Chapter 9

Hello I'm Milo! When I was 3 my family moved to America, and we didn't really fit in. My father was always out of the house and my mother worked in the house doing a whole bunch of small jobs. People would always spread weird rumors about us and would never let me play with the other kids. When I started school everyday mom or Frankie would walk me to and from school. I was also part of a group for kids about my age but, I didn't make a lot of friends there because I spoke weird. Mom said to make friends I should be kind and do nice things for others. So I tried that and the kids were even more mean to me than before.

One day a bunch of kids threw me in a dirt pit and kicked me down. I told them to stop but it made them laugh and kick harder. Then a boy, came to my rescue and beat up them all up on his own. He even broke a kid's arm, his name was Kayden and he was my hero. From that day on Kayden called me a doormat but we hung out a lot and those kids wouldn't dare come near me.

When I was 7, one day dad never came home, Frankie said his job moved him far away and mom cried a lot. After that day mom didn't walk me after school anymore the kids would wait for me to be alone beat me up, steal my things and toss them into the mud/dirt. Kayden would get mad and ask why I didn't fight back, it's because mom told me bad things come from fighting back. Then, mom got really sick and she left too.

People started to come to our door saying 'CPS', Frankie said to never answer the door or the people would take us away. The people then started to try and break the door down but they needed a 'warrant'. That night Kayden came by and asked if I wanted to come with him to a place where we could be free and happier together. I couldn't leave my brothers and it took a long while to persuade frankie but he opened a door to another place from his laptop. Kayden said he was going and he wasn't going back this time. I went with him as did my brothers.

Now, it's my turn to save Kayden like he did me and my brothers! I'm not strong like him and I'm not that brave but, I know what I want to do. While bakemon takes us to the parlor I look all around to figure out a plan or some sort of weakness to get to Kayden. I notice 4 things there are only 2 bakemon, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of Digimon between here and where Kayden went, it's really well decorated/neat and coilymon has been very focused on the door coming up. I whisper to Coilymon who is coiled around me, "Hey, what are you looking at?"

Coilymon whispers, "There. Go."

Bakemon speaks up, "Hey what are you two talking about?"

Milo asks, "Coilymon is just admiring how well kept and decorated this mansion is"

Bakemon seems to perk up, "What a nice kid! Would you like a tour? GrandDracmon takes pride in his wonderous mansion. It's a shame so few have ever gotten to see the insides."

Milo nods, "Can we start with that door?"

Bakemon, "Oh, that leads to the garden! It's where GrandDracmon's most prized Hydrastone is located. Would you like to see it?"

Coilymon, "Yes. Please."

Bakemon 2, "I don't think we should be going off course, here"

Milo, "Oh, I don't want to get you guys in trouble. You both seem like really hard workers. I just thought it would be nice to see the effort everyone here has contributed." Milo gives puppies.

Bakemon 2, "Maybe… just the garden won't hurt"

Bakemon 1, "That's the spiritmon!"

Bakemon 1 takes his keys out and opens the door to a beautiful jungle of roses, flowers and a glistening spring.

Coilymon is focused on a stone in the middle.

Bakemon starts to give a short tour going around the garden until we are infront of the Hydrastone.

Bakemon 1, "…and this here is the Hydrastone! It's said to be the dense extract of 300 digimon eaten and condensed, rolled in it's acids and excreted after 10 years of development! This stone is the largest ever found!"

Milo asks, "Can I get a closer look?"

Bakemon 1 thinks for a second, "Just don't touch it, it's highly toxic and we wouldn't want a bad accident would we?"

I get close to it with Coilymon who decides to devour the stone. A light engulfs Coilymon.

Bakemon, "Oh no…"

Coilymon digivolves into Coilydramon!

Coilydramon grabs both bakemon who yell for back up, "Code Green in the Greenhouse!"

Several Phantomon show up with ghostmon, "Foolish child, prepare to be trimmed!"

I tell Coilydramon, "Welcome to the Jungle!"

Coilydramon covers the entire mansion in greenery. All the servant Digimon yell, "Oh no! GradDracmon is going to blow a fuse! Clean it up fast! Ignore the child we can get him later! Clean! clean! Before the master wakes up!"

I escape riding Coilydramon to lilithmon's room.

"Don't worry Kayden I'm coming!"

Meanwhile, Lilithmon's room

Kayden is tied up in a straight jacket and Sablemon is constrained with a rope being dragged by Bakemon. Lilithmon with a couple of LadyDevimon have rulers ready for discipline. Next to her is an Ebemon Digimon.

Lilithmon giggles, "Ho ho… it's nice to have visitors! Let alone new toys to play with. I was getting bored with the old ones"

Kayden shouts, "You'll never break me woman! You can break my bones, skull and hands but you can't break my spirit!"

Sablemon, "Yea! I mean… Uh, what?!"

Kayden stares at her with resolve and rage.

Ladydevimon pulls a lever on the side of the wall and opens the floor revealing a dark pit. Lilithmon points to Sablemon "Toss that one in there"

Sablemon is tossed in the pit. Kayden yells, "Sablemon!"

"I'm ok!"

Kayden yells at Lillithmon, "What are you going to do to him?!"

Lilithmon giggles sinisterly, "Me? Oh, GradDracmon specifically said to not rot your limbs off. So we are going to do things a bit differently." Lilithmon claps her hands, "Oh, ebemon, Ladydevimon would you do the honors".

Sablemon yells, "Kayden!"

Three Ladydevimon drop into the pit and start whipping Sablemon.

"Gah!" Sablemon cries out in pain.

Kayden yells, "Sablemon! Let him go! It's me not him!"

Ebemon uses his brain invasion, "This will hurt you a lot more than me"

Kayden squirms but he's held back by the straightjacket and tied down by chains. "Do you worst!" Kayden tries to bite at him and fight.

Lilithmon, "Ooo I love it when they are feisty! Take it up a notch Ladies~"

The ladydevimon attach metal objects to their whips and become even more relentless. Kayden can only hopelessly watch. Sablemon screams in agony, "AH! GAH!"

Kayden starts to become enraged, "Sablemon! SABLEMON!"

A bakemon runs into the room, and whispers into her ear.

Lilithmon claps again and they stop their assault on Sablemon, "Change of plans ladies! Kill him."

The mental effects of ebemon's brain invasion starts to weigh on Kayden as memories of his father start to flash in his mind. The days he was alone, the days he was tossed aside, those days he needed someone to be there, the day his mother died, the day he father chose his sister over him. Everyone expected him to be his father but he was a disappointment. He didn't want to be alone again, he tried and failed, again and again. "Please don't…" He can see Sablemon start to fade away too, about to abandon him. Kayden starts to have flashbacks of his father, "Kill him."

Kayden says, "No… NO! FATHER!" The anger consumes him and he becomes possessed by rage and blinded by the pain. He will be abandoned again. No he will abandon them first, he'll hurt them all. It's their fault, everyone else's fault. His father, his friends… his mother's for leaving him alone. They are all going to pay!

Sablemon's eyes become red. "RAWWWRRRR!"

Lilithmon smiles, "Oh this is going to be so much fun!"

Digimon Entry- Coilydramon

Level: Champion, Type: Virus, Attribute: Plant

Coilydramon is a rare and exotic plant. It can produce highly potent toxin that can be used for assassination or medicinal purposes. Normally Coilydramon is an Ambush predator but it is known for stalking it's prey as well. Coilydramon prefer living or paralyzed prey, it can also inject an acid that will turn Digimon into a data slushie as well. It uses it's giant bulb to lure in unsuspecting bug Digimon with a nauseating scent only attractive to the prey it seeks to eat. It's been known to smell like French fries, dead skunks, new cars, new babies and your mom. It sometimes produces a lure in the shape of food, a new GTX memory stick, or a refrigerator. If ever caught inside of it's bulb there is a way to escape by pulling on it's sensitive ovula deep inside the second jaw but that's a 1 in a million chance to actually find it before being digested alive.
