Prologue

He was going to do it today! His heart rate skyrocketed and his face grew hot as he stood up and walked into his hideout, where his gears were hideout, where his gears were. His breathing is so hard, and he can feel a sweat on his face. He knew that this would not be easy.

But that was the problem, right? If he didn't try it out, it wasn't going to be worth anything, would it? So why was he waiting around for a stupid chance to try something he'd already tried once? He hadn't been able to get any work done because he just couldn't focus, so now it was too late to change his mind or do anything about this.

"I can do this!" he said, trying to sound confident despite how nervous he was. "It's just a simulation... and I'm ready to get my ass kicked by the worst simulation ever!" And that made him smirk at himself a little bit. He looks at his headset in his hand. His eyes are focused on the small blue logo name on his gear. It said "OASIS."

OASIS is not the name of the company or a person. In fact, it is named after a virtual reality simulation that is currently being used as the world where most people spend their lives. It is an exact simulation that will only take place in a video game, a program specifically designed to simulate a simulation using OASIS data and information. It doesn't even need to have a real person involved. But, if you're going to inquire, what year is it? This is 2042, or you can call it Dystopia 2042, where the real world is sucky and people have a limited place to go, so OASIS is created to let people enjoy their lives and make their dreams come true.

Wade Watts is his name and also his real name, but he has other names in the OASIS world. That's right, everyone, including him, has a different name for where they enter OASIS. Wade looks at his headset, which is small and easy to put inside the bag. He looks at the accelerator, which is basically a treadmill. Before entering OASIS, he must open and activate the treadmill, which includes wearing a glove for safety. He set the gear for the first time before starting to wear the headgear.

"You've got this, man." "This is nothing," he told himself again. Then, without any further hesitation, he pressed the button and pushed down on the accelerator.

"Let's go!" he exclaimed. It started to spin, and soon the familiar sound of the computer screen popping out of his head was heard. He felt like screaming with happiness. Everything started going black, and suddenly multiple color flashes appeared in front of him. He felt like he was being sucked by a vacuum of wind before he saw one word appear in front of him.

OASIS

Before he could think of anything, He appeared out of nowhere into the massive forest, full of tree trunks and vines covering almost the whole ground, all over different types of flowers, trees, and grasses. The sun shone brightly above, creating rays of light everywhere Wade went in the forest. He turned around and saw a little bird flying towards him and landing on his shoulder. As far as he could tell, it was the same species, but he couldn't remember the name. It was really pretty, and Wade thought it might be a girl. The scenery was gorgeous, almost like one of those nature documentaries that are shown on TV every once in a while. But Wade knew that this was not nature. He is aware that this is a simulation and that this location is a , he cannot stop to admire the view in front of him.

Not only did the visuals look good, but the atmosphere and sounds of nature seemed to echo in his head as was nice. like a perfect soundtrack to an RPG game or even an anime. His breath quickened, and he could feel his heart rate rising from excitement. It felt great. It was like he was floating in the air, with the breeze flowing through his hair and caressing his skin. Wade loved everything about it, even when it made no sense and even when everything else was upside down. It was simply amazing. Despite knowing that this place was completely different from how the real world felt,

It was actually beautiful and peaceful, unlike anywhere else he had been. This world seemed to go on then again, he hasn't seen much of the real world yet, and he hasn't gone outside the house either, but still, somehow, it felt perfect. not too crowded, not too quiet, not too hot, not too cold. Just perfect. Everything felt like it was made for him. Wade was feeling great.

"Welcome, Player Parzival, You are currently in Westwind. This is a PVP area. Warning: This area allows for combat between players. If you die, your current item and half of your credit will drop." As usual, a menu popped up on Wade's face. He smiled a bit when he saw his name, which was "Parzival." Most players or people in OASIS consider their life in the virtual reality world to be their second life, so they create a new identity. Parzival started scrolling, reading, and highlighting what was on it.

Name : Parzival (Male)

A blue menu in front of him shows his information or his status. Life in OASIS is like a video game, so those stats are important to him and to all the players in OASIS. His current level is 10 because he once hunted some monsters in his spare time; however, he remained at level 10 for a year because he was too busy with school...he believes.

Most people start at Level 1, and in order to level up, you must kill a monster or complete a quest to earn the necessary experience points, or EXP. When you level up, you gain a stat point to improve your stats. STR is strength, which means physical damage and attack points. INT is intelligence, or basically magic damage and the ability to learn a new magic or skill. VIT is Vitality, which represents HP (or health points) and also represents defense against physical damage. WIS is wisdom, which helps improve the speed at which you can cast spells and use skills and also improves your MP, or Mana Point. AGI stands for agility, or quick movement and attack. LUC is essentially luck, which aids in the discovery of items from monsters.

"Well, let's hope this doesn't turn out badly." Parzival muttered while he made sure that his current planet and zone were not dangerous for his current level. The enemies in here are mainly monsters that live in forests, which might be low-level, but he still cannot let his guard down.

"Here we go." Parzival takes his weapon from his inventory. Inventory is where players keep all of their items, which are inside the menu. However, inventory has limited space and needs to be updated to expand its capacity. His weapon in his hand is a normal sword, like any beginner in a video game.

In fact, he felt a bit of regret for not purchasing a new weapon, but he is currently broke, so he should make do with what he has.

Parzival walked slowly into the forest. This planet is currently low-level, which is good for a low-level player like him. The planet on which he stands is called Wildmouth. He did not know the meaning of the word "name," but he could care less. The first thing he does when he steps into the place is to look around, checking whether there are any enemies in sight. There wasn't any, and so he decided to move forward.

The terrain was a bit rocky due to the fact that many animals roam freely in this land, and he didn't want to step on one of them to make the game more interesting. After walking about twenty meters into the wilderness, Parzival arrived at a large lake, a few meters deep, with little water on top and a large sound of noise coming from a tree behind took a few steps back, taking cover behind a rock as best he could since there wasn't much room for hiding there. He sits quietly and waits for any monsters in the distance to approach him, but there are none. In fact, the noise that he heard was a stop.

Parzival almost lets his guard down if he does not see the large shadow that falls onto him. He instinctively dodged back quickly. Fortunately, he dodged the attack that came from the creature in front of him. His stance went from normal to ready to attack immediately as he noticed the monstrous creature in front of him. The creature looks like some kind of tiger, but that's because the body has a long claw and tail behind it. However, the head and face are not so much like tigers. In fact, their eyes are black and green with a slit shape like a snake, just like a scorpion or maybe a dragonfly, but there seems to be some kind of horn, which made it look like the monster had two heads. The creature has sharp teeth like a cat, which is why it attacked him.

"Brinebeast Level 12!" Parzival screamed in his mind as soon as he read the monster's information bar. This ability allows players to check information on other players, items, objects, locations, and monsters.

He felt nervous when he found out that the monster in front of him was currently stronger than him by two levels.

The monster charged towards him, its right claw in front of it as it aimed straight at him. Parzival did not hesitate anymore and raised both of his swords up into the air, brought them to the side, and then swung them together, making three loud clashing sounds with each other that made it possible to hear a loud screeching sound coming out of the creature. He dodged the beast, but before that, Parzival moved backwards, causing the monster to miss him and crash into another rock. It growled in pain and turned back to look at Parzival, who was standing close by his sword.

Parzival raised his sword over his head before delivering the blade toward the creature's neck, but this time when the blade came near, the creature suddenly moved in a circle quickly. Before he can react, a strong wind comes rushing in and pushes him backwards until he falls onto the ground. Parzival rolled back a little to get rid of the impact. He saw the creature charging toward him again and raising his swords to defend himself once he was on his feet, but before that...

"What the hell?" Parzival said as he watched the monster leap into the air, land behind him, and then deliver the large calves into his back. He dodged its attacks. It looked so fast to him, but he knows for a fact that he is fast enough and that his reaction speed is very high, so he is able to escape its attacks. He jumped to the side when it swung its claws toward him.

Parzival used his left arm to block the claws from slicing his stomach, but then the creature grabbed his arm with its teeth and pulled him back. It then threw Parzival to the ground and crouched down. He stood up quickly and stabbed the sword right into the middle of the monster's chest.

However, Brinebeast used the same move to push him away again, and the strong wind that came along with its attack pushed Parzival further backward. The beast had rushed forward before and tried to bite his neck, but this time he was fast enough to counterattack.

Suddenly, his left hand grew warm, and light started appearing on it. He delivered a left hook straight to the beast's face. This made its head hit a nearby rock hard, but Parzival did not want to end here yet. He used his leg to kick the beast's lower stomach, causing it to fly up to the sky before landing hard on the ground. It was then Parzival's turn to attack. His stance changed into an attack stance before he performed a running thrust.

It's impossible to hit Brinebeast from afar without dodging the attack, but what actually happened was the tip of the sword hit the beast's stomach, causing it to fall back a little on its feet. The creature's eye grew with a shock in it because Parzival moved too fast before delivering a thrust attack to its stomach, which is its weakness. It was hit on the head and was rolling on the ground in pain.

As it got up from the ground, Parzival raised his sword and stabbed the beast multiple times until its body stopped moving. Despite the multiple slashes, there is no blood from the creature.

Given that this is a world where children are permitted to fight monsters, it would be preferable to use a red light to indicate the wound rather than blood.

After finishing off the creature, Parzival wiped the sweat off his forehead. He took a small bag and opened it, pulling out some red potion, which was used to heal the wound and restore the HP. Then he drank it and waited for its effects to take effect. Parzival was happy and excited, and even though he is in a video game, he still feels the sweat in his face, and his heart runs very fast because of how tense the situation is.

He could not be more happy that he learned the skill "square off," which was used to deliver a heavy blow to Brinebeast; otherwise, it will be a difficult fight for him.

In his head, Parzival heard the sound that reminded him about the EXP and item that he gained from killing Brinebeast, but he did not care as he was too excited at this moment. He felt like this was not enough, and he heard the roaring from the forest, but this time he could hear multiple beasts that were ready to kill him.

But who said he would let them eat him...

"Let the real fight begin," Parzival said, smiling like a warrior eager for the battle. He removed his shield from his inventory before placing it in his left hand. He walked forward to meet the monster horde. ready to begin his adventure from here...

This is just my first story, so sorry if your guy doesn't like it. I just want to write something.
