It was a bright sunset around Equestria. The Mane 6 and Spike had arrived at the Crystal Empire.

"Hoo-wee! Your very first Princess Summit. You must be over the moon, Twilight!", Applejack cheers.

Twilight Sparkle answers Applejack, "Oh, I am excited, but, to be honest, I'm a little nervous too."

Pinkie Pie startles Twilight just gives her excitement.

"You're nervous-cited! It's like you want to jump up and down and yell, YAY ME! but you also want to curl up in a teeny tiny ball and hide at the same time.", corrected Pinkie Pie, pretending to jump up and down, and curl like a ball. She then returns to her original position. "We've all been there."

Fluttershy joins in, saying "I'm there almost every day."

"You've got no reason to fret, Twi. Everything's gonna be just-"

"TWILIGHT!" Rarity screamed, startling Twilight and their friends. "Oh sorry, girls. I just realized Twilight's not wearing her crown. You haven't forgotten it back at Ponyville, haven't you?"

"It's in my bag." Twilight answers, as we see Spike with Twilight's luggage.

She then concerns, "Just feel a little self-conscious about wearing it.", about her crown, and then about her new wings: "Haven't really gotten accustomed to these yet, either."

"You are a princess now, Twilight. Embrace it! I'm telling you, if I had a crown like that, I would never take it off. Why I'd sleep in the thing." Rarity suggests.

As the Mane 6 goes inside, there are several guards on their left and right on the carpet who are doing the horn fanfare, with the three princesses waiting.

Twilight bumps into one of the guards, who was different than the rest of the guards, saying: "Her highness, Princess Twilight Sparkle!"

As the group then comes to the end of the room to meet the three royal princesses, and that's when they meet.

"Twilight! I haven't seen you since the coronation!" Cadence relieves, nuzzling her sister-in-law.

"We have so much to discuss. But it can wait until tomorrow. You all look tired from your journey.", greeted Celestia to the Mane 6 and Spike.

"Now, off to bed, all of you." Celestia told them in a kind way.

In Twilight's and Spike's bedroom, they were preparing for sleep, but Twilight, laments about something, sighing to get Spike's attention.

"What's wrong, Twilight?" Spike asks.

"I don't know, Spike, I'm just worried, I guess. Princess Cadence was given the Crystal Empire to rule over.", Twilight explains. "What if now that I'm a princess, Princess Celestia expects me to lead a kingdom of my own?"

"That would be awesome!", Spike suggests.

"No, it would [i]not/i]! " Twilight grumbled, walking around, continuing to explain. "Just because I have this crown and these wings, it doesn't mean I'll be a good leader."

"Now, come on. You should get some shut-eye. Big day tomorrow.", Spike finishes, while tucking Twilight to bed.

With Spike was sleeping, he woke up suddenly due to Twilight's noises. They both see Twilight trying to get her wings calmed down.

"Can't...tuck! Just trying to get comfortable!", gritted Twilight, who finally got her wings calmed down.

Twilight groans in anger as the blanket falls back down on her. They came back down, back in their position.

As the opening credits end, the camera pans down from the title back to the Crystal Empire.

Laster in the middle of the night in a room a light shined quickly and then the door slightly opened and a hooded pony looked at the guard and was about to get past him. The pony then continued until the pony made it to Twilight's room and when in quiet.

See the crown the pony used magic to get to replace it with another one that looked the same, but the pony almost knocked over the lamb, but luck used magic to catch it and put it back.

However, the pony tripped over Spike and woke him.

"Huh?" Spike yawned, "What?"

Twilight then woke up, yawning to see her crown in the mystery pony clock.

"My crown! She's got my crown! Stop! Thief! She's stolen my crown!" Twilight yelled, getting up and chasing after her.

The pony ran, but Twilight when after both passed the other room as they opened their doors, and gasped.

"Stop!" yelled Twilight teleporting in front of the pony, only for the pony to do the same and the clock to land on Twilight. She got it all her look to see a yellow-coated unicorn with a red and yellow striped mane and tail.

The unicorn against to run and made it back into the room she came from, but Twilight tackled her and the crown bounced around a bit for going through a mirror. "What did you do with my crown?" demanded Twilight as her friends arrived.

The yellow unicorn grinned and said, "Sorry it had to be this way... Princess."

Then she when through the mirror too. All gasped and Fluttershy was the one to ask who she was.

"Who was that?" Fluttershy asked.

In the morning Celestia explained about it and who that mysterious pony was.

"Sunset Shimmer. A former student of mine. She began her studies with me not long before Twilight. But when she did not get what she wanted as quickly as she liked, she turned cruel and dishonest." Celestia explained, "I tried to help her, but she eventually decided to abandon her studies and pursue her own path. One that has sadly led to her stealing your crown."

"She replaced Twilight's with this one," said Spike holding up the fake crown as Celestia looked at it for a moment.

"I suppose Sunset Shimmer thought you wouldn't notice right away that this was not yours." Celesia said, "And by the time you did, it would be too late to go after your crown and Element of Harmony."

"But I don't understand. Where did she go? Why did she take the crown?" Twilight asked.

Celestia leads everyone out of the throne room.

"You'll soon know more about this place than even I do," Celestia informed.

Celestia then leads them in front of the mirror, where the other princess is. Princess Luna then explains about the mirror the crown and Sunset entered through.

"This is no ordinary mirror. It is a gateway to another world. A gateway that opens once a year" Luna said.

"Sparkly!" Pinkie giggled, as she touched the magic mirror.

Luna used his magic to move Pinkie away while rolling her eyes.

"It has always been kept in the throne room of Canterlot Castle, but when Princess Cadance took over the Crystal Empire, we sent it here for her to watch over," Luna explained.

"I had always hoped that Sunset Shimmer would someday use it to return, to come back to Equestria seeking my guidance." Celestria sighed, "Obviously, this is not what has happened."

"Twilight, you must use the mirror to go into this other world and retrieve your crown." Cadence said, "Without it, the other Elements of Harmony have no power, and Equestria is left without one of its most important means of defense," said Cadence.

"Your crown does not belong in the place Sunset Shimmer now calls home and in her possession, your Element of Harmony will no doubt be used to bring harm to the inhabitants of this other realm." Luna said, "They will don't know the power that the crowns have and must not know."

"You understand the importance of your task?" Celestia asked.

"Of course," said Twilight.

"Good, then you must go at once," said Celestia.

Twilight sighed and moved forward, but Rainbow Dash landed in front of her.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! She's going, we're going with her." Rainbow said, with the others beside her and Pinkie squeed. "Right girls?"

" Oooh! I'm so 'nervicited'!" Pinkie said with joy.

"You do realize that's not a real word, right?" Applejack said with skepticism.

"I'm afraid I can't let you go," said Celestia.

"What! Why not?" Rainbow asked, confused as the others were too.

"Sending all of you could upset the balance of this alternate world, creating havoc that would make it impossible for Twilight to get the crown back from Sunset Shimmer." Celestia explained, "This is something Princess Twilight must do alone,"

"Time is of the essence. On the third day, when the moon reaches its peak in the night sky, the gateway will close." Luna said. " And once it does, it will be another thirty moons before you will be able to use it to return."

Twilight nodded and understand and was lucky she had all the time too. She moved up and stop in front of the mirror looking at it. She put her hooves through first then moved into it. Spike, however, was scared and nervous and ran forward into the mirror as the girls yelled.

"Spike, NO!" The mane 5 yelled.

Twilight and Spike were in a colorful vortex as they were heading to this other world.

Her eyes open to see train tracks with a ladybug crawling across them. Twilight was moaning in pain as we see this. We then see Spike in another form, which is not similar to a dragon, but zoomed-in due to her POV.

"Uh, Twilight?", Spike

"Huh? Spike?" You're not supposed to-" Twilight says as she sees Spike in another form. "Spike? Are you a..."

We zoom out to his alternate form as he was a Class A6 "Boxcab" diesel-electric switcher.

"...Movable Metal Box?"

Spike then looks at his engine self and tries to move. Luckily, he started to move forwards and backward to get used to this strange body, but he looked at Twilight and know what she actually looked like.

"I think so, but...you might need to look at yourself right near that mirror...", Spike hesitates, confused and knew what she has become.

We then see her hoofs, but her hoofs turned to train buffers. And then... she looks at the mirror to know what she looked like.

Exit Twilight's POV

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!", Twilight screams, as the camera pans out to see Spike as a diesel boxcab and Twilight, in particular, as a Tank Engine (TVR O2 class 0-6-2). She tries to calm down, so as not to scream so much.

Twilight, with curiosity, tried her best to gain control of her Tank Engine form as she tries to figure out how to move in this heavy train form. She overreacts, then moves forward, bumping in front of Spike by accident, and finally pulls her breaks...

"Why does the rest of me look like... A TRAIN?!" Twilight screamed, about to overreact about her train form again.

"Well... we were on a train to arrive at the Crystal Empire. Your muzzle's very small.", Spike examines.

"My muzzle?!"

Twilight couldn't touch her muzzle, since she doesn't have arms. About to scream again, Spike used his horn to stop her screaming.

"Are you gonna scream again?" Spike fears.

Twilight nods no and Spike looks at her.

They all look around and see a Station with Steam Engines from their world, moving and chugging their way with trucks.

"Where are we?" Spike gulped.

"I don't know... This must serve as a gateway back to Equestria." expected Twilight. She shakes her locomotive body, reminding her of her quest of getting the crown back. "We need to find my crown as soon as possible and get back there. I suggest we start searching around first."

Turning away from the magic buffers, they are astonished to see another view of a Big Station far ahead.

"I suppose we start searching the castle first!" imagined Twilight.

As Spike led Twilight out of the forest., she starts to move a little fast, even though she's an engine. Twilight then heard a while and a voice coming by. An bright blue "E2" Tank Engine was moving by with his two orange coaches when he noticed a purple steam engine and Boxcab Diesel he saw as they were out of the forest.

"Oh, Hello there! I'm Thomas!" The Blue Tank Engine said, revealing his name to be Thomas. "Are you two new around here? I love meeting new engines around Sodor!"

"Hi, there... uh... Thomas!" Spike shuddered, which made Thomas notice that these two have never been to this island before.

"Woah! I don't think I've ever seen anyone like you two before. Do you two live really far away?" Thomas asked curiously, since he's met new engines before, but has never seen Twilight and Spike before.

"Uh... of course Thomas..." Twilight said, nervously, but came up with an idea of where they came from to not reveal their secret. "My name is Twlight Sparkle... and this is Spike, the weird moving metal box thing... We came from a faraway railway called Steamquestria!"

"Steamquestria?" Thomas questioned. "I never heard a railway like that before... and I believe Spike is a Diesel Boxcab, but what brings you two here in Sodor?"

"Dear me, Steamquestria, Clarribel?" Annie questioned.

"Never heard of a particular name for a railway, Annie," Clarribel muttered.

"Sodor?" Twilight and Spike questioned.

"It's an island we live around here, where each engine does its jobs and branch lines around the island," Thomas explained. "Would you two be to explore around Sodor with me to know what it's like to be on the island?"

"Oh, Sure thing, Thomas!" Spike said, now that he didn't studdered, "Since Twilight and I was getting out of this forest, were trying to get a hold of our strange metal bodies."

"Come on, guys. I do not want to be like this for longer than I have to." Twilight grumbled as she was getting a little impatient.

"Well, look on the bright side. You don't have those pesky wings to worry about anymore." Spike encouraged.

Twilight gave Spike an angry look, but then looked at Thomas as he was confused about what Spike said.

"I mean... he was referring to the birds from the sky..." Twilight clarified but realized something she tried to do. "Ugh... My magic...isn't working!"

"Makes sense. You don't exactly have your horn." Spike answered.

"WHAT!?" Twilight yelled since her hoar isn't there.

"Oh, don't worry about your little magic show, Twilight, it's time for you two to follow me," Thomas said happily, "Time to explore the world of Sodor!"

Thomas whistled as he chugs his way to explore around Sodor to meet friends, engines, and everyone around, making Twilight and Spike follow the Blue Tank Engine Twilight is trying her best to get used to her engine form, while Spike has gotten used to it.

The three then chugged out of the forest from the Magic Buffers, in search of the crown but also exploring around Sodor as they were chugging. Twilight tries to slow down her balance as she briefly looked at Spike on her right just as confused as he is about all of this, realizing getting used to their engine forums, but managed to catch up with Thomas so that they don't miss out. Twilight smiled at him to thank him, since being an engine was strange at first but practice could do the trick, to which Thomas kindly returns with a smile in return before they continued forward.

That's quite like this

Everything is turned around

This crazy world is upside-down

Getting on my wheels

It's the ashes that I was dealt

But I don't have much time with them

Got to learn all that I can.

Twilight sang in her mind as she chugged around the railway.

As they looked around as they traveled to Brendam Docks, Twilight and Spike saw the difference in how steam engines do things in this world compared to their world as they see one purple Class N2 shunting trucks around, two yellow twin Bagnall 0-4-0STs working together, a green Metro-Cammell Class 101/102 DMU diesel traveling though, a black Class 08 diesel-electric shunter Diesel performing some act to be rude to the steam engines, and another engine who was an Orange Manning Wardle L Class 0-6-0ST Chugging through with his trucks.

All the while, Twilight is the most interested and intrigued by all of this as she peers at a Green 0-4-0 saddle tank engine, which is Thomas' best Friend, Percy, bringing his mail to Brendam Docks. Noticing Thomas and his new friends, Percy introduced himself to them, which made Twilight and Spike happy that Thomas has made many friends around Sodor. Percy then says goodbye to them, as he chugs his way to the next station.

They don't use any magic or fly with any wings

I don't get these heavyweights, moving wheels, or tiny nose

Everything's confusing when it seems so new

But I look a little closer and it starts to feel familiar too.

Twilight sang in her mind as she walked around the railways.

As they chugged forward to the Skarloey Railway, a narrow gauge engine of Scootaloo (0-4-0ST Hunslet quarry tank engine) was chugging by and used her whistle to Thomas and his new friends, while pulling logs of wood to which Spike got distracted. The narrow gauge versions of Apple Bloom (2-6-2T locomotive) and Sweetie Belle (Penrhyn Port Class) chugging after her. The two look at each in the confusion about what they had just seen.

"Is it me or did that look like the Cutie Mark Crusaders' other world counterparts?" Spike asked as he watched them run down behind them.

"Looks like it," Twilight answered just as surprised as Spike.

The trio then chugged to Henry's Forest, where she gets a good look at herself in her reflection on a mirror that was on a board as she stops to look at the mirror. Just then, a Big Green Engine comes into the forest to meet Thomas' new friends.

Apparently, Twilight whistled too loudly in Henry's Forest due to seeing a Green Stanier 5MT "Black Five" 4-6-0. right beside here as was surprised, which caused the animals to go on a ruckus and the Big Green Engine to react in shock, and scared as he chugged backward out of there.

"Sorry, Henry! My new friends are looking around on Sodor!" Thomas apologized on Twilight's behalf as they quickly ran off from Henry's forest.

Twilight's mind sang as the trio explored around Sodor. Thanks to Thomas for introducing Twilight and Spike to the world of Sodor and meeting a few engines, it seemed Sodor is a place for anyone who is engines to work for the railway and meet the civilians around the island to see the engines. But now that Twilight and Spike know about Sodor now, they chuffed around with Thomas to hear two familiar voices in Peel Godred.

Inspired by "Lego Equestria Girls" by Chronicler06 and "Thomas & Equestria Girls" by LPFanFic, a spin on the Original Equestria Girls plot with the Thomas Elements from the CGI era. The story is originally from FimFiction, but since the site has a reputation for its dislike ratio, it's better to put it here on this site.
