Chapter 1: honeymoon vibes
Princess Rapunzel of Corona was happy. She had just married the love of her life a few hours ago, and now she was having fun at her reception, catching up with her parents, and other girls that would have been her schoolmates growing up. A few hours later, Rapunzel and her new husband, Eugene fitsherbert, were laying in their bed, talking. "Today was the best day of my life", Rapunzel says, "agreed", Eugene replies, "although, I could have lived without the swarming crowds", an hour later later, Rapunzel and Eugene agree to go to bed, "I can't wait to leave for our honeymoon tomorrow", Rapunzel says, "neither can I", Eugene replies. "Goodnight, blondie", Eugene says,"goodnight, Eugene", Rapunzel replies, they give each other a quick kiss, and go to bed. The next morning, they pack their bags, and head out, ready to begin the rest of their lives together. A few hours later, Rapunzel fell asleep on Eugene's shoulder. "Blondie, we're here", Eugene whispers into Rap's ear. Rapunzel jerked awake, excited to see the final destination, and it was gorgeous!!! Rapunzel jumped off of max before he even stopped. It was just like when Rapunzel first saw her own kingdom. The two spent every day for the next 2 weeks looking at everything there was to see, and doing everything there was to do. Later, they're in their hotel room, just talking and enjoying each other's company. "I hope every day can be just like this one", Rapunzel says, "me too, sunshine", Eugene replies. Little did either of them know, their lives were going to change very soon.
Chapter 2: two pink lines
About a month after Rapunzel and Eugene get home from their honeymoon, Rapunzel starts feeling different: she feels sick every morning for 20 minutes, she gets really weird cravings, and she was having Radom mood swings, so one day, she decides to take a 'special' test, and then she waits. After what seems like forever, she looks at the test, and it has two pink lines. Rapunzel stares at it long and hard, and after a few minutes, she starts happy crying. "I'm pregnant", Rapunzel thinks, but then the thought hits her: she has to tell Eugene. Rapunzel begins to worry how he will react: will he leave her? Will he be mad?, one bad thought leads to an even worse thought, and eventually, Rapunzel decides to just keep it a secret from him, and to just avoid him altogether. Over the next few weeks, Rapunzel avoids the best she can, but it's harder than she thought.
Eugene notices something off about Rapunzel lately, she starts eating a lot more, and she's been avoiding him a lot lately. So one day, he decides to confront her about it. He finds her in her room, reading a book. "Hey, blondie, can we talk"?, Eugene asks, "sure", Rapunzel replies. Eugene sits down on the end of Rapunzel's bed. "So, I've been noticing that you've been ignoring me a little bit lately, and I just wanted to ask if there was anything you wanted to tell me"?, Eugene asks "well...", Rapunzel says quietly, "there is something", Rapunzel says, "hey, you can tell me anything", Eugene says comfortingly, "ok, here it goes..." Rapunzel says "I'm...pregnant", Rapunzel says, Eugene just sits there, motionless, and then he passes out onto the floor. "Great", Rapunzel says.
Chapter 3: love you no matter what
Rapunzel drags Eugene onto her bed, and just lets him come to. Eventually, he wakes up, and he looks confused. "Finally, I thought I was going to have to get the frying pan", Rapunzel says. "So, what you said wasn't a dream", Eugene asks, "no, it wasn't", Rapunzel replies. "So, you're not mad"?, she asks, "mad!?!, why would I be mad"?, Eugene asks, "because I ruined your chance of living your life", Rapunzel says, "what!!, no. Listen to me, sunshine, no matter what happens, I will love you no matter what, for better or for worse.", Eugene says, and then pulls Rapunzel into a hug, but doesn't hug too tight. "Thank you, Eugene", Rapunzel says, "what for?", Eugene asks, "for being the best husband ever", Rapunzel replies, "you're welcome", Eugene replies.
Chapter 4: the royal baby
The next 8 months go by in a blur: making a nursery, getting everything ready for him/her, but then the big day arrives: at 8:30 a.m on Saturday, august 16, the new princess was born. When Rapunzel held her new baby girl for the first time, her heart melted. "What are you going to name her?", the doctor asked, "well, after a lot of thought, we decided on a name that describes her perfectly, so her name is ruby grace", Rapunzel says, "she's perfect", Eugene says, and in that moment, holding her baby girl, with her husband right next to her, she knew that this was her happily ever after after all.
