- CHAPTER XII -

"Fight Or Flight"

The last Neanderthals looked about at their beloved homeland for the last time. The land that had nurtured and protected them for centuries now held a deadly secret. They were the final remnant of a species almost destroyed by a single night of carnal pleasure.

They stood in the shadows, looking out over the rolling hills and forests with a sense of loss and sadness. They had known that their days on the land were numbered, but they had never expected this to be the end.

They gathered their weapons and set off into the night. The land was unfamiliar and dangerous, but they did not let fear stop them. They kept moving forward, determined to fight for their home.

Their journey was filled with danger and uncertainty. They faced wild predators, harsh weather and menacing human settlements, but still managed to survive. In the end, their determination to survive and reclaim their land was not enough to keep them safe.

The Neanderthals were forced to flee from the land that had been their home. They left behind their cherished memories and the ruins of their homes. As they left, they cast one last glance over the familiar landscape, knowing that they would never return.

The last of the Neanderthals vanished into the night, never to be seen again. The end of an era had come and the future of humanity was changed forever. The land that the Neanderthals had fought and died for remained silent, a reminder of the tragedy that had passed.
