Chapter two:
Welcome to chapter two!! I just wanted to start off I am just going to skip the part where Hiccup's mom gets taken by Cloudjumper since anyone who has watched the movies now knows what happens by heart so we will be starting a little after the battle with Hiccup's dad taking him to a special someone's house
Here is an early chapter. Hope you all enjoy it ;)

Today was not a day to mess with Stoick, he was having a very bad day first the dragon attack. Then, having to watch that bloody beast take his beloved wife Valka and finally, having to take care of his still crying son Hiccup he just did know what to do he was having too many emotions run between anger at dragons to depression of the loss of his wife and the idea/thought of hiccup growing up without the care and love of a mother.
'what am I gonna do I also have to go to the village meeting to hear the report on the damage to our village homes and livestock but he just won't stop crying and he doesn't have his mother to take care of him' Stoick thought "wait that is it" he said out loud he just remembered that his best friend Erik Hofferson's wife name Hilga Hofferson who was friends with his wife that also had a baby girl not long after hiccup was born.
So, he decided to go ask if Astrid's mother will take care of Hiccup for a while so picking up Hiccup he walked to Hofferson's house finally, when he reached the hofferson house he knocked on the door.
Hilga answered while carrying a crying baby Astrid "hello Chief what brings you to our lovely home?" greeted Hilga
"Well, I have a question/favor to ask. Can you take care of my sweet baby Hiccup for a while or at least until the meeting is over?" Stoick asked.
"Of course I can, he is such a handsome little one. But, I have a question, why do you need me to watch him instead of Valka?" Hilga asked
The expression on Stoick's face worsens, making him sadder at the loss of his wife. But before he could say anything, Hilga saw the expression to be much sadder so she reluctantly asked "what's wrong d…did something happen to Valka?"
All Stoick could do was nod
"I am so sorry Stoick I shouldn't have asked that," said Hilga while tears fell from her eyes at the loss of her best friend
"You are alright you didn't know," Stoick said with tears in his eyes as well from the loss of his wife
"Alright 'll take care of him you go do what you got to do," said Hilga while taking the still crying baby hiccup. The moment hiccup was in her arm both baby Hiccup and baby Astrid instantly stopped crying and started playing and laughing at each other
Both Stoick and Hilga both smiled at that
"Well I got to go, are you sure you can take care of him for a while?" Asked Stoick
"Of course I am sure," said Hilga looking down at both the laughing children
"Alright I'll be back after the meeting hopefully," Said as he walked out of the house closing the door
Hilga sighed "why don't we get you both feed and bathe," said putting them in the crib while she gets ready to feed them while they are playing and laughing
Though suddenly the laughing stopped and that got Hilga worried and a little curious so she hurried to Astrid's room. Only, to see the most adorable thing. You maybe wonder what that is but there in the crib were both baby Hiccup and baby Astrid sleeping together all cuddled up
So instead of waking them up to feed them and bathe them, she decided to just wrap them up in a blanket and let them sleep she will feed them and bathe them when they wake up
—--Time skip--
3 hours later
We see both Stoick and Erik walk in talking a little loud until Hilga who has just got done fixing supper glared at them making the both look slightly frightened. Yes, the mighty Stoick the vast was frightened. though it would have been a funny scene if the situation wasn't serious
Hilga glared at them for a few more minutes until she finally said "you to better be silent cause if you wake them, babies up I'll beat you so bad that even the gods can't save you"
Erik then said. "Sorry, hon–" was saying until it finally clicked to what she said, "wait what do you mean babies?" Asked
"Yes babies baby hiccup is in there with Astrid sleeping I thought Stoick would have mentioned it since he was the one to drop him off here"
Stoick laughed while rubbing the back of his head and said "um I might have forgotten to mention that"
Erik glared then said "I now understand who was taking care of Hiccup when we found out in the meeting what happened to Valka"
All three had a frown at the losing Valka until Hilga decided to lighten up the mood and told them to follow her so not wanting to argue they followed her to Astrid's room where she shows them Hiccup and Astrid sleeping together all cuddled up though when Stoick and Erik saw it they smiled and look at each other and thought the same thing while going back to the main hall to eat Hilga amazing cooking
'I am glad that we made the marriage contract between them both' both thought though this was a special contract one that can be broken with the only way to break it is to vow to all the gods that they will never love each other
Finally, after a while of enjoying the scene, Stoick then says " well I better take Hiccup back home now" though when reaching for Hiccup Hilga stopped him and shock her add
Stoick was confused Hilga then said " no use I try splitting them up so I can feed them and give them a bath both they just clung on to each other tighter"
"So what do we do then," asked Erik
"Well, he can always stay here for the night. I am sure my darling husband won't complain," said Hilga while giving him a glare that said not to argue.
"Also it will help me be able to take care of him instead of having to walk to your house to feed him plus with the fact that they haven't eaten since you bring him here they will be very hungry"
Stoick couldn't argue since he had no way to feed him yet so he agreed and went back to eating the rest of his food before getting up and saying his goodbyes, while also saying he will come to pick him up tomorrow
"Might as well head to bed it has been a hard and tiring day" said Erik

—--Scene change--
5 years later
It was close to the afternoon when toothless also his dad and other night furies were out getting food when they suddenly see a large fleet of ships came out of nowhere but not just any kind of ships they were dragon hunter ships
NIGHT FURYS yelled a dragon hunter get
"We found them" yelled another
"No we didn't you idiot this isn't the island these ones must be getting food for their family" yelled another dragon hunter
" Who cares just fire bring them down though let some go the boss would love to have some night furies" yelled a captain
Up with the night furies they were trying to fight them off but without the cover of darkness they were easier to see and with a large fleet they were also easier to take down
Toothless dad said next to Toothless to retreat but sadly it was too late a lot were captured though some were able to escape by going back toward home though one younger female night fury name Ginny wasn't able to get back to her family like the rest of the younglings so she flew south to get away from the bad humans
While Ginny was flying south she heard this voice/command saying 'come to me'
Ginny was told not to go that way because of that evil queen that even the night fury's heard of and the stories about how she makes her subject do her bidding while not caring about if they live are not but Ginny was young and curious decided to check it out not knowing that it will be the worst decision ever.

Author Notes
Hehe there is chapter 2 lol though I can say the next chapter will start off at night fury island where we see the aftermath of that attack plus we will be seeing some new some people/dragon that are a big part of the story which you will being seeing more of plus if i have the room we will have a time skip for something major
Also thought i'll let you know that hiccup not gonna be the only one that has an extra girl our good man or I should say dragon is gonna have a female light fury and a female night fury has his mate you already met the female night fury and you next chapter if i can put it in there you will met the female light fury
