How Do I Live?

The first day was the hardest for her. After learning that Elliot wasn't coming back to the unit, Olivia went into an interrogation room and cried. She could admit to herself that she wasn't the friendliest individual that week; part of it was due to the person that she wanted the most was no longer by her side and made his choice and the other part of it was that she didn't want anything to change.

When Fin and Olivia drove to the crime scene, she was hysterical. She lost not only her partner but the love of her life, and then her cell phone rang.
"Benson," she managed to say amongst her tears.
"Love you, partner," Elliot replied as he was in the car behind them and followed her to the crime scene.
"What are you doing here, El? Shouldn't you be at home with Kathy and the kids?" she asked him
"Just look at this: the divorce has been finalized."
"Good because how am I supposed to live without you?" she asked him, playing the song, "How Do I Live" by Trisha Yearwood on her phone.
"Good thing you don't have to worry about that, Benson, because you're stuck with me. Now, go save the world. I'll be waiting for you at home," Elliot said, kissing her softly on the lips.
"Love you too El," she told him, as she went back to work at the crime scene, knowing that everything was going to work out.
