Prince Ogilvy Maurice 'Sonic' Hedgehog

Aliases: Blue Blur, Speed Freak, Fastest Thing Alive

Homeworld: Mobius

Species: Mobian Eurish Hedgehog (Erinaceus europaeus sapiens)

Date of Birth: 23rd Solung 3391 MA (Mobian Age)

Family:

Manic Hedgehog (brother)

Sonia Hedgehog (sister)

Miles 'Tails' Prower (foster brother)

Jules Hedgehog (father)

Bernadette Hedgehog (mother)

Aleena Hamachi (maternal aunt)

Charles Hedgehog (paternal uncle)

Longclaw (godmother)

Maurice Hedgehog (paternal grandfather)

Ogilvy Hamachi (maternal grandfather)

Function: Cavalier

"I have no master, except the wind that blows free!"

Prince, Freedom Fighter, Rebel, Jedi, saviour, the Blue Blur - Sonic is all of these, but above all, he is 'like the wind'. A free-spirited and adventurous speedster, Sonic believes in making the most of life - and that goes double for defending the freedom of others from the forces of evil. For the most part, Sonic is benevolent, loyal and easy-going, always able to find hope in a dire situation, and possessing a strong love for his friends, family and nature. However, he does have his limits, and he will come down hard on those who dare to do harm to anyone or anything he holds dear.

Abilities:

Despite his youth and lack of experience compared to his colleagues, Sonic is quite possibly one of the most powerful individuals in the known galaxy, having faced some of the greatest villains in galactic history, such as Doctor Robotnik, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Lord Brevon, Dark Oak, Metal Sonic, Doctor Nefarious and Lord Tirek.

Sonic's greatest gift is his Super Speed, often credited as the 'Fastest Thing Alive' (though he has found rivalry in individuals like Shadow, Sash Lilac, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie). Capable of breaking the sound barrier, with agility, precision and kineticism to match, he can scale walls and roofs, zip across water, dodge lasers, propel himself incredible distances when jumping, and even make the ground explode in his wake. He can even use his speed to increase his already considerable strength; though he's still not as strong as individuals like Knuckles, Mighty, Taurus, Applejack or Terrador, he can topple massive machines with a single kick and tear robots apart with his bare hands.

As a Hedgehog, Sonic's general mode of attack involves curling into a ball, which he calls his Spin Dash. With this, he can cut through almost any substance with enough force and even hone in enemies with a Homing Attack. Sonic is also an expert at unarmed combat, frequently using his legs in breakdance-inspired moves; wide-ranged kicks, split kicks and scissor kicks.

Sonic is able to generate electricity from his quills, often based on his emotional state, allowing him to shoot disabling blasts of lightning at enemies or focus it into a ball of energy that can punch through obstacles and cripple giant robots. He can unleash waves of lightning to disable robot enemies, and create a lightning shield around himself for a short time.

Sonic's possessed of a strong connection to the Chaos Force, which can increase his powers significantly, or even allow him to go Super. In this form, he can fly and is almost invincible. He can trigger Chaos Control, like Shadow, though he has quite a way to go before he has a full handle on it.

Sonic can withstand a remarkable amount of punishment, able to survive drops of extreme height, endure laser blasts and extreme heat/cold, blast through solid barriers with flinching, and tank punches from adversaries of equal or greater strength. He's even shrugged off broken bones! However, he does have his limits, and there will be a point where even Sonic won't be able to push himself even further.

Since he began his Jedi training, Sonic has proven himself a natural talent with the lightsaber, becoming particularly proficient in Form IV, and he has deftly incorporated such combat into his technique, capable of unleashing a flurry of strikes in the blink of an eye and turning his Spin Dash into a plasma buzzsaw. Sonic's Force-based abilities generally revolve around controlling the wind, swirling them off their feet and leaving them open to attack. In the realm of telepathy, he can form empathic bonds with other living beings, sentient and non-sentient alike; and he can link minds with his brother and sister to better co-ordinate their moves and channel each other's energy.

Sonic is a capable pilot, having handled the controls of an X-Wing fighter and Tails' various Tornado planes without significant difficulty; and manoeuvring expertly on skateboards and surfboards.

Equipment:

Sonic's trademark attire is his red-and-white sneakers. Sleek and aerodynamic, they were designed to withdraw the enormous friction that comes when Sonic runs at high speeds.

In battle, he generally wears a form-fitting blue suit with accompanying breastplate, pauldrons, gauntlets and greaves. Wings adorn the back which serve as a spoiler when Sonic runs. A fitted face covers most of Sonic's head, barring his eyes, muzzle and quills. The suit provides protection against environmental extremes, mild-to-moderate lightsaber strikes, and bullets and blaster bolts.

Sonic's main weapon is a single-blade lightsaber with a sleek mould. 25 centimetres long and 4 centimetres thick, the handgrip is styled like guitar strings. The weapon has a bevelled emitter shroud and a tapered pommel that curves slightly, resembling one of Sonic's quill bunches. It is powered by a single deep-blue crystal, and can house a Ring that empowers the blade.

Weaknesses:

Sonic has a rather irrational fear of water, specifically water that's too deep to stand in. He's never learned how to swim, and despite his light build, he sinks like a stone. While this doesn't stop him washing and bathing, it does impede his conduct when having to work near water. Even when wearing scuba gear, Sonic still feels uneasy.

Sonic is confident to the point of being outright arrogant, and he often underestimates his opponents. Additionally, his impulsive and intuitive nature means Sonic prefers to simply throw himself in action without planning ahead, and just making his plan as he goes. While this makes him very adaptable, he's gotten way over his head and landed himself in trouble several times.

Sonic often tends to blame himself when bad things happen to his friends and family, even if he wasn't present at the time, as he takes the well-being of his loved ones very seriously. He also refuses to kill living enemies, like Stormtroopers for example, due to his value for life, which has impeded his effectiveness on the battlefield, and put him in conflict with those more willing to strike enemies down.

Sash Lilac

Aliases: Sparkling Comet of Avalice

Homeworld: Avalice

Species: Half-Water Avalician Dragon hybrid (Draconem avalicensis aqua + unknown mammal)

Date of Birth: 16 years before meeting Sonic (precise date uncertain)

Family:

Dragon father

Mammal mother

Function: Warrior

"I don't care how dangerous it is! It's gonna take a lot more than robots and aliens to slow a Dragon down!"

Descended from the Dragons responsible for the founding of Avalice, Sash Lilac's exact origin remains a mystery even to her. What is known is that she was raised by the guild known as the Red Scarves, trained in the arts of physical combat and thievery, though she ultimately abandoned the group for a more moral-based lifestyle. She's often been described by her Leaguers as essentially Avalice's equivalent of Sonic, to the point where they've become surrogate siblings. Lilac is especially close to her fellow Dragons Spyro, Spike and Dulcy, and feels confident that there is a link between all of them.

Abilities:

Boosting a naturally athletic physique that is highly potent by Avalician standards thanks to her Dragon heritage, Lilac is one of the most powerful Avalicians known. Alongside her friends Carol Tea, Milla Bassett and Torque, she was responsible for saving Avalice from the invasion and conquest of warlord Arktivus Brevon.

She is primarily defined by her extraordinary speed, capable of matching Sonic's velocity and agility, and has even beaten him in a few sparring matches, much to his chagrin. Her signature move is her Dragon Boost, rolling into a ball, charging herself with energy and shooting at her enemies like a comet (hence her nickname), while also being briefly impervious to attack.

Lilac is highly durable, capable of withstanding physical punishment in a manner similar to Sonic. In her case, Lilac can withstand the immense pressure of deep submersion in water and survive being tortured by Lord Brevon for several days, though she did need extensive treatment when rescued.

Lilac has deadly in hand-to-hand combat, generally aimed at rapid-fire strikes and disabling limbs. Most notably, she can use her long Hair Tendrils to whip cut at enemies and obstacles, or even catch incoming strikes. Signature moves include her Dragon Cyclone, a spin attack where she whips her tendrils around; Rising Slash, where she and her tendrils deliver an upper cut; and Crouch Attack, using her tendrils and legs to throw enemies off their feet.

As a half-Water Dragon, Lilac takes to water like a fish, able to streak along like a torpedo and even, as mentioned above, dive to extreme depths. She can even manipulate water, creating all kinds of water constructs to incapacitate, drown or wash away her opponents. This has extended to being able to control plants, allowing her to use her own environment against the enemy. And she has become versed in dual saber combat, wielding paired lightsabers that can link together to form a saberstaff. With her blades, Lilac's moves become much more deadly, with Lilac sometimes becoming a whirlwind of plasma.

Equipment:

Lilac wears aerodynamic white armour across her upper body, consisting of gauntlets, a cuirass, pauldrons and faulds. Blue greaves adorn her legs, and a visor covers her eyes, used for scanning and transfer of data.

Lilac carries paired lightsabers. Their hilts are styled like Chun-nanese swords, with wrappings around the handgrips. The wide round guards have katakana written on them, one reading 'Sash' and the other 'Lilac'. These, and the bevelled emitter shrouds are finished in gold. The weapons house pink-violet crystals as their focusing lens. They can also be joined end-to-end to form a saberstaff, providing Lilac with an additional option for fighting.

Weaknesses:

Lilac suffers from a genetic defect that renders her fin-like ears practically useless, necessitating the use of hearing aids to allow proper communication with others. This defect is also the reason why, despite her heritage, Lilac is incapable of breathing underwater.

Lilac has a strong temper and has sometimes lost her cool when confronted by evil, especially when they hurt her friends, whereas Sonic usually has a better handle on himself, even when angry. Additionally, she takes things much more seriously, but sometimes, a bit too seriously; she often criticizes friends like Sonic, Pinkie Pie, Sly and Ratchet for making wisecracks and jokes during battle.

Lilac has wrestled with trust issues most of her life, due to her upbringing in the Red Scarves, which she ultimately abandoned. She can be a bit apprehensive when meeting people of unscrupulous origins, considered they might be trying to con her and her friends.

Princess Twilight Lavender Sparkle

Aliases: Masked Matterhorn, Element of Magic, Princess of Friendship

Homeworld: Equestria

Species: Alicorn (Equus ferus caballus cornaliserra), formerly Unicorn (Equus ferus caballuscornu)

Date of Birth: 981 CE (Celestial Era)

Family:

Shining Armour (brother)

Princess Mi Amore Cadenza/Cadence (sister-in-law)

Spike (foster brother/godson)

Nyx (daughter)

Night Light (father)

Twilight Velvet (mother)

Flurry Heart (paternal niece)

Function: Magic Scientist, Intelligence Operative

"Friendship isn't always easy, but it's definitely worth fighting for."

Possibly the most accomplished Unicorn in Equestria, Twilight Sparkle used to be an introverted bookworm more concerned with pleasing her mentor Princess Celestia, until she was reminded of the importance of making friends. Since then, Twilight has grown to become the newest Alicorn Princess in Equestria and one of its main protectors, alongside her six best friends. Gifted with a thirst for knowledge and strong love of books, Twilight often searches for new ways to combine Magic and technology and adapt both her allies and her people to different worlds.

Abilities:

Twilight Sparkle is remarkably intelligent. Her capacity for knowledge and research makes her the main brains of the Freedom Eight. While versed in various subjects, her specialties lie in magic, history, friendship and technology. She is remarkably organized, and is repeatedly proven her worth as a teacher and instructor in her specialised subjects; notably teaching non-Equestrians how to connect with their magic, even if they couldn't wield it the same way she and her friends could.

Twilight's raw talent with magic is rivalled by very few in Equestria, especially following her becoming an Alicorn. In addition to being extremely well-versed in telekinesis - a common ability for Unicorns - she can transform subjects from one species into another, teleport herself and others great distances (albeit with some strain), unleash concussive waves of energy, alter matter at the atomic level, create highly convincing illusions, travel through time, and more. As Masked Matterhorn, she has learned to focus her energy into powerful laser blasts that can punch through metal, and produce freezing beams of ice that stop enemies in their tracks and freeze large bodies of water.

As an Alicorn, Twilight is able to fly over great distances with her wings, though given she's not used to having wings, using them for too long can tire her out. She also has the strength of an Earth Pony, making her extremely durable to physical strain and injury; and Twilight is incredibly strong. However, she prefers to leave heavy lifting to Applejack and Fluttershy.

Equipment:

Twilight has upgraded the Masked Matterhorn suit into a powered exoskeleton that increases her physical abilities and allows her to operate in various environments, including the vacuum of space. It's outfitted with various weapons and gadgets, including repulsors, lasers, shields and energy blades. This allows Twilight to conserve her magic, reserving it for other uses.

Twilight's lightsaber bears a striking resemblance to that of An'ya Kuro, with an intricate filigree covering the hilt and a purple crystal as its focusing lens. The main difference is the brighter purple and hot pink stars decorating the hilt.

Weaknesses:

Twilight suffers from OCPD (obsessive-compulsive personality disorder); everything she does has to be perfect and go without a hitch. As such, when things don't go as she wants, she can quickly get distressed and lose her composure. She also struggles with confidence issues, and can feel overwhelmed by the weight of her responsibilities as a Princess, even with the support of her friends.

Twilight values life very much, and is strongly averse to killing, generally believing in second chances. Unfortunately, some enemies have exploited this compassion by pretending to see the error of their ways, only to stab Twilight in the back when she least expects it.

Spyro

Aliases: Purple Dragon

Homeworld: Avalar

Species: Avalarian Purple Dragon (Draconem avalarensis purpura)

Date of Birth: the 752nd Year of the Dragon

Family:

Ignitus (biological father)

Flash (foster father)

Cleem (foster father)

Sibylla (biological mother)

Nina (foster mother)

Shabae (foster mother)

Aithne (stepmother)

Flash (half-brother)

Sparx (foster brother)

Elora (foster sister)

Function: Ground and Air Assault

"I have to walk my own path, and do what I know is right."

The second rare Purple Dragon in existence, the first being the fallen hero Comet, Spyro was dragged into war rather forcibly after his foster parents were taken from him. Trained in the use of the various Dragon Elements, Spyro has been responsible for turning the tide of the war between the people of Avalar and the Dark Armies of Malefor, and can bring raw Elemental Fury down on evil-doers. He cares deeply about the safety and well-being of his friends and family, often throwing himself into danger to ensure this. In his free time, Spyro longs to play and have fun with his loved ones, and often prefers the company of his foster family to his fellow Dragons, except for his love-interest Cynder, his half-brother Flame, and his biological father Ignitus.

While he does not deny his achievements, Spyro often undersells his actions when talking about them to others. He also doesn't believe in destiny or predictions, believing one should make their own path in life. Ironically, he often allows his friends and loved ones make big decisions for him. Furthermore, he keeps looking back, wondering if his decision was sound. This is mainly because he doesn't want to make the same decision that his predecessor meant, who fell to his own darkness; something that greatly troubles Spyro.

Abilities:

As a rare Purple Dragon, Spyro is essentially all abilities and aspects of the Avalarian Dragons blended into one small vessel. Despite his youth and lack of experience, Spyro has managed to engage some of the Dark Army generals - Sirorrialth, Ripto and Deina - and was responsible for freeing Cynder from Malefor's control.

Spyro can wield all six traditional Dragons Elements - Fire, Water, Ice, Electricity, Earth and Wind - where most Dragons can only use one. This allows him to be incredibly variable in combat, switching Elements on a dime to confuse his enemies. One moment, he could be roasting you alive with bursts of flame; the next, he could wash you away with a stream of Water. He can even blend elements together (Elemental Synergy) to form incredible combinations (e.g. Fire and Electricity into Plasma, Water and Wind into Vortex), though these require more of his Mana.

Additionally, Spyro can naturally tap into abilities most Dragons cannot without years of training. He can manipulate Time itself, slowing it down or speeding it up to disorientate opponents. However, as Time is volatile, Spyro can only use this power sparingly and with the utmost care. Above all, Spyro is versed in the use of the signature breath of Purple Dragons, Aether, though he can only apply this when in a Fury Surge, which, like using Time, is very dangerous.

Spyro has Magic at his claw-tips as well, and is as much potency as the best of Magic Crafters and Unicorns. He can communicate with, and tame, beasts, like the Beast Makers, create magical artefacts and beautiful artwork, like the Magic Crafters and Artisans, respectively; and even hear and influence the dreams of others, like the Dream Weavers. Spyro is versed in the use of various melee weapons, e.g. swords, spears, lances, maces, axes and more

Having learned basic melee combat from his upbringing in the Swamp, Spyro, through professional training with the Guardians, has become a practised hand in Dragon Kata, which consists of using his horns, wings, claws and tail in mana-charged movements. He takes advantage of his short size to dodge around attacks from larger foes and striking at weak points in their defences. One of Spyro's favoured moves is to knock his enemies into the air and apply his wings to lay into them, frequently slamming them into the ground or into other enemies.

Initially, Spyro was a quadruped, but he has recently grown enough to be able to balance on his hind legs. This means he can switch between the two stances when needed. As a Dragon, Spyro can naturally fly, though he does occasionally require air currents to reach greater heights.

Gadgets:

Spyro wears a full set of body armour, consisting of a burgonet helmet, gorget, cuirass, pauldrons, bracers, partial cuisses atop brown pants, and plating on his tail.

Weaknesses:

Despite his immense power, like all Dragons, Spyro will become drained by energy through excessive use of his Elemental power, especially when he uses Elemental Furies.

His determination to avoid becoming like Malefor often affects his judgment and confidence in his own decisions, and he frequently lets others make decisions for him, which can compromise his effectiveness.

Spyro's ability to use the elements depends on his mana levels; the more he uses his powers, the more mana he drains. If he fails to recharge himself, he will drain himself of energy, especially if he goes into his Fury Surge, which has almost killed him a few times.

Ratchet

Aliases: Captain Ratchet, Space Rat, Butcher of Bogon, Dead Meat, Mustachio Furioso

Homeworld: Fastoon (grew up on Veldin)

Species: Lombax (Felis hyphantes diligens)

Date of Birth: 5337 (Solana standard year)

Family:

Kaden (father)

Unnamed mother

Clank (foster brother)

Function: Mechanical and Weapons Engineer

"Evil breaks it, we fix it!"

Ratchet is a rare sight, as the number of Lombaxes left in the entire universe can be counted with the fingers on one pentadactyl (five-digit) hand. Because of this, Ratchet often struggles with existentialism, and strives to find his place in the universe. He keeps this hidden under a charming, sassy and witty persona, and though he can be overconfident, his heart's always in the right place. He's certainly found a place in the universe, fighting evil alongside his best friend Clank, and his fellow Leaguers, serving as the League of Freedom's primary weapon and gadget expert, which puts his inherent Lombax skills to good use. He's also the leader of the Galactic Rangers in his home galaxy, though he sometimes finds the role a bit much, given the mantle was practically thrust onto him after his defeat of Chairman Drek and the demotion of Captain Qwark. Even before his joining the League, Ratchet, alongside Clank, has defeated numerous villains: Chairman Drek, Doctor Nefarious, Gleeman Vox, Thugs-4-Less, Courtney Gears and Emperor Percival Tachyon.

Abilities:

As a Lombax, Ratchet is one of the best mechanics in several galaxies, capable of cobbling together all kinds of powerful devices even with limited resources. He's built a working and surprisingly durable star ship with functional weapons, all from spare parts; and created an intergalactic warp drive from scrap metal. Other inventions include a nuclear-powered rocket sled, an anti-matter bathroom buddy and electro-shock underwear, or 'Stunderwear', as he called it. He is the Leaguer's first option to repair a damaged star ship engine, or replace a weapon's reflux coil.

Though he has never applied for a pilot's license (despite Clank's insistence that he does), Ratchet is a surprisingly skilled pilot, having survived and won several dogfights in space. Prior to his acquisition of his sentient ship Aphelion, he has flown his own hand-built Starhopper, the Star Explorer given by Megacorp and more. And Ratchet has been proficient all kinds of land-based vehicles, like hover boards and bikes (having won races on them), speeders, walking tanks and more.

Having undergone extensive training with both the Galactic Rangers and Megacorp, Ratchet has grown into an acrobatic and strong fighter, versed in martial arts, heavy weaponry, survival skills, stealth, macramé, ballroom dancing and origami. Despite his small stature compared to other species, Ratchet is strong enough to tussle with bigger and stronger beings. However, his primary mode of combat is his extensive arsenal of weapons and gadgets provided by Gadgetron, Megacorp, GrummelNet, his people and more; he can wield just about anything that can be handheld.

Gadgets:

Ratchet's signature weapon is his Omniwrench, useful both as a tool, used for repairs, picking up items and tightening bolts, and as a melee weapon, used to strike enemies at close quarters, smash open crates, and even be thrown like a boomerang in a Comet Strike. Though he has used a variety of model, Ratchet's current model is the Omniwrench 12, which has more functionality than previous mods. Approximately 45 centimetres long, the wrench is composed of ultra-light teratannium, with a hyper-grip handle. It is outfitted with an illegal kinetic tether, allowing the head of the wrench to be launched and attach to a chosen target, which Ratchet can then manipulate and pull remotely.

Regarding other weaponry, it would be better to say what Ratchet does not have at his disposal. His vast arsenal includes just about everything from blasters, rifles, grenade and missile launchers, and shot guns, to bladed weapons, whips, summoning devices and morphing rays, and more. His deadliest weapons by far are the RYNO weapons, which come in various forms, but can all rip you a new one!

Ratchet has worn various armours, made from all kinds of protective fibres and metals, including Carbonox, Electrosteel, Adamantine, Infernox and Trillium alloy. The amount of plating comprising these various sets has ranged from a helmet and a padded bodysuit, to a full-body exoskeleton.

Ratchet is rarely seen without his Swingshot, which allows him to swing across wide gaps. He also possesses Grind Boots that let him ride on rails; and Gravity Boots, which magnetically bind on metal surfaces, allowing Ratchet to traverse metallic walls.

Weaknesses:

For all his physical abilities, Ratchet is nowhere as resilient as his peers. Without sufficient armour or Nanotech, a well-placed shot could take him out easily, or at least incapacitate him temporarily.

As previously mentioned, Ratchet's inventions have sometimes blown up in his face, due to Ratchet's overconfidence in his abilities. What's more, Ratchet's status as one of the last Lombaxes in the universe often weighs heavily on his mind, and he can be a bit insecure about that subject.

Sylvester Connor 'Sly' Cooper

Aliases: Ringtail, Master Thief

Homeworld: Mobius

Species: Mobian Racoon (Procyon lotor sapiens)

Date of Birth: 23rd Autompium 3384 MA

Family:

Connor Cooper (father)

Isabella Cooper (mother)

Cooper clan

Bentley Umbreen (foster brother)

Murray Beaufort (foster brother)

Function: Special Operations Official

"You only steal from other thieves."

Sly Cooper is the most unorthodox hero in the entire League, given that, for all intents and purposes, he is a thief, albeit a Master Thief who steals only from criminals. As he says: "There's no honour, no challenge, no fun in stealing from normal people." This initially put him at odds with the Freedom Fighters and Interpol, and though they have recognised his noble tendencies, they still like to make sure he doesn't go too extreme, especially his love interest, Inspector Carmelita Fox.

Suave, cunning, occasionally devious, but ever the loyal gentleman, Sly hails from a long line of Master Thieves that have spanned various cultures and periods across Mobius. He was responsible for taking down the Fiendish Five, and helping to break up the Klaww Gang; both instances involving the mysterious robotic Owl Clockwerk, a centuries-old rival of his family. Though travelling to other planets is completely outside Sly's area of expertise, he's all too eager for the experience. He is the League's first option to take on dangerous infiltrations, extractions and raids, sometimes working alongside Thomas Holmes for missions for this. But whatever happens, he always insists having his best friends Bentley Umbreen and Murray Beaufort at his back.

Abilities:

Sly's main weapon, as a Master Thief, is stealth. Blessed with centuries of natural abilities through his Cooper blood, Sly has agility, reflex and balance in aplomb, and can perform physical feats few can match.

Through his family's book, the Thievius Raccoonus, Sly has mastered all kinds of talents, including invisibility, edging along walls on thin ledges, balancing on small points, grinding along rails and even minor time manipulation (i.e. speeding up or slowing down). He is a master of disguise, capable of rendering himself unrecognisable, sometimes even to his friends; pickpocketing, where the most vigilant of enemies may never feel him; and cracking the toughest of safes, albeit with the aid of Bentley. Sly's even capable of defying gravity for a short time, and survive plunging into deep water (though he usually prefers to avoid landing in water at all).

Weapons:

Sly is loathe to part with his Cooper Cane, which he inherited from his father the day he died. 168 centimetres, or 66 inches, long, it has a gold-embossed hook on the end in the same of an angular 'C'. It is extremely versatile, allowing Sly to pick pockets and locks, swing from hooks, and incapacitate enemies with a good whack. It can also be upgraded to deploy smoke bombs, electrocute opponents, induce insanity and split in two for climbing.

Weaknesses:

Sly is considerably weaker than most of his colleagues in terms of physical might, and while he is no slouch in hand-to-hand combat or handling powerful enemies, he has been overpowered in several occasions by physically stronger opponents.

Marinette Jeanne Pei Dupain-Cheng

Aliases: Ladybug, Lady Luck, Lucky Charm, Bugaboo, Wonderbug, Baker Girl

Homeworld: Earth

Species: Human (Homo sapiens)

Date of Birth: 9th July 2003 AD

Family:

Tom Dupain (father)

Sabine Cheng (mother)

Rolland Dupain (paternal grandfather)

Gina Dupain (paternal grandmother)

Yan Cheng (maternal grandfather)

Mei Cheng (maternal grandmother)

Shu Yin Cheng (maternal aunt)

Wang Cheng (maternal great-uncle)

Function: Miraculous Paladin

"Miracles and luck take preparation and plenty of opportunity; but above all, trust in yourself and those around you."

Apparently hailing from a distant galaxy, or perhaps even another universe, alongside her fellow Miraculous wielders, Marinette Dupain-Cheng herself wields the Miraculous Jewel of the Ladybug/Ladybird, granting her the power of creation and healing, and allowing her to become Ladybug. She has a strong passion for fashion, and hopes to be a fashion designer when she's older. Marinette is known for her sweet, pure and joyful persona, though she does struggle with self-confidence, often needing reassurance from her friends Alya and Tikki. She also takes her role as Ladybug seriously, likely due to her moral upbringing and sense of justice. Unfortunately, she currently struggles with trust issues, as she had a bit of a falling-out with her partner and love interest, Adrien Agreste/Cat Noir, and though they still work together amicably, Marinette knows she has a long way to go before he can trust her fully again.

Abilities:

As a civilian, Marinette is an exceptional creative fashion designer, often using her surroundings as inspiration, using both needles and sewing machines deftly and managing to impress even harsh critics like Gabriel Agreste or Audrey Bourgeois (barely). Working alongside fellow designers Rarity and John Wilde, Marinette has lent her skills to designing new suits for her allies that enable them to operate in various environments.

While a bit absent-minded, Marinette is quick-witted, her friends saying she always comes up with the right plan at the right time.

As Ladybug, Marinette has enhanced physical skills, specifically in speed and agility. She can react to and evade light-based attacks, and make massive leaps across tall buildings. Ladybug can crawl along walls and roofs like a real ladybird, and has recently gained ladybird wings on the back of her suit, granting her the ability to fly. Her strength is sufficient to topple even giant robots and walkers, and allow her to endure physical blows, great drops and extreme temperatures.

Ladybug's special power is the Lucky Charm, creating an object that helps her and her team to defeat their enemies, often in bizarre and creative ways. After purifying the Akuma/Amok, the Lucky Charm is then used to release a swarm of ladybugs that fixes the damage done by the enemy.

Through the use of potion-infused macarons, Ladybug can alter her costume for whatever befits the situation, e.g. Aqua, Ice, Space, etc.

Gadgets:

Marinette carries the Ladybug Miraculous, smooth, circular earrings with a silver lining. When charged, they turn red with five black spots in a quincunx pattern

As Ladybug, Marinette wears a full-body jumpsuit that is mostly red with black spots, though certain patches have inverted colours. A red domino mask with black spots adorns her face. The suit and mask are virtually indestructible and can withstand bullets, blaster bolts and blunt force trauma, and can even take light hits from lightsabers. However, it cannot fully mitigate injury, and certain magical weapons can penetrate it with enough force. To counter this, Ladybug has recently learned to create armour, increasing her durability. The full-body plating consists of a cuirass, pauldrons, vambraces, a codpiece, cuisses, poleyns, greaves and sabatons. This is for heavy battle missions, though Ladybug has alternated, depending on the scenario.

Additionally, Ladybug sports a literal ladybird shell on her back, which opens to unfurl her wings, thus enabling Ladybug to fly.

Ladybug's primary weapon is her yo-yo. About the size of the average human hand, the yo-yo resembles a ladybird's shell with five black spots in a quincunx pattern. Its black string is unlimited, and unbreakable, able to hold up cars, helicopters and even ships. It can serve as a grappling hook, latching onto enemies and reeling them in; a shield, by being spun around very quickly; a communicator with map and tracker included; a container for various objects; and even a buzzsaw, cutting through rock, metal and concrete with ease. It is Ladybug's way of purifying Akumas and Amoks after they've been released from their hosts and employing her Lucky Charm. Ladybug has also learned to transform her yo-yo into a pair of blades, the Ladyblades, allowing her to duel sword-wielding enemies.

Weaknesses:

Ladybug has sometimes inadvertently lashed out at others for not taking situations seriously, which can make her unpopular with fun-loving heroes. Her struggles with self-confidence often make it difficult for her to fully trust herself and her own decisions, and subsequently, her own friends as well. Ladybug often feels trapped by her responsibilities, and envies the freedom Adrien feels as Cat Noir.

Once she's used her Lucky Charm, Ladybug will have a limited time before her Miraculous runs out, and she turns back into Marinette. This is especially dangerous in hazardous environments and in the heat of the battle.

Function: Warrior, Commander, Jedi

"I am a Jedi, like my father before me; and more."

Luke Skywalker strives to rebuild everything that was destroyed by the Sith. He is co-founder of the League of Freedom, the New Republic and the New Jedi Order. He has played pivotal roles in some of the most significant battles in galactic history, such as the Battle of Yavin, the Battle of Endor and the Robotnik/Sloane Insurgence. Though his Jedi training and experiences have tempered the impatience of his youth, Luke remains an idealistic and liberal individual, who believes that there is good in everyone and is unshakeably loyal to his friends and family. He is a born leader, always able to maintain a level head in battle, despite his heart burning with justice and love.

However, the shadow and dark deeds of his father, Darth Vader, still hang over him, and Luke has often endured scorn and unfair judgment due to being Vader's son, even by his fellow Rebels and Jedi. Luke is determined to defend and redeem his father's legacy, even if he has to go to the ends of the universe to do so. Furthermore, though he feels obliged to restore the Jedi Order, Luke has sometimes questioned just how valuable the Jedi Order truly is, given their past arrogance and failures.

Abilities:

As the son of the 'Chosen One', Luke Skywalker is quite possibly the most powerful individual, not just among the Freedom Eight, but arguably the whole galaxy. Trained in the Jedi Arts by Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Grandmaster Yoda, Luke has proven a prodigal talent, much like his father before him, though he is willing to pace himself in how his skill grows.

His skills with the lightsaber are some of the most potent the galaxy has seen. Despite his lack of experience, Luke has held his own against Darth Vader, the butcher of countless Jedi, fought Darth Sidious to a standstill, and taken down entire armies singlehandedly. His personal technique is based mainly on Form V, known as Djem So, influenced, likely via instinct, by his father's application. This aptitude allowed him to outfence and defeat Vader in one-on-one combat. However, Luke has also integrated elements of Form III: Soresu and Form IV: Ataru into his technique, influenced by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda respectively. His skill with blast deflection is comparable to the former, and he fully embraces Ataru's emphasis of using the entire body as a weapon. Luke has also boasted skill in Jar'Kai dual-blade fencing, having first done so on Rodia, albeit out of instinct than skill, and has since honed it with a shoto lightsaber.

In terms of Force power, Luke is everything Anakin was, and more, with some saying he could become the most powerful Jedi to ever live. His ability to heal himself and boost his natural abilities makes him almost unbeatable and untouchable. With telekinesis, he has done everything from freezing entire crowds and masses of food and drink in place to toppling massive walkers with a simple nudge and blowing away whole armies. With only a small amount of training, Luke successfully destroyed the First Death Star through the Force, a shot considered borderline impossible by his comrades. His mental abilities allow him to resist mind control, siphon information from others without their knowing about it, disguise himself, cloak his presence and move around stealthily, bolster his allies' morale with Battle Meditation, and call to others and project detailed illusions countless light years away. Luke has also shown skill in rarer abilities, like Ionize (making robots self-destruct), Electric Judgment (a lesser version of Force Lightning), Tutaminis (absorption of energy), Phase and Elemental Manipulation.

Other skills in Luke's arsenal include being an expert pilot, having flown all kinds of ships; most famously, his X-Wing fighter. And he is a highly adept unarmed fighter, often chaining kicks and body slams into his lightsaber sequences, or sometimes, using them in place of his lightsaber. He is also adept at repairing machinery, like his father; and he is versed in various languages, like Huttese and Droidspeak.

Gadgets:

Luke initially wielded his father's lightsaber in his early Rebel days. However, after losing it on Bespin, along with his right hand, Luke constructed his own, based on schematics from Obi-Wan Kenobi. Skeletal in appearance and 28 centimetres long, with a silver ridged handgrip and a throttle-style activator, the weapon houses a green synthetic crystal that Luke forged himself.

Luke also carries a lightsaber shoto, a shorter lightsaber with a half-a-metre blade. This allows for better handling and precision in his off hand. The weapon is powered by a red-hued synthetic crystal.

Weaknesses:

Despite being a highly-motivated prodigal talent, Luke Skywalker is often plagued by the worry that he can never live up to everyone's hopes for him. And although he has forgiven his father, Luke hasn't forgotten the atrocities Vader committed, and is sometimes worried that he might make a bad decision and go down a similar path, or else, fail to prevent one of his students from doing the same. Though he trusts his instincts, he hasn't forgotten how doing so has sometimes led him into trouble.
