Chapter 3

Leokumon and Rei travel towards the direction of the explosion and find an empty crater with some tracks.

"Hmm it seems there was a scuffle and the kids split up… they really do not listen do they?"

Rei tilts her head wondering who he is talking about. Leokumon detects some by standers nearby and calls out, "Either you come out here or I come get you"

Banchomamemon exits from the bushes looking absolutely enraged, other mamemon follow behind him "You with those kids mate?"

Leokumon sighs, "What happened now?"

"One of those brats took something real nice from my gal, I want it back." Banchomamemon cracks his knuckles, "If I don't get it back then… " SNAP. Banchomamemon snaps his fingers, out comes Bugsy, Hina and Sealomon being held hostage by mamemon grunts. "Fingers are gonna go missing, then limbs then-"

Bugsy makes a girly shriek "NOOOOO PLEASE! IT WASN'T US I SWEAR! I'm a good kid!" He starts to cry a wail around. Hina pats Bugsy, "Kyu is here, he'll save us. Calm down Bugsy"

"But they are gonna… WAH!"

Banchomamemon lets out a powerful punch to a tree that turns a tree into splinters. "Shut up, kid" Bugsy faints from shock and fear. Hina is also visibly shaken by the sheer vibration of the punch.

Leokumon puts a hand up, "Alright, alright stop picking on the rookie, I'll go get your missing… what was it?"

"Golden Scepter, you got 24 hours before I start cracking those limbs off. Drop off is at Deep Green cave bottom level." Banchomamemon makes a hand gesture and disappears back into the greenery.

Leokumon gives an annoyed sigh, "Rei… I'm sorry but we are going to take a detour. It seems my protégé and his partner have finally gone off the deep end. They aren't bad kids they just don't make good decisions."

Half a day later.

Otamamon Village

"Here you go oh great one!" An otomamon villager bows before their saviors feeding them offerings. Kayden and Sablemon enjoy the feat before them with their leader shogungekomon. It only took a few words and a lot of unnecessary violence to an innocent nanimon to convince them they would take out the mamemon mafia.

"Good, good enjoy the feast heroes!" Gekomon play their terrible songs for them.

Kayden, "Er, we enjoy eating to the natural peace of the uh… jungle yea."

Shogungekomon claps. "You heard our heroes! Shoo shoo! Let them eat in peace!" Everyone exits the jungle hut leaving them both alone.

"You are so smart boss! He he he!" Sablemon gives a high five to Kayden. "Of course I am, we just need to finish and get out of here before they show up. Just follow my lead"

Meanwhile,

Leokumon and Rei followed the footprints towards the Otamamon village. They walk into a shogungekomon pleading for the lives of his villagers beneath an angry Regalecusmon and his minions. "All… all our offerings are gone sir! I- I'm so sorry please don't kill us! It was all taken by a human child and his squirrelmon!"

"I didn't come here for excuses! I came here for food!" Regalecusmon stabs a gekomon and eats him.

"Aiiiiiiiiiiigh!" CRUNCH!

"G- Gekomon noo!"

Leokumon appears, "Hey, you guys know where a child and his fuzzy partner went?"

"Hmm another appetizer" Regalecusmon turns to face Leokumon. Shogungekomon and the others step back.

Leokumon is unphased by him, "hang on tightly to my head fuzz Rei"

Regalecus takes a stab towards Leokumon who dodges it smoothly,

"Fist of the Beast King!" Leokumon sends Regalecusmon flying into several trees causing a massive ball of leaves, splinters and dust to cover the field.

Regalecusmon shouts, "You! *cough* you think that's enough to-"

"TERRA FORCE!"

Regalecusmon, "oh shi-"

He is evaporated in seconds, all of his minions scatter into the trees and the otamamon villagers can only stare in shock at what they just witnessed. The smoke clears and only another massive crater is left of what used to be Regalecusmon.

"Once again, where did they go?"

The words are lost on a babbling shogungekomon but a red otamamon bounces up, "I know, I know! Follow, follow!"

Leokumon carries Rei in his arms again. Rei is unsure of what just happened and why it happened all she knew is it's a good thing Leokumon is on her side. Leokumon whispers to her, "Just so you know, he was a first time mega. A wimp pretty much. Though a lot of wild Digimon are much weaker than older Digimon and tamers like me and you."

'how old am i?' Rei asks.

"Hmm I don't honestly know… Last I remember you were 23 many years ago? My memories are just as messed up as yours… I remember everything I've done but time wise, I don't know. I can't tell you everything because I just can't but we will figure it out together. Right now I do remember the first time we fought together I was a waynamon and you were a rookie! You cried when we lost that first match you thought I died. He heh. Back then I didn't understand what sorrow was but it felt terrible, so I wanted to be stronger for you."

Leokumon seems to smile as he tells her about their battles together, good and bad. It sounds like we were together for a long time, I wish I knew what happened before. Leokumon looks at her, "It's ok, because I remember the day I was-"

"There! There!" Otamamon bounces and points at the direction of the two jerks in the tree.

Sablemon looks down, "Aniki!" then hops out the tree and gives a salute to him. Leokumon gives him a death glare. Sablemon starts to sweat, "Aniki… we… uh… I might have… uh…" he gulps. Kayden jumps down, "Heeeeeeeyyyy Kyu!"

"Sablemon is there anything you'd like to tell us?"

Sablemon breaks under the pressure, "OK I did it! I took the gold scepter! The offerings under the gekomon alter, Frankie's spare clothes all of it! I'm sorry. I'm just a sablemon after that sweet, sweet loot!"

"It's fine, we blew up the mamemon and made off with some supplies for the others when they cool off." Kayden says dismissively.

Kayden notices a hermit crab like Digimon on Leokumon's head, he points, "What's that?"

Leokumon grits his teeth, "THAT is my partner, and YOU both have made a mess."

"That is your partner? Does it do something special or is it just a hat?" Kayden pokes Rei who loses her grip. Leokumon catches her and starts to fume.

"Kayden, I'm not playing with you. Bugsy, Hina and Sealomon are in some real trouble. Where are the others?"

Kayden shrugs, "I don't know, Frankie got all mad after I got rid of the mamemon. So what's that about Bugsy and Hina?"

"The mamemon mafia is pissed, sablemon took a golden scepter from his 'gal' and now he either wants it back or limbs are going to go *CRACK* if you get my drift."

Kayden responds, "What about the others? They all went in the same direction how did they get caught off guard?"

"I don't know, but we need to get to the Deep Green Jungle cave in about… ah leomon's tail! We only got a couple of hours left before it's curtains for them."

"Well lets go!"

Digimon Entry-

Sealomon

Level: Rookie, Attribute: Data, Type: Aquatic

Special Ability: Metal Fin, Slipper Flipper

Sealomon is a half mermaid half waxy seal creature. Often it is mistaken for a beautiful sirenmon due to it's shiny nature and metallic tail. It's upper half is so waxy it's incredibly hard to grip or catch, the lower half is metallic and sharp so a slap to the face can break even the hardest crustacean shell. Sealomon is naturally a cheerful, sea loving sailor Digimon. It loves to travel around the world and explore new places. Although, it tends to have the mouth of a sailor it is always honest and straight to the point. It's pride and joy is always the great shape it's horn is in however do be careful how you word your compliments, it will run away if it feels uncomfortable or threatened.

Take Note: Calling a sealomon a beautiful mistress/mermaid will result in multiple injuries and a very disgruntled sealomon. Attempts on catching a sealomon will result in the worse deep tissue papercuts you will ever encounter. Attempts on hugging a sealomon may end in a poke to the eyeball from a very sharp horn.
