It was a rainy day, it was wet. Seth was walking about outside for some unknown reason. He couldn't control himself, it's as if something was controlling him. It felt as if someone was watching him, but he could only continue forward without looking back. His feet took him to some old shack that was run down. It looked as if it's been abandoned for decades. His heart was thumping loud in his chest, he sensed something ominous within those walls. He desperately tried gaining control of his feet, but to no avail. His body was failing him and all he could do was watch as he opened the wooden door and stepped inside to the dark and cold shack. It looked as if it was gonna break with every step he made. Once he made it to the middle of the room he heard the door slam shut. He jumped inside when he felt the backs of his arms getting grabbed once again like in the conjuring. It started off like normal, but then it started getting tighter and seemed to enclose more around him. He couldn't breathe and eventually his vision started to blacken. He tried so desperately to scream and thrash, but all he could do was stand there as something was slowly taking the life away from him.
Seth awoke with a scream. He was breathing heavily while clutching his chest. A few coughs escaped his lips as he now treasured his air.
"What the heck is wrong with me," he asked himself once he could catch his breath. "What was that?"
A million questions popped into his mind, but all were stopped by his alarm going off. It was still dark outside, but he had to get up early before the sunrise to meet with Sam and Colby. They were coming in today at the airport and Seth had to pick them up. He didn't mind, those guys were absolutely awesome. It was fun making videos with them. Sam was very smart and knew his research real well. He was also very weird and funny, his humor always made Seth chuckle. His feelings towards Colby were a bit different though. He couldn't entirely understand it. All he knows is that being around Colby always makes him have a weird feeling in his stomach. It wasn't a horrible feeling, but it was just weird. Seth loved it when he was close to Colby, seeing him when he laughs, and just plain being in the same place as him put a grin on his face. He knows it's not a negative feeling.
He rushed to his feet and ran to get ready to go out to the airport. He left those thoughts in his head, shaking them off. It took him around half an hour to get ready. Once done, he locked the door and headed to his car. Driving to the airport with his music blasted distracted him from any of his thoughts about the nightmare and Colby.
He had been waiting for about an hour till he could see the blonde and brunette walking towards him with both of their luggages. His eyes locked with Colby, with redness painting his cheeks as he looked away.
"Heya Seth," called Sam when they made it in front of him. "How've you been buddy?"
"Doing pretty well," he lied. "How're you guys doing? Excited for this trip?"
"Yes and no. Scared but excited for the possible content," Colby replied.
They all laughed and agreed. As they were making their way to the car Seth felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked back and found Sam and Colby way too far away to even come close to touching him.
Colby noticed his nervous look and asked,"What's wrong?"
Seth looked at him and gave a fake smile and just said,"Just wondering about the smelly smell coming from back there. Turns out it's just you." Colby was standing right behind him, so he was the victim of Seth's distraction.
Colby gasped and said,"It's a good smell. It's definitely a good smell!"
Seth laughed and just replied with a simple, "Sure." He then turned back to focus on his walking skills, which weren't that great while looking backwards, and laughing at Colby's defensive talk. Colby set him at ease with his antics. He didn't think once about the nightmare or any of the other strange happenings at this moment. Now he was in bliss.
