Chapter 4

Earlier In Green Jungle…

Frankie and the others were backtracking their way out of the Green Jungle and to the Locomon station.

"I'm still pissed off! Who does that kid think he is anyway?! He's not the only guy here!" Frankie kicks rocks on the ground and continues to mutter angrily.

Milo speaks up, "You know, he did technically handle the problem though. I mean I don't think those mamemon would have let us pass without a huge fight."

Gatormon yawns, "I think you are over reacting Frankie, we are here to protect you. Also, I don't think we should be going this way"

"Protect us? Yea right, we shouldn't have been put in that situation in the first place!" Frankie shouts.

Coilymon speaks up, "Trees. Speak. Warning. Not Right."

"See even Coilymon agrees!" Frankie whines.

"No." Coilymon starts to coil and changes to a hazard warning.

Donniemon, "Yo, he's sayin' we got trouble comin' ya hear?"

The kids stop to take in their surroundings and listens

Yvette has her earmuffs on to block out Frankie's whining, and continues to walk forward ignoring the warnings. Donniemon pulls her back as a digital zombie pops out of the trees. The moaning starts to grow as well as the number of them. Yvette yells and jumps back. She yanks the ear muffs off, "When where you going to speak up?!" She gives a nasty glare.

A big juggernaut zombie comes out and charges at them. They jump out the way and the juggernaut rams into several trees, sending debris flying. Feral Zombies are soon behind him the kids are separated into two groups, the older kids to left and the younger kids go right.

Elmurtemon uses "Dios del la Blasta" to push them back and slow them down by making even more trees fall in their path. It doesn't take long for them to climb over.

Sealomon uses "Slipper Flipper" to enhance everyone's speed. Hina spies a small opening to a cave for them to escape in.

"Bugsy! Tell Elmurtemon to blast that entrance down!"

Bugsy is in hysterics barely able to focus on anything but his fear, Sealomon pushes him forward and faster as the Feral Zombies start to close in. Elmurtemon doesn't need an order from Bugsy fortunately and the kids escape into the cave, shutting off the entrance. However it also causes a massive cave in and landslide, pushing them down into the darkness.

Meanwhile, the older kids run the other direction away from the Feral Zombie and Juggernaut.

Milo curses, "They already reached this far?! Coilymon can you manipulate the trees to slow them down?"

Coilymon uses, "Bramble Scramble"

Thorns and roots from nearby trees assist in making a thorny path too difficult for most of the zombies to pass, even entangling a bunch like a clotted artery. Though the juggernaut slams through it with ease and chases them down.

They make a good distance but the juggernaut catches up and slams himself into the ground. The kids find themselves at a dead end facing a cliff.

Yvette shouts, "Milo roots from trees pull us up! Donniemon, scratch out eyes. Frankie-"

Frankie got hit on the head with the debris dazing him for a second. Gatormon holds back the juggernaut who is punching Gatormon hard.

"Donniemon, Claw Out eyes now!"

Donniemon flies up and uses, "Osprey Claws" effectively blinding the juggernaut from going after Frankie.

Gatormon then uses, "Kaiju blast" Shooting a large ball of energy that knocks him backwards to the ground. Frankie snaps out of it as Milo helps him over where Coilymon uses the roots to pull him up.

Yvette shouts, "Hurry, more come in the distance."

Next Milo goes up, then Yvette.

Gatormon is too heavy to carry alone for coilymon, so Donnie grabs his face and starts flapping. Milo, Coilymon and Yvette pull Gatormon up in the nick of time. As the juggernaut starts to ram into the cliff face trying to cause it to collapse. From the top they can see infected starting to swarm the jungles and corrupt the area slowly spreads rotting away all the vegetation into a wasteland. The kids are running out of time.

Frankie asks, "Where is bugsy?"

Yvette and Milo help him up, "With Hina, talk later we must run much farther"

"But.."

Milo says, "Not the time for brotherly concern, right now is self-preservation time. The others will be fine… probably"

Present- Deep Green Jungle Cave - Entrance

Leokumon, Rei, Sablemon and Kayden approach the entrance guarded by two bouncer mamemon.

"Hold up, what's your business scrubs?" Says one of the bouncers.

"Sablemon, give it to me." Sablemon pulls out a large golden rod out of his bag.

Both bouncers gasp, "You got a deathwish?!" The bouncers whisper to each other, "These guys are dead" The other nods.

"Can we go now?" Kayden says rudely.

"Hey, watch your mouth kid! Da boss has been in a foul mood lately. One of you offend him and well…" The bouncer takes a stick and CRACK. They step aside allowing them in. "Backdoor, down the stairs, keep going straight"

Inside the cave is a disco club where all sorts of ball shaped monsters party and drink. One takes a look at the golden scepter in leokumon's hand and the whole club falls silent. One guy goes, "Oh they are so dead"

Another goes, "Isn't that his gal's scepter?"

One with a cowboy accent goes, "There goes either the dumbest or bravest SOBs I done see today. Someone ain't walkin' out alive."

The backdoor is guarded by a bigmamemon, "I remember you! You blew me up! Oh I am ready to pound you to dust!"

Sablemon glares back at him, "Bring it on, I'll wipe the floor with you and your petty boss!"

A messenger comes around and whispers into the bigmamemon's ear, "Heh heh" he moves aside, "Yea you keep talking like that, bye bye squirrelmon". Sablemon growls, but Leokumon hushes him. They go down the stairs into a dark forboding hallway. They can hear Bugsy scream and cry, "Great Mamemon! This kid has been going on for hours! Only a few more mins until we can shut the brats up!" Hina has spare earmuffs on and while reading 'War and Peace'. The room is much like a fancy dungeon throne room where you would find the final boss with passages leading different directions underground. The guard mamemon are agitated and are on their last nerves when leokumon approaches with the scepter.

Banchomamemon comes down and introduces his 'gal', QueenMamemon. Henchmen take the scepter and release the kids and Sealomon. "Finally, what took so long. I wasn't sure how much longer Bugsy could go on without passing out from dehydration."

"So… that's it, we good now? So much for immediate danger" Kayden scoffs.

Queenmamemon inspects her scepter and taps a spot with her finger. Banchomamemon takes a look, "You kiddin me? You think I would just let you jerks just walk out like that? I'll let the others go but the squirrelmon and delinquent stay for a long deserved but whooping."

"Oh yea? Come at me bro. You and me, right here, right now!" Sablemon talks big and Kayden is by his side.

"Where do you think you are kid? Who do you think you are? I ain't a bad guy and if you apologized I would have just let you go, but now I'm not even content" Banchomamemon snaps his fingers and from all the passages mamemon swarm out of them.

"Ah, maybe we need to stop provoking people" Sablemon cowers a little bit.

Kayden stands up, "Yea right, I've been dying for a good brawl. Let's go! Sablemon digivolve"

Sablemon digivolves into Badgermon.

Leokumon leans on the wall, and watches from a safe distance.

"Hey aren't you guys gonna join in?" Kayden asks.

Hina visibly angry says, "Just apologize to him and let's get out of here Kayden. We are too tired for this."

The mamemon swarm both Kayden and Badgermon but they stand their ground and start wailing on them all. BanchoMamemon beats Badgermon down and gives Kayden a good thwack to his stomach. Leokumon interferes when BanchoMamemon tries to stomp him on the ground.

"Enough, he learned his lesson" Leokumon pushes him back.

"We are too far for lessons now!" BanchoMamemon starts to gather his strength. Leokumon uses "Fist of a thousand beast kings" and sends all the mamemon flying backwards. Banchomamemon is not deterred and lets out a firey punch, Leokumon stops his punch, grabs his fist and tosses him aside. Rei falls from the impact onto the floor and skitters towards Kayden who is knocked out on the floor. Banchomamemon and Leokumon get into a firey fist fight. While he's distracted Queenmamemon approaches with the scepter to continue the vicious beating on Kayden and Badgermon but Rei stands in her way.

Rei wants to defend this child even though his decisions are extremely questionable she won't stand letting someone who is down get hurt anymore.

Minomon Digivolves into Trilomon.

Trilomon takes the beating meant for both Badgermon and Kayden. Badgermon looks up, finds the strength to stand then gets down on all four, "I'm sorry. I took your scepter and scraped it. Please leave my friends alone… You won't see us again I swear… I ask for mercy"

Queenmamemon claps as if she achieved something great, Banchomamemon and Leokumon stop fighting. "Did you get what you wanted sweetheart?" Queenmamemon nods.

Banchomamemon walks up to Badgermon who is beaten, "We aren't bad Digimon, but we have common sense. You got guts I'll give you that and only that."

Banchomamemon points towards the exit. "That direction leads to the locomon station, I heard your friends are almost there. We already know this area is doomed, we also know who you are and where you need to go. Don't think everyone is as merciful as I, Crystal mountain folk don't take kindly to rude delinquents like us."

Badgermon picks up Kayden who was still unconscious. Bugsy calmed down during the fight thanks to Elmurtemon who was disguised as a skull plushie for Bugsy to hold. Hina put a bookmark into her book and everyone was on their way to the locomon station.

Digimon Entry- Elmurtemon

Level: Rookie, Type: Vaccine, Attribute: Ghost/Shapeshifter

Special Ability: Dios del la Blasta, Cleansing Spirits

Elmurtemon carries his staff of passion and a healthy belief in the power of love. He goes around inspiring poets, artist and creators with the power of his Passion Fruit Staff. Elmurtemon enjoys dancing to music and drinking pina colatas in the rain. Where there is hate, Elmurtemon turns it into love. Where there is love Elmurtemon is there to mingle and dance. However, because of his passionate nature Digimon often mistake his good nature for intense flirting. This makes him the target of jealous girlfriends and boyfriends, wars have been started in the name of his favor although he claims to love all equally and justly. He takes no credit in the actions of others nor does he attempt to halt the conflict his spread of love may do. Occasionally too much of his presence may create obsessed stalkers that are so enamored with him they can think of nothing else but Elmurtemon. Due to this, Elmurtemon tends to hide in plain view as random household objects or clothing.
