The Renewed Justice Syndicate had been working hard lately, dealing with various threats to the city and beyond. They finally had a day off, and they each had their own ideas on how to spend it.

Tom Haggerston, aka The Metro Marvel, was looking for some quiet time to catch up on his reading. "I might just stay in and read a book," he said.
Karen Smith, aka The Engineer, had a project she had been meaning to work on. "I think I'll go to my workshop and tinker with my latest invention," she said.
Joker and Future Batman had plans to play some board games together, as they were both avid gamers.
As they dispersed, they agreed to meet up later for dinner. After some time had passed, they met up again, each having enjoyed their own activities.
As they sat down to dinner, John Cena couldn't help but notice something different about the group. "What's that?" he asked, pointing to a small creature that had snuck into their headquarters.
It was a small, scruffy dog with a goofy grin on its face. The team couldn't resist the little guy's charm and they ended up adopting him.
They each took turns trying to come up with a name for the dog, but they couldn't agree on anything. Finally, Joker suggested a name that made everyone laugh: "How about we call him Alfred, like Batman's butler?"
Everyone agreed and they spent the rest of the night playing with their new furry friend. The only one who wasn't thrilled was Future Batman, who was trying to get some work done.
But even he couldn't resist the little guy's charms. As he sat at his desk, Alfred jumped into his lap and gave him a big, sloppy kiss. The rest of the team laughed as Future Batman tried to wipe the slobber off his face.
