Disclaimer: I do not own Twilight.

AN: Alright, this will be my first Twilight fiction. Now for starters, I will never write a Bella/Edward. EVER! Their relationship is CRINGE! In fact, I don't really like Edward's character, he has some redeeming qualities, but you don't see them until shortly before the Volturi come to Forks.

{Bella's POV}

It's funny. I had never thought about how I would die until I had found out about the Supernatural world. I was a klutzy person and would have suspected I'd have been done in by tripping over my own two feet going down concrete stairs. But when I met Edward Cullen and his family, I had never felt safer. Then there came James, the Nomad with Laurent and Victoria. That incident in the ballet studio in Phoenix had almost been the end of me. I understood where Edward was coming from by not allowing me to finish the change but now, he has abandoned me with Victoria after me. Only Victoria isn't the one that has me. I finally managed to find the meadow that Edward had brought me to. I had fell into the stone like arms of Laurent.

It was in the arms of my killer that I developed a new perspective of Edward. He was a manipulator. He was a coward and was controlling. He left me to be slaughtered like a lamb. I knew why Victoria wanted me dead. James, her mate, had been murdered by the Cullen's. She wanted revenge. But since they left me, the pathetic little pet, I was the easier target. Laurent was doing me a mercy. Victoria would see me tortured, making me pray and beg for death. He decided to make my death quick. I did not fight him. His deep red eyes held sympathy for me, and he had murmured about Edward having thralled me too much just before he sank his fangs deep into my neck. He held me delicately as he drained my life. I felt my life slipping away, almost gone, and my heart hardened. I should not have to die this way was all I could think.

From the tree line a loud snarl ripped the air. Laurent froze and held me like I was a cherished porcelain doll. I was not quite dead at this time, but it did not matter. The damage was done. There would not be a healing time for me to be human. He softly laid my body on the late winter turned grass then he ran. I barely registered a large shape above me when the burning began. I lost consciousness then. All was gone and quiet.

(Jasper)

A shriek left Alice's small mouth suddenly. She convulsed. It was a vision. A powerful one. She contorted and then was so still. An anguished cry came from her tiny form then. Venom was pooled in her golden eyes. Whatever she had seen was upsetting her so much.

"Alice?" Esme called as she moved to Alice.

Carlisle knelt beside her and held her hand. This was new. Never in all the decades Alice and I had been together had I ever seen a vision hurt her. Alice dry-sobbed then snapped her head up when Edward entered the room. She snarled at him. She was enraged.

"This is all your fault!" Alice yelled at him.

"Alice?" Edward asked clearly confused.

"She's dead! Bella is dead! You made us leave her!" Alice screamed, "Laurent killed her. He killed my best friend, my heart.!"

Alice collapsed under the weight of her distress. My chest hurt. That was strange. A vampire having chest pains but then again Bella was my very soul. I pushed the pain away and went to Alice.

"I am sorry, Jazz." Alice crumbled further into herself, "She never got to know."

"Ally, we're leaving." I told her and picked her up.

Jasper?" Esme said.

I had moved to the door with Alice cradled to me. Alice and I were lover's, but we were not complete. Bella was our missing link. The Cullen's never knew this, but they will soon enough. Alice had told me about Bella ever since we met. She had been my constant companion, helping me try to create balance between myself and The Major. My change into a vampire had made my split personality disorder a permanent part of me. Vampirism can heal but the Major was seen as me by the vampirism. The Major and I were one. The Major was the darker side of Jasper Whitlock. And in this moment the Major was addressing Esme.

"Esme, we are leaving." The Major said in a tone of authority.

"Jasper, you can't..." Edward started.

The Major turned to the room with Alice still in his arms. Gone were the honeyed eyes of Jasper and in the place were the scarlet eyes of The Major. The Major had no qualms of unleashing all of their power onto Edward. The sudden onslaught of every person that had lost their lives to their hands careened into the mind reader's brain. Edward went to his knees in agony. The 146 years of Jasper's vampire life fell on him. The wars and battles of both his human and vampire life fell on him. Every life came to him. Edward's gift let him hear their thoughts but not the feelings. Jasper got both. He could feel the very souls crying out, the thoughts and the feelings of it all.

"She was mine and Alice's." I snarled at Edward, the Major's and my voice sounding together, "My Isabella is dead."

{Bella POV}

This absolutely sucked. Laurent had been ripped apart and burned by the boys from the reservation. They were shapeshifters that turned into giant wolves. They had been too late to save me from turning into a vampire. But they took me to old hunting lodge on the Rez. Billy and Old Quill had devised a story to cover my passing. I wasn't safe to be around my father. And I agreed wholeheartedly. I did not want to harm my father or anyone else. These people were friends and family. After I had completed my transition Sam Uley had brought me three young deer. I felt sad that I had to take their lives. With regret I had drank them dry. Sam had been very compassionate towards me about it. I didn't want to harm anyone or anything. When they had asked me about being changed, I was angry. I was enraged at Edward Cullen. The other Cullen's had wanted me to finish the change, oh, but not Saint Edward. So, instead I was hunted by Victoria and left to fend for myself and eventually almost killed and changed by Laurent. I wanted to rip his head off with my teeth and use it as a football. Leah had cackled at that when she heard me.

I watched from afar with a couple of the Rez boys as my poor father broke down at my funeral. Renee was inconsolable and clung to my stepfather, Phil. All of my high school friends were crying. Jessica and Angela were a mess. The story was a simple accident. Since it rains a lot in Forks mudslides and rockslides happen. The story was I was going to the Rez to meet up with Leah and Emily. It was pouring and a rockslide happened, and my poor orange beast ended up crushed and down into the ocean. My father had search and rescue scour for me. My poor truck was recovered but I was not. My father was so hurt. I hurt for him. I left before anyone could see me at the funeral. Embry and Paul took me back to the hunting cabin.

It took over a year for my bloodlust to calm and I was safer to be around people. I stayed well fed on animals so that greatly helped. But now that I could be safe for society without killing everyone, I decided to leave for Volterra. I spoke with Sam, Billy, Harry, and Old Quill about it, we had met at Harry and Sue's home. They all agreed that it would probably be best for me to be with vampires. I was getting prepared to leave when I heard screaming in the distance. It was at Harry and Sue's. I ran there. I could smell her. Victoria was there. I could hear her voice before I arrived. She was demanding to know where I was. A loud yelp was heard. Leah's wolf form came flying out of the window. She had Victoria between her jaws. Victoria jabbed Leah in one of her eyes causing Leah to release her. I was on her before she could move.

Without thought I began to punch her in the face with everything I had. All of the rage I had built up inside was finally being released. Her face was cracked, and she was clawing at me to get away. I snapped her left hand off and snatched her by the hair and throat. Sam and the rest had arrived. Leah was human again and was wailing. She, Sue, and Seth were gathered around Harry's body. I became incensed. I drug Victoria over to Sam. I held her, keeping her from getting away, as Sam and the boys swarmed her. They destroyed her and then burn her. We all gathered around the Clearwater family. I sped into the house and returned with some clothes for Leah. She barely had them on before she collapsed into me. I held her as she screamed and cried. Harry was dead. Victoria had indirectly taken his life by sending him into a massive heart attack.

I had to hide before my father arrived. My father arrived and went for Sue. The paramedics informed him that Harry was dead when they arrived on the scene. Charlie held Sue as they both cried for Harry. Harry and Billy were Charlie's best friends. Practically brothers. He asked what had happened. Leah told him that she had gotten home late from work, and she walked into an active robbery. Her parents and brother did not even know that the man was in the house. The man attacked her, and she screamed. Harry had barreled down the stairs to check on her. He walked in on her being attacked and he attacked the man, sending him flying through the window which was how it was broken. The man ran when he realized he wasn't getting anything. It was not a complete lie at least.

Charlie helped get things settled with the Rez Police and stayed the next few nights with the Clearwater family to support Sue and fix the window. He and Billy helped Sue and the family get his funeral arranged. I stuck around to support Leah and Seth. When I got my tickets arranged for Italy, I ordered a second one. It was a month after Harry's funeral and the day before I was to leave when I approached Leah about coming with me. She was torn but both Sue and Seth encouraged her to go. Leah had always wanted to travel but when the whole wolf thing happened her dreams had died. But now I was offering to take her to Italy. After a few minutes of encouragement, she packed to go. Sue drove us to the Seattle airport early that morning. Leah and Sue had a tearful goodbye and after promises of postcards, pictures, and calls she let us go.

Leah and I talked the whole flight and when the pilots voice came over to let us know that we were getting ready to land at the Pisa International Airport we both crowded our small window to look out at the twilight setting of Tuscany.
