his mechs arm got blasted by a White Panther Zord, making him miss his target, Paylor then tried to attack the White Panther Zord, only to be shot at by multiple spikes from a Blue Hedgehog Zord.
"Awesome!" Said Kix as he then jumped up and entered his Hedgehog Zord. "Let's ride!" Shouted Amelia as she then entered her Panther Zord. "Time to take out the trash" said XL as he then entered his Fox Zord.
"Bring it on Rangers!" Shouted Paylor as he then charged towards the three Dino fury Zords, luckily they avoided his attack as they went on the offensive, the Red Fox Zord lept up and attacked using its claws, Paylors Mech however blocked the attack with its own claws as it pushed the Fox Zord away, the Panther Zord tried to attack again as it pounced at the mech, the Hedgehog Zord also tried to attack by rolling into a ball and rolling towards the mech, however Paylor was ready this time as he used one claw to grab the panther zord and use it as a shield against the hedgehog zord.
"Hey not cool!" Amelia said.
"Sorry" Kix said as the Panther Zord was thrown away.
"We can't beat him like this, he would take us out one by one" said XL as then he saw something on his console. "Hey guys, I found a transformation switch"
"Really? Hey, I see it as well" said Kix.
"How about we combine to show this guy who's boss" said Amelia as their zord's grouped up.
"Alright, let's do it" said XL as then all three of them pulled the transformation switch as they then began to combine their zords, the Fox Zord let out a roar as it lept into the air, the Panther Zord and Hedgehog Zord also let out roars as they lept up too.
The Fox Zords tail detached as its back legs folded into its thighs as the front legs straightened out, now as arms, the shoulder pads of the arms showed an emblem of a dinosaur head, the Panther Zord and Hedgehog Zord folded their legs into their sides and their heads upwards, becoming legs as they attached to the thighs of the Fox Zord, the Fox zords head roared before the mouth opened wide, revealing a face as the Fox Zords tail came back, now becoming a sword as the newly formed Megazord grabbed the sword.
"Dino Fury Megazord! Online!" Said the three as they are now piloting their new megazord
"You think that will stop me!? Pathetic" said Paylor as he then attacked the Megazord, the Megazord however bloicked the attack with its sword and slashed the claws of the mech away, leaving the mech with no weapons.
The Megazord then grabbed Paylors mech and thrown it in a clearing, the megazord then grabbed the mechs arms and ripped them off, then the megazord punches the mecha faceplate, breaking it.
"No! Impossible!" Paylor shouted in fury.
"You havent seen anything yet robo cat!" XL said as the rangers pulled a lever in their cockpits.
"Fox Tail Blade! Final strike!" the three rangers announced as the Megazord held the tail blade up, the weapon soon became surrounded in fire, electricity and light energy before the Megazord made a downard slash onto the mech, severely damaging it.
"No! This isn't the end rangers! I will have my revenge and master Thornax will rule all of Mobius!" Shouted Paylor as then the mech exploded as Paylor teleported away.
"DinoDrive Rangers, we are victorious!" XL cheered as the Megazord posed infront of the explosion.
Back at the Flame Residence.
"Excellent job you 3, you managed to defeat your first enemy, great work" Kelvanna said.
"Thanks Mom" said XL as the three were ready for anything. "I can't wait for the next fight and what's the come" said XL.
"You bet dude" said Kix as then the three then showed off their morphers
"Power Rangers! Operation DinoDrive!" Said all 3 of them as they fist pumped the hands showing their morphers.
Meanwhile back at the Insector Temple, Paylor was bowing to Thornax who was resting on a large stone throne in a throne room, now being outfitted with plenty of technology stolen from the exploration group.
"I am sorry master, those Power Rangers had me outmatched, but I won't fail next time!" Paylor said.
"I know you won't Paylor, but with this new threat to my rule, we will need more than just your skills and mechs alone" Paylor said as he watched his Insectors build a large machine with a pod in the middle, "We will need some monstrous allies" he said as he laughed maniacally.
How was that guys? I know what your thinking, "you can't use DinoFury for your megazord since its already an official name" technically I can, I came up with Dino Fury first back on DA, plus I am classifying normal animal zords as Fury Zords, as a reference to Jungle Fury, proof is there with the date it was written, anyways, hope you guys enjoyed my rewrite of my own series.
I am also gonna be continuing the other stories of mine since I know you guys keep asking for updates, my focus just keeps shifting to another fandom in a matter of a day, I am writing each story at a time when I'm in the mood so I try to keep up when my mind has ideas, so please be patient with me.
