"Y/N L/N, Someone is here to see you," The guard that guarded your cell called from around the corner, before coming into sight with a ring of keys in his right hand. He unlocked the cell while looking you dead in the eyes. You groggily opened your eyes to the image of Guard Kamado leaning over you with a faint blush on his cheeks. You smiled as he held out his arm for you to wrap yours around. Guard Kamado was a kindhearted man- he treated you well, too. You've been in jail for about a year now. And when he checked your records, and allowed you to tell him the story of why you were there, he agreed that it wasn't your fault, and took pity on you. See, the thing was that one day, you were driving down the street, when a car just appeared out of nowhere, and your car went smashing into it. But the twist was that it was a one way… You were going the right way, but they weren't. But the reason is that technically, your car did smash into theirs, and you… you accidentally killed two children, and a teenager driving the car. "You okay, L/n?" Guard Kamado asked gently. You looked up at him sadly. "Yes, guard Kamado." He glared at you playfully before smacking your butt softly. Yeah, he would do things like this sometimes. He said it was just, "An Act Of Sympathy '' Which of course- you believed. "You know I told you to call me Tanjiro when we were alone," He said as you two reached the talk room. "Okay- you know I'll be keeping watc- "Tanjiro," You whispered and he looked down at you. "I know, just- give us some space, okay?" He nodded and patted your shoulder. The door opened as he swiped his card, and pushed you in by your butt. You walked in the room, only to see your lawyer sitting at the table- waiting for you with a stack of papers. "Ah- Tengen-san," You called, pulling out a chair to sit down in. He looked over the brim of his glasses, but once he saw it was you, he smiled and folded them to kinda clip onto his shirt. Something like that. "Ahh~ Miss. L/n, I've been waiting for you," He purred while setting his arms on the table and intertwining his fingers. "I've been working on your case alot recently, and I think I've found a way to convince the judge that it wsn't your fault…" You smiled. "BUT," You frowned. "It's kinda also a lie.." He whispered the last part with a wink. "Come on Tengen-san- I promised to stay true!" He frowned and cracked his neck while sighing. "Well then- you can either let me finish- or you can go back to your cell and live the rest of your life in this rotten place," He suggested nonchalantly. You sighed and relaxed in your seat. "Anyways, as I was about to say-" He quipped while unfolding his glasses and putting them back on. He then reached for a packet of court papers, and set them down in front of you. "Read part nine- where I underlined." Your eyes left his slowly as you looked down at the court terminal and read secton nine. 'Y/N L/N will be inprisoned on may 29t-' You rolled your eyes, and skimmed them down the paper, until they landed on green highliter. Your eyes widened as you read what it said. 'The judge decided that it was unnessassary to look at the footage. Y/N L/N has the option to go on trial, and show the judge footage to plea innocent.' You frantically looked back up at your lawyer. "How the hell- "The judge was hiding it from me." You raised your brows so high you couldn't feel them anymore. "Yep," Tengen Uzui said with a sigh and leant back in his chair- intertwining his fingers behing his head. "Was talking to the old man, and when papers fell off the desk, I offered to pick them up. But when I accdentally looked at some of them, I noticed they were not suposed to stay with the judge." You brought the papers up to your face, and read them out loud happily. "Tengen-san, this is amazing! But… what's the lie?" You asked confusedly as Tengen propped his feet up on the table. "Well, the lie is- "Sorry L/n, time's up." You huffed as Guard Kamado walked into the talk room with your handcuffs in his hand. "But Guard Kamado, I and my l- "Miss. L/n," Tengen warned. You rolled your eyes and bid him a goodnight, before walking back over to Tanjiro to retrieve your handcuffs. He wrapped them around your wrists loosely, patting your butt to signal it was time to go. You groaned as your hands were practically tied behind your back. Suddenly, Guard Kamado pushed you into one of the empty hallways, and then into a room before closing and locking the door. "Hold still," Kamado growled before turning you around and taking off your handcuffs. He then pushed you against the back wall and glowered down at you. "Who the hell is that man?" He demanded. "H-He's just my lawyer! That's all!" Tanjiro growled, and slammed your back against the wall again. "Then why does he keep on looking at you like that?!" You whimpered as his grasp on your shoulders intensified- his fingernails digging painfully deep into your flesh. "T-Tanjiro, stop! You're hurting me!" He growled again before snatching your chin up into a kiss. He pulled away angrily. "I don't care what you say, that man definitely has eyes for you- And I won't allow that." He brought your chin back up to kiss you again. "Who the hell is in here, makin' all that noi-" The door swung open to reveal the headmaster- wide-eyed. Ohhhh boy…
